Parallel Computing Based Design Framework for Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (병렬 컴퓨팅 기반 다분야통합최적설계 지원 설계 프레임워크)

  • A parallel computing technique was applied to large scale structure analysis or aerodynamic design and it is a essential element in reducing the huge computation time for large scale design problem. We can use a many computers for reducing the analysis time of multidisciplinary design optimization. But previous MDO frameworks can not support a parallel design process technique so still existing which calls an analysis program continuously. In this paper, We developed a MDO framework(MLR) which supports a parallel design process to solve sequential analysis call. Finally, three sample cases are presented to show the efficiency of design time using the suggested MDO framework.

  • 본 연구는 전산유체역학(CFD)을 이용하여 트랙터 캐빈 내부의 온도 변화 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하고 이를 통해 공조장치의 위치를 최적화 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 자동차나 열차를 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 차량 내부의 유동 해석 연구 사례는 많으나, 트랙터를 대상으로 한 연구 사례는 적다. 이에 트랙터의 공조장치를 설계하고 그 성능을 검증할 때 시뮬레이션 모델을 활용한다면, 인력, 시간 등의 손실을 줄일 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 상용 CFD 프로그램을 활용하여 공조 장치의 위치에 따른 세 가지 트랙터 캐빈 모델을 제작한 뒤, 각각의 모델에 대해서 열 유동 해석을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과가 실제 트랙터의 시험 결과와 비슷한 경향을 보이고 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며 이를 통해 모델의 적합성을 확인하였다. 또한 세 가지의 캐빈 모델 중 탑승자에게 가장 쾌적한 환경을 제공할 수 있는 모델은 기존의 국내 트랙터와 같은 천정부에 공조 장치가 있는 것이 아니라, 핸들이 있는 전면부에 위치하는 것이 가장 적합하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다

Structural Optimization of a RC Building for Minimizing Weight (중량 최소화를 위한 RC 빌딩의 구조 최적설계)

  • Structural optimization is performed to minimize the weight of a RC building structure, which has eight floors above ground and three underground, under gravity, wind, and seismic loads. Design optimization problem is formulated to find the values of the design variables that minimize the volume while satisfying various design and side constraints. To solved the optimization problem posed, several design techniques equipped in PIAnO, a commercial PIDO tool, are used. DOE is used to generate training points and structural analysis is performed using MIADS Gen, a general-purpose structural analysis CAE tool. Then, meta-models are generated from structural analysis results and accuracies of meta-models are evaluated. Next, design optimization is performed by using the verified meta-models and optimization technique equipped in PIAnO. Finally, we obtained optimal results, which could demonstrate the effectiveness of our design method.

Development of Capacity Design Aid for Rainwater Harvesting (CARAH) with Graphical User Interface (사용자 편의 환경을 갖춘 빗물이용시설의 저류 용량 결정 프로그램(CARAH) 개발)

  • 전 세계적으로 많은 나라들이 기후변화에 적응하기 위해 수자원 관리 전략을 마련하고 있으며, 수자원의 근간이 되는 빗물의 효율적 사용을 위해 우리나라에서도 빗물이용시설이 많이 도입되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자 편의 환경(graphical user interface; GUI)을 갖춘 빗물이용시설의 용량 결정 프로그램(capacity design aid for rainwater harvesting; CARAH)을 개발하여 관련 연구와 업무에 활용성을 높이고자 하였다. CARAH는 저수지 질량 보존식과 python의 pyswarm package에 탑재된 메타 휴리스틱 방법 중 하나인 입자 군집 최적화(particle swarm optimization; PSO) 기법을 연계하여 빗물이용시설의 최적 용량을 짧은 시간에 결정될 수 있도록 개발되었다. 그리고, C#의 Windows Forms Application을 이용하여 사용자 편의 환경을 구현하였다. CARAH의 입력 자료는 모의 기간, 유입량, 목표공급량, 공급보장률이고, 출력 자료는 공급보장률-저류조용량, 목표공급량-실공급량-미달성량, 저류용량-유입량-실공급량이다. 빗물이용시설 계획에 필요한 여러 입력 자료를 쉽게 입력할 수 있도록 구현하였고, 그래프와 표의 형태로 계산된 결과를 화면에 직접 표출함으로써 사용자가 직관적으로 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 한편, 입·출력 자료를 포함한 분석 결과는 파일로 관리할 수 있도록 기능을 갖추어 수정 및 보완 등의 반복적 활용이 가능하도록 하였다. 개발된 프로그램의 활용성을 검토하기 위해 실제 저류지가 설계된 인천의 청라지구 1공구를 대상으로 적용하였고, 분석 결과의 적절성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 CARAH는 빗물이용시설의 용량 결정에 관한 효율을 높일 수 있는 프로그램이고, 누구나 쉽고 간편하게 사용할 수 있는 프로그램으로서 향후 활용성이 높을 것으로 판단된다.

Also, each mountings that display NMEA protocol can cause double resources waste and damage etc. because manufacturing firm and platform are different. Can act separatively as single hardware module of reliable processing method and high efficiency to supplement this in this treatise, and because using design of optimized cue, heighten memory efficiency of module, and proposed NMEA protocol Multiplexer that can keep high trustability of Come on, deviation compass, echo sound, mountings of GPS and so on and real time communication that is main input sensor equipment about embodiment.

  • In this study, a new fault tolerant controller based on a model following adaptive technique is applied to the reconfiguration mode of supersonic advanced trainer. The designed controller is applied to the flight control system of high performance aircraft. To verify the performance of the proposed controller, numerical simulations are executed using a non-realtime nonlinear verification tool.

  • Recent development of a smart structures module and its successful integration with a multidisciplinary design optimization software $ASTROS^*$ and an Aeroservoelasticity module is presented. A modeled F-16 wing using piezoelectric actuators is used as an example to demonstrate the integrated software capability to design a flutter suppression system. For an active control design, neural network based controller is used for this study. A smart structures module is developed by modifying the existing thermal loads module in $ASTROS^*$ in order to include the effects of the induced strain due to piezoelectric actuation. The control surface/piezoelectric equivalence model principle is developed, which ensures the interchangeability between the control surface force input and the piezoelectric force input to the Aeroservoelasticity modules in $ASTROS^*$. The results show that the developed controller can increase the flutter speed.

  • In this paper, a multi-band antenna with novel structure for mobile communications is designed and fabricated. The proposed antenna has the Multi-band antenna characteristics by two common-grounded slots with different size and angle. In order to reduce size and to enhance the gain of the antenna, a reflector is consisted of chokes on the three sides. It is optimized by using the CST Microwave Studio commercial software based on the FIA(Finite Integration Algorithm) and PBA(Perfect Boundary Approximation), and then the fabricating and measuring is practiced. As a result of measurement, the reflection coefficient is less than -11 dB(VSWR < 1.8) and the gain of antenna is more than 6dBi at 824~894MHz and 1885-2500MHz.

  • In this paper, we develop about glare phenomenon at security light caused by light source's straight characteristic, maintaining uniformity ratio of illuminance as high, have long light distribution not by symmetry of rotation but a single axis. we develop second lens for security light that lack of light distribution phenomenon at each of security light can be solved. Our developed light system design satisfies lighting standard of security light's and shape of lens is single lens. so our lens optimizes designing or analysis by using lighting design and interpretation program. Making a Mock-up to do real measure, we have intensity of illumination and maintaining uniformity ratio of illuminance measurement data.

  • This paper designed a very low profle, light and broadband internal antenna for operating at PCS, IMT-2000 and Wibro bands. The proposed antenna can be reduced the size by using shorting-pin and a broadband characteristic is obtained by using slit. It is optimized by using the CST Microwave Studio commercial software based on the FIA(Finite Integration Algorithm) and PBA(Perfect Boundary Approximation) and then fabricated and measured. As a result of measurement, the bandwidth(VSWR<2.5) is $40.8\;\%$ at $1.934\;\cal{GHz}$ and the size of antenna is 3$30\;\cal{mm}\times10\;\cal{mm}\times0.2\;\cal{mm}$.
