This study is aimed to build an effective information management system for natural ecosystem in local Kang-wha area. We analyze the management strategies for the information related to environment ecosystem and natural ecosystem. A prototype is applied to equip search functions for related-agency information, natural environmental information, spatial information, and ecosystem information. It is also capable of editing the information for related-agency information and natural environmental information. Developed various for future study, a prototype of natural eco-information management system will be operated, which discovers and selves potential problems. It is, in turn, utilited for environmental management system of water quality, air quality and waste management. As the final goal, it is expected to build a total environment information management system by integrating those different environmental information systems.

A Parking Guidance and Information Service System is to provide real-time parking-information and the shortest parking-path for increasing the user's convenience, relieving traffic congestion, reducing illegal parking, and maximizing the efficiency of parking management. This paper discusses the result of the needs analysis, design, and implementation of the Parking Guidance and Information Service System. Furthermore, it analyzes and compares the parking time and vehicle turnover rate before and after the system installation.

A practical application of flight-axes/attitude control thrusters to the space launch vehicle and their design development localization are investigated and analyzed. Hydrazine thrusters are mostly used in a final stage of space launch vehicles on account of its higher specific impulse and reliability necessary for the precise attitude control attaining the orbit insertion with higher accuracy.

This study attempts to suggest an improvement plan of the currently prescribed record classification standard table as the guidance to select and assess the public records of local governments. For this purpose, this study utilized the methodologies of literature review, survey, and experts' assessments. It investigated the current situation on unit tasks and preservation periods targeting major functions of 'construction and architecture' in the record management standard table in the 9 provinces, and it also deduced the characteristics and problems of unit task and preservation period by comparing and analyzing the unit task and preservation period utilized in more than 3 provinces. Based on the results from the analysis on the current situation and comparison, this study deduced the new unit tasks and preservation periods. And the evaluation targeting practitioners and expertise was conducted, and then the revised design plan was finally presented 4 medium- function items, 18 small - function items operated in more than 4 provinces, 47 unit task items, which led to the total 69 items. This study can be utilized as a guidance for establishing the record management standard table based on the uniqueness and originality of public record of local governments and the task function and organization of institutions in the future.

The seventh year of implementing online material deposit demands a systematic collection, legal and regulatory improvements, and the establishment of a long-term strategic plan for online material collection. In this study, we aimed to propose an online material collection strategy and a long-term roadmap for preserving online resources as national intellectual and cultural heritage for future generations. To achieve this, we analyzed the status of domestic and foreign libraries, related laws and regulations, and the types and collection status of online materials. Based on this analysis, we proposed practical collection standards and methods. Ultimately, a long-term roadmap and implementation plan were suggested. The long-term development plan for online material collection established a phased, concrete implementation strategy. This includes the foundation-building phase of online material collection, followed by the expansion phase, and finally reaching the maturity phase.

The purpose of this study was to identify the average cost and present status of non-benefit medical expenses by using the data of tertiary hospitals released by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service(HIRA), and to compare the data to find cost variations. The target of analysis was the present status of the non-benefit medical expenses reported by 41 tertiary hospitals among the 44 previously designated hospitals (three were excluded due to revocation or new designation) for 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 (until April). This study was conducted after approval of using the released data of the HIRA's data opening system. This study was analyzed by its general characteristics, annual non-benefit medical expenses by frequency analysis, and annual understanding of variation by designating Coefficient of Variation (C.V.). The research found out that the number of details of non-benefit medical expense was gradually increased: the numbers of categories were 51 in 2015, 53 in 2016, and 98 in 2017, but there was a rapid increase in 2018 by 193. As a result, to standardize non-benefit medical expense items across tertiary hospitals due to their variations in the expenses, the government should expand standardized non-benefit medical expenses and make it mandatory for medical institutions to use the standardized items or names of such expenses.

The marine ecosystem survey investigates and analyzes multi-parameters at various times from various sites. Therefore, it is very difficult to analyze the complex ecological data of multi-items effectively, and it is more difficult to identify the current status and diagnose the problems of ecosystem through data analysis. Therefore, this paper aims to provide an example of interpretation of complex ecological data through analysis of distribution characteristics and outliers of ecological survey data. The main contents of the study are to elucidate the background levels of coastal ecosystem parameters considering the distribution characteristics of data, and to establish ecosystem monitoring indicators and an adaptive management system for the coastal waters in Korean Peninsula. The data used in this paper are based on the coastal ecosystem survey of the National Marine Ecosystem Monitoring Program conducted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation (KOEM), and the major citations are from year 2015 to 2017. This article is a preliminary study to establish the above processes and the final result will be derived in 2020 when the coastal ecosystem survey is completed three times along the Korean coast.

GIS technique was applied to identify the regional hydrologic units for groundwater exploitation and recharge analysis in a study area. The technique was very effective to identify the potential areas for groundwater exploitation, and for groundwater management & land use planning. GIS database of environmental resources was complied from a variety of sources and scales as the foundation for analysis, including digitizing and scanning of hardcopy maps. A DEM(Digital Elevation Model) was used to dassify slopes, and identify problematic drainage system. Quantitative analysis of environmental resources helps us to develop the scoring system of GIS model, which evaluates each resource in relation to the others and reflects the relative importance of each resource. ARC4NFO was used to construct digital database, and the cartographic simulation techniques were applied in order to create new maps.

Following the rapid development and change of information technologies and sociocultural environments, public libraries are recently facing demand for various changes regarding their traditional functions and roles. They need to make efforts to understand accurately the changing factors of their surrounding environments and their resulting job changes so that they can make active responses to the changes of the times. The purposes of this study are to diagnose changing situations in the current surrounding environments and job content of public libraries and propose a basic direction for them to figure out and react to the causes of their core change content. For these purposes, the study 1) examined literature and previous studies on the surrounding environments and job factors of public libraries, 2) reviewed current job states and change cases in major criteria and standards, legislations, institutions, and policies about public libraries, and finally 3) identified the factors of their surrounding environments and job changes, tested their validity in the delphi method.
