A Study on Enhancement Method of Hosting Capacity for PV System Based on Primary Feeder Reconfiguration (배전선로 절체에 의한 태양광전원의 수용성 향상방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the Korean government has implemented a policy to expand renewable energy sources. Large-scale PV systems are being actively interconnected with the distribution system. On the other hand, when a large-scale PV system is installed and operated, the customer voltages could violate the allowable voltage limit due to reverse power flow of the PV system. To overcome these problems, an enhancement method for hosting the capacity of the PV system in a distribution system is being actively conducted. Therefore, to improve the hosting capacity of the PV system, this paper proposes a model of a reconfiguration of the distribution system, which is composed of three sections and three connections based on PSCAD/EMTDC S/W, and proposes an evaluation algorithm for the feeder reconfiguration to maximize an adaption of the PV system. In addition, this paper presents the optimal method of the feeder reconfiguration section to evaluate the maximum capacity of the PV system to keep customer voltages within the allowable voltage limits based on various operation scenarios, such as the capacity of a PV system and section of feeder reconfiguration. From the simulation results based on the PSCAD/EMTDC modeling and evaluation algorithm, it was confirmed that they are a useful and practical tool to enhance hosting the capacity of a PV system in a distribution system.

  • As the electrical power industry is restructured, the electrical power exchange is becoming extended. One of the key information used to determine how much power can be transferred through the network is known as available transfer capability (ATC). To calculate ATC, traditional deterministic approach is based on the severest case, but the approach has the complexity of procedure. Therefore, novel approach for ATC calculation is proposed using cost-optimization method, well-being method and risk-benefit method in this paper. This paper proposes the optimal transfer capability of HVDC system between mainland and a separated island in Korea through these three methods. These methods will consider production cost, wheeling charge through HVDC system and outage cost with one depth (N-1 contingency).

  • The object of this paper is to optimize the battery system for supplying stably power in separate house in which a PV-wind hybrid power generation system is applied. In a power system to be used in a stand alone, it is very important to build optimize the electrical storage system and to utilize it for supplying stably output voltage when there is a shortage of the power generation capacity or there is no sunshine, or when power is to be supplied with a load. This paper provides an optimized method to evaluate capacity of battery by analyzing advantages and disadvantages of the existing battery evaluating method being used in each company for supplying stably power in separate house utilizing the new renewable energy such as a light of the sun.

  • In September 2016, the government decided to apply a REC 5.0 weighting to solar-battery ESS to increase the supply of renewable energy. In this paper, we calculated the optimal capacity of battery ESS which maximizes the revenue when solar is linked with battery ESS. In the case study, the optimal capacity was calculated by applying the conservative REC price, and we studied sensitivity analysis about battery price and real-time REC price.

  • In this paper, a software development for design of the small photovoltaic system which is used to LED lighting is presented. For optimal design of photovoltaic systems, the operating power consumption of the LED load is considered to estimate the capacity of the solar module and battery. In order to give system design engineers a high ease of use, the software tool provides a graphical user interface and monitoring function to check operation of the system prior to installation.

  • 본 논문에서는 장거리 초고압 송전선로에서의 단상재폐로시에 발생가능한 과전압과 2차아크전류를 EMTP를 이용하여 예측계산 하였다. 예측계산결과로부터 과전압을 억제하고 재폐로 동작이 가능한 최적의 중성점 리액터와 400 kV 급 수평배열 1회선 선로를 단상으로 재폐로 하는데 필요한 재폐로 무전압시간을 구하였다.

  • Generally, H.V.A.C load capacity in early planning phase can presume with maximum thermal load. Basic data can prove by air conditioning equipment system data analysis at existing building. There are poor and not reliable alternative presentation. In this paper, measured data after use H.V.A.C load calculation K-load program reply choosing standard building and variables simulation. And I founded peak load correlation graph and mode for several kinds of variable and contents of size. I wish that equipment designer is beaconed to produce optimum capacity at building as quantitative through this result.

  • 수중보는 하천, 하수관 또는 인공수로에 건기시 유지수량을 확보할 목적으로 설치되며 보통 10년 주기 내외의 평균 강우량에 맞추어 그 용량을 결정한다. 수처리를 위한 장치의 규모는 적정한 재현기간에 맞추어 설계하고, 재현기간을 초과하여 강우가 발생할 경우 강우 유입을 우회시켜 경제성을 확보할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 완충회전수문은 초과하는 수량을 우회 또는 통과시킬 목적으로 개발되었으며 기존 연구에서 실내 및 현장 실험 모형을 제작하여 여러 차례 실험을 토대로 한계수심 및 충격량을 이론적으로 산정하고 현장 적용성을 검증한 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 수문의 개 폐시 원형실린더에 부착되어 있는 날개의 길이 및 개수 변이에 따른 항력의 영향으로 충격량을 측정하여 현장에 보다 적합한 완충회전수문의 최적설계방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 스프레드시트를 기반으로 하는 Microsoft EXCEL의 VBA(Visual Bafor Application)를 이용하여, 빗물 유출수 관리가 필요한 지역을 결정하고, 해당 유역에 적용가능한 관리방안을 선정하며, 관리방안 적용에 따른 효과를 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 모형의 검보정이 완료된 SWAT 모형의 결과를 이용하였으며, 비구조적 관리방안은 모형의 매개변수 및 입력자료 수정을 통해 효과를 분석하였다. 구조적 관리방안은 각 관리방안의 최대 집수면적 및 각 오염물질 별 제거효율을 이용하여 관리방안 효과를 분석하였다. 각 관리방안의 설계규모는 최대 배수면적과 이를 바탕으로 산정된 수질처리용량으로부터 결정하였다.
