Power Based Dynamic Clustering Scheme for Ad Hoc Networks (애드 혹 네트웍을 위한 전력 기반 동적 클러스터 구성 방법)

  • 애드 혹 네트웍(Ad Hoc Networks)은 유선 기반 망을 배제한 완전한 모바일 네트웍이다. 이동성이 큰 애드 혹 네트웍 노드간에는 경로 설정을 위해서 주기적으로 라우팅 패킷이 전송된다. 라우팅 방법은 소스 전송 요구에 따른 요구 기반 라우팅과 주기적으로 라우팅 테이블을 갱신하는 테이블 기반 라우팅으로 나누어진다. 또한, 이 두가지 방법을 혼합한 라우팅을 사용할 수 있는데, 기존의 연구에서 동등한 노드의 자원과 역할을 가정하기 때문에, 실제 네트웍에 적용하는데 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 클러스터를 이용한 라우팅 방법을 제안한다. 단순한 클러스터를 이용한 노드 관리는 클러스터 구성에 따른 관리 오버헤드가 발생하게 된다. 따라서 클러스터 구성 노드의 적정 수준을 유지하고, 전파 자원이 충분한 글러스터 선출 방법을 제안함으로써, 네트웍 전체의 관리 오버헤드를 줄일 수 있다. 시뮬레이션은 NS2 [12]를 이용하여, 시뮬레이션 시간동안 노드가 잔여 전력에 따라 클러스터 멤버의 수와 Hello Packet 의 주기를 변화 시킴으로써 노드의 생존성을 보장하고, 최적을 클러스터 구성할 수 있는 노드 수를 측정하였다.

  • A failure or degradation of reactor upper head penetration is a troublesome problem at Nuclear Power Plants. A flaw in the reactor upper head penetration can result in unplanned plant shutdown for repair, and cause serious economic losses on the plants. Consequently, a detection of flaws is a matter of more importance. Until now, only the base metal, not including J-groove weld, in reactor upper head penetration has been inspected in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a and ASME code case N-729-1 requirements. Accordingly, it is rather difficult to detect manufacturing defects and repair defects in J-groove weld. This paper presents a case study on the application of Time of Flight Diffraction UT technique to examine the J-groove weld in reactor head penetration using reactor head penetration mockup with artificial flaws. We expect that this study result will offer a way to understand the non-destructive examination technology for J-groove weld in reactor upper head penetration.

A Study on Measurement and Automation Method of Cylinder Head Swirl (실린더 헤드 스월 측정 및 자동화 방법에 관한 연구)

  • The swirl ratio of a charge in the cylinder was estimated by calculating the ratio of the rotary speed of charge which could be simulated from the rotary speed of paddle in the swirl measurement apparatus, to the engine speed which could be calculated by measuring intake air flow rate. The automation of the swirl ratio measurement for cylinder head was achieved by controling both valve lift in cylinder head and a suction pressure of surge tank using two step-motors. The number of measurement position for calculating mean swirl ratio was varied by adjusting the interval of valve lift. The mean swirl ratio with varying the number of measurement position showed nearly constant value. Two measurement methods for measuring the swirl ratio were compared, one was to control the suction pressure of the surge tank with PID (proportional, integral, differential) mode with by-pass valve controlled by the step motor and the other did not control the surge tank pressure by fixing the by-pass valve. The difference of the mean swirl ratio between the two measurement methods showed nearly constant value with varying the number of measurement position. This means that the w/o PID control method could be preferred to the PID control method which has been used, due to the simpleness of the swirl measurement.

  • 본 논문에서는 스캐닝 미러의 일종으로, 광저장 장치의 픽업헤드용으로 미세회전을 하면서 레이저 빔을 편향시키는 용도로 사용되는 미러를 제작하고 구동실험을 하였다. 제작된 미러의 크기는 $2400{\times}2400{\times}64{\mu}m^3$이고, 빔 스프링은 $500{\times}9.6{\times}64{\mu}m^3$이다. 니켈 전해 도금으로 29${\mu}m$ 높이의 구동 전극을 제작하였고(세가지 모델: 공기통로가 없는 전극, 공기통로와 간격이 각각 200${\mu}m$인 전극, 공기통로와 간격이 각각 100${\mu}m$인 전극), 미러판과 전극을 조립하여(미러판과 전극 사이의 간격은 각각 29${\mu}m$, 26${\mu}m$, 26${\mu}m$) 구동실험을 하였다. 공진 주파수의 계산간은 576Hz, 측정값은 3개의 미러에서 모두 568Hz이었다. 전극과 미러판의 간격이 최대 접근거리 18${\mu}m$가 되도록 미세 회전을 시켰을 때, 공기통로가 없는 전극에서는 공진 주파수가 524Hz, 공기통로가 200${\mu}m$인 전극에서는 544Hz로 각각 감쇠되었고, 공기통로가 100${\mu}m$인 전극에서는 그대로 568Hz이었다.

A Study on the Measurement of Flame Visualization, Temperature and Soot for Diffusion Flame in a Diesel Engine Using High-Speed Camera (고속카메라를 이용한 디젤엔진내의 화염 가시화, 화염의 온도 및 매연 측정에 관한 연구)

  • The temperature and soot of the visualized diesel engine's turbulent flow of the flame was measured qualitatively. In the combustion chamber, in order to judge the affect that the swirl current has on the current ratio two heads with different ratios were used. Using a high speed camera, the results were analyzed using flame visualization. In order to measure the temperature and soot of the turbulent flames like diesel flames, two color methods were used to acquire temperature and the soot of the flames according to the conditions through analyzing the two wavelengths of the flames. It was possible to measure the highest temperature of the non-swirl head visualized engine, which is approximately 2400K, and that swirl head engine managed up to 2100K. With respect to the visualized diesel engine soot, we got the grasp of the KL factor which bears the qualitative information of the soot. This study is dedicated to suggesting the possibility of measuring not only the temperature but also soot of the diffusion flame of the diesel engine turbulent flames.

  • Accurately controlling the shape of the read/write head structure is critical in the performance of a modem hard disk drive. The sliders investigated are composed of alumina and titanium carbide(AITiC) and act as an air bearing when passing over the disks. Controlling the curvature of the slider is of primary importance. A laser scribing system that produces curvature by inducing residual stress into the slider can be utilized. Predicting the curvature created by a pattern of scribes is of great importance to increase the control over the sliders' shape. The force system that produces stresses similar to the laser scribing is applied to the finite element analysis model. The curvatures created by the force system are calibrated to experimental measurements.

  • This automotive headlight control system is newly proposed that, under my slope degree of the driving mad(flat up-hill, and down-hill) at night driving, the reflecting mirror of the headlight can be automatically controlled for safe driving. At first whether or not any vehicle is driven near is checked by photo sensor. Secondly, using the slope degree of the automotive feedbacked from the tilt sensor, the servo motor with the headlight is controlled to be turned right or down to the suitable angle. The servo motor is appropriately controlled according to road conditions. The proposed headlight control system is designed on the basis of the tested illumination intensity obtained according to any slope degree of roads. Finally, it is confirmed that the test model works very well in the given road conditions and environments.

The Head Scatter Factor For Quasi - small Field Sizes (준소조사면에서의 산란인자)

  • The behavior of the correction factor associated with the collimator opening(head-scatter factor) were investigated for the 6MV x-ray beams of medical linear accelerator. The primary photon fluence was measured in air quasi-small fied size. Consideration in this study was given to the effect of head scatter factor with quasi-small fied size, the upper and lower collimator jaw scatter collection factors of quasi-small field (4-10cm) were measured with ion chamber. In general, the wedge factors which are used clinical practics are ignored of dependency on field sizes and depth. In wedge factors for each wedge filter were measured at various depth by using 6MV X-ray. In this present we inverstigated systematically the depth and field sizes dependency to determine the absorbed dose more accurately. Head scatter(upper-lower collimator jaw)appears to be (1) a small effect, less than 5% over the range of clinical field sizes (2) generated primarily at the flattening filter and therefored influenced most by the upper collimator setting.

  • In this paper, we implemented the conference system based on DTLS for saving securely the VoIP, which is served sprightly in the latest, securely and tested (and also analyzed) the system. As VoIP technology development, demand of conference system is increased and the related technologies are growed. But Security protocol to protect conference service is getting late than conference technology. In this paper, we studied based on DTLS protocol that can provide function of signaling, channel security, media channel security and application of group key and apply to VoIP conference system based UDP unchanged. In this paper, we searched suggested security protocols based on DTLS can apply to conference system and implement and apply the protocol to conference system. And we tested (and also alayzed) overhead of encryption and key management mechanism.
