In this paper we address the problem of detecting and estimating an unknown narrow band signal in a noise interference environment A new practical band estimation method, yielding good performance even in case of finite-length data, is presented. More specifically, wavelet packet transform is utilized to detect the more accurate time-variant band, then we estimate the power from wavelet filter-coefficients of the respective band. Also, third-order cumulants, and projection cross-correlation (PCC) criterion are utilized to achieve an effective SNR improvement for the time-variant band estimation. In case of time variant band estimation, the PCC method yields better performance than the correlation method.

40$0^{\circ}C$ $H_2O$ steam 분위기에서 Zr-2,5wt%Nb 및 Zr-20wt%Nb 합금의 산화거동을 열처리조건에 따른 미세조직 관점에서 고찰하였으며, 형성된 oxide를 분석하여 산화기구를 규명하고자 하였다. Zr-Nb 합금의 산화거동은 열처리에 따라 협성된 조직상에 매우 민감하였는데, 주 조직인 a-Zr 상 보다는 $\beta$상들에 ($\beta$-Zr, $\beta$-Nb) 보다 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 보인다. $\beta$-Zr 상은 $\alpha$-Zr 상에 비해 부식저항성이 낮으며, 그 양에 관계없이 유사한 정도의 부식거동을 보인다. $\beta$-Nb 상의 경우, 미세한 크기로 적은양이 존재하는 경우 부식저항성에 별다른 영향이 없어 보이는 반면, 상당량의 $\beta$-Nb 상이 조대한 크기로 (약 0,2$\mu\textrm{m}$) 존재하는 경우 매우 불안정한 부식거동을 보였다. 이들 $\beta$상들의 낮은 산화저항성은 Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ 을 포함한 Nb 계 oxide의 형성에 주로 기인한 것으로 추정된다.

Precise control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) over wide speed range is an engineering challenge. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of speed estimation and control for IPMSM using hybrid intelligent control. The hybrid combination of neural network and adaptive fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper is proposed speed control of IPMSM using adaptive neural network fuzzy(A-NNF) and estimation of speed using artificial neural network(ANN) controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed.

원격강의를 수강함에 있어 직장에 다니는 학생과 일반학생은 여건의 차이가 있을 것으로 추정된다. 본 논문에서는 원격강의 수강생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 수강에 대한 충실성 인식차이, 수강시간에 대한 차이, 콘텐츠 수강 완료여부에 대한 차이를 통계적으로 검증하였다. 검증 결과는 직장인은 자신이 충실하지 못했다는 인식을 비직장인에 비해 통계적으로 유의한 정도로 갖고 있으나 실제 수강시간은 통계적으로 차이가 없고 콘텐츠 수강 완료 여부에서도 통계적으로 차이를 보이지는 않는 것으로 나타나고 있다.

In this paper, a new acoustic echo cancellation approach based on the DUET algorithm and scaling factor estimation is proposed to solve the scaling ambiguity in case of blind separation based acoustic echo cancellation in a noisy environment. In hands-free full-duplex communication system. acoustic noises picked up by the microphone are mixed with echo signal. For this reason, the echo cancellation system may provide poor performance. For that purpose, a degenerate unmixing estimation technique, adjusted in the time-frequency domain, is employed to separate undesired echo signals and noises. Also, since scaling and permutation ambiguities have not been solved in the blind source separation algorithm, kurtosis for the desired signal selection and a scaling factor estimation algorithm are utilized in this rarer for the separation of an echo signal. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach yields better echo cancellation and noise reduction performances, compared with conventional methods.

참굴에 다환성방향족탄화수소(PAHs)의 축적성과 이 물질들이 미치는 독성을 평가하기 위해 해양환경에서 빈번히 검출되는 PAHs 중의 하나인 fluoranthene을 사용한 모델연구를 수행하였다. Fluoranthene을 0.01-1ppm의 농도로 2주간 참굴에 노출시켰을 때 참굴 조직내의 fluoranthene의 농도는 노출기간 및 노출농도에 비례하여 최고 40-70배까지 증가하였다. 소화맹낭과 폐각근의 지질 과산화물가는 노출기간 및 노출농도에 관련하여 현저히 증가하였으며 수용성단백질의 함량은 노출기간이 길어짐에 따라 서서히 감소하였다. 그러나 glycogen 함량, nucleoside/nucleotide, DNA 및 RNA 함량은 변화하지 않았다. 이 결과로 fluoranthene은 굴의 조직내로 원활하게 축적함을 확인하였다. 또한 과산화지질의 함량은 fluoranthene에의 오염에 대해 신속히 반응하는 지표의 하나로 추정되며 수용성단백질의 감소도 비록 시간적으로 다소 둔감하기는 하나 또 다른 지표가 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 지난 20세기 동안 한반도 중부 지방의 여름철 7월과 8월의 일최고기온과 일최저기온의 지역적 패턴을 조사하였다. 조사결과 연구기간 동안 여름철 일최고기온의 평균 및 일정 임계치 이상의 고온 특이일의 빈도가 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다. 반면, 여름철 일최저기온의 평균은 지속적으로 상승하여 결과적으로 이 지역의 여름철 일교차의 평균이 급격히 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 일최고기온의 감소 추세는 1950년대 이래로 진행되어온 조림사업으로 인한 삼림 임목 축적량의 증가와 관련성이 있는 것으로 추정되었다. 이 밖에도 본 연구에서는 현재의 도시화 지구온난화가 지속된다는 가정 하에 기온극값 발생빈도와 장기적인 패턴변화를 예측하는 모델을 제시하였다.

최근 들어 손 제스처를 인간-기계 인터페이스에 활용하는 연구가 많아지고 있다. 그 중에서 수화 인식은 청각장애인과 일반인 사이의 원활한 의사 소통을 하게 해 주는 인터페이스로서 중요성이 날로 더해가고 있다. 하지만 기존의 수화 인식 연구는 사용자 개개인의 수화 동작의 차이를 고려하지 않고 다수 사용자를 위한 모델을 사용하기 때문에 사용자에 따라 인식률이 낮아지게 된다. 이러한 점을 보완하기 위해 본 논문에서는 개개인의 수화 동작 특성을 반영하여 시스템이 사용자에게 적응해 가는 과정을 다루고자 한다. 특히 점진적인 사용자 적응에 있어서 가장 문제가 되는 것은 어떻게 비관측된 상태(unobserved state)의 파라미터를 수정할 것인가 하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 동작 유사도와 적응 추이에 의한 추정을 통해 비관측된 상태의 모델 파라미터를 수정한다. 실제 청각 장애인들로부터 획득한 데이터베이스를 사용하여 제안한 방법이 기존 방법에 비해 더욱 빠르게 사용자의 특성을 시스템에 반영하고 인식률을 향상시킨다는 것을 실험을 통해 보인다.

In many countries a considerable amount of demolition wastes is generated and wastes concrete constitutes a significant proportion of the construction waste. Therefore, the necessity for the use of recycled aggregate in concrete arise and the reuse of a waste concrete may solve the problems of environmental pollution and shortage of natural aggregate. According to this study is to examine the possibility of site adoption microwave-use early strength estimation method. Based on the existed study related the plain concrete, the interrelation between recycled aggregate concrte and microwave-use early strength estimation method is required.

The objective of this paper is to propose a new efficient technique for the estimation of time-delay parameters using wavelet theory and third-order cumulants, yielding good performance even in the case of low SNR. In particular, band-limited non-Gaussian signals with non-zero skewness and spatially correlated Gaussian noises are considered here. The approach is based on the fact that the effects of spatially correlated Gaussian noises on time-delay estimation can be reduced by using the projection sequences (based on the redundant wavelet decomposition) of given measurements in the higher-order cumulant domain. Finally, the performance of the proposed approach is demonstrated using simulations.
