Segment lining is a key permanent lining structure to maintain the shield tunnel stability in shield tunnel operation. Moreover, segment lining generally accounts for the largest proportion in the shield tunnel construction costs. As a result, technical improvements to increase its economic feasibility have been actively carried out. This study aims to propose the development directions of high-performance segments from their recent cutting technologies. In addition, based on over 2,100 world-widely collected segment design data, a series of statistical analyses of segment key design parameters such as thickness, width and the number of divisions as well as segment materials were carried out to approximately estimate them in a design stage.

This study is focusing on factors influencing trust in power blogs, and the effect of trust on users' attitude and purchase intention. The research model is based on the theory of online trust formation process and content quality. The statistical analysis was conducted through the survey of 122 power blog users. Research findings show that scope, accuracy, uniqueness, links, quality of wring, and reputation of power blogs significantly affect trust. Also, trust was found to have a significant influence on the users' attitude and purchasing intention on products/services.

This study concerns DB quality of the Web databases which has been produced in medical science. For the quality evaluation of Embase and PubMed, 10 evaluating criteria were developed on the basis of literature review. The evaluation result showed that PubMed has superiority to the currentness, accuracy, completness, consistency, ease of use, customer support, searchability, cost, and network ＆ H/W on DB, but Embase has only superiority to the coverage. It is needed for purchasing, user training, and library service based on the above evaluation result.

To understand current status for the utilization of Korean military specifications(KDS) and other standards/specifications in munitions companies, we have surveyed 150 companies mainly related with electrical and electronic industry. Most of the companies have expected that the harmonization of KDS and KS would bring a positive effect on their business, especially from the point of quality control, productivity increase, the reduction of expenditure for standard management and so on. This survey result will help to build more user-friendly management system for KDS as well as KS.

Fingers are body parts with a complex structure and essential functions that are the most prone to trauma. The principle of treatment for finger fractures is to determine the balance between obtaining stable fracture fixation and early joint movement. Despite proper treatment, there are many cases of functional and cosmetic problems caused by stiffness or deformation as complications. This review article introduces the latest knowledge in the treatment of finger fractures focusing on fractures and dislocations around the interphalangeal joints, including joint surface damage, which is difficult to treat and leads to poor results. This article consists of fracture cases and describes the methods and solutions to address these complications.

The purpose of this study was to present a content curation strategy of the university library to support user learning and research. As a method to achieve the purpose of the study, first, the concept of content curation was examined through literature research. After that, implications were found by analyzing the cases of content curation services such as university libraries, national libraries, and content companies. As a result of the study, five strategies for successful content curation of university libraries were proposed: providing high quality contents, performing preemptive information service roles, keep content up to date, securing interactivity through user participation, and developing personalization algorithms.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the user satisfaction, royalty and compliant of a children's library Website. To achieve the aim of this study a modified Kim and Park's model of the user satisfaction index which consists of information quality, service quality, and system quality dimension is adopted. A total of 130 valid responses to the questionnaire were analysed using SPSS 18. It is found that the higher the user satisfaction gives the higher the royalty and the lower the compliant. For the contents quality dimension, the items of Usability, Accuracy, Easy of understand, Reliability and Up-to-date; for the service quality dimension, the items of Interface design, Reliability, Responsiveness, and Empathy; for the system quality dimension, the items of Response time, Interactive, Easy to access, and Easy to use show a significant relationships to the users' satisfaction.

Structural health monitoring (SHM) is a technique to diagnose an accurate and reliable condition of civil infrastructure by collecting and analyzing responses from distributed sensors. In recent years, aging civil structures have been increasing and they require further developed SHM technology for development of sustainable society. Wireless smart sensor and network technology, which is one of the recently emerging SHM techniques, enables more effective and economic SHM system in comparison to the existing wired systems. Researchers continue on development of the capability and extension of wireless smart sensors, and implement performance validation in various in-laboratory and outdoor full-scale experiments. This paper presents a summary of recent (mostly after 2010) researches on smart sensors, focused on the newly developed hardware, software, and validation examples of the developed smart sensors.

The purpose of this study was to elicit the priority of the index of the operation evaluation of the school library, and to present measures for improvement of the evaluation index that reflects the project sites. To this end, the school library evaluation index was analyzed by applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) analysis method to teacher librarians who are the representative personnel of the school library. According to the research, the priority of the upper tier evaluation areas was human resources, library services, information resources, library management, facilities and environment, and the priority of the lower tier evaluation items was human resource allocation, human resources expertise, reading education, information literacy education, efforts to activate education, book composition snowflake, the latest book, budget, facility access, book status, appropriateness of facilities and facilities, management plan, proximity accessibility, PR and marketing, school library steering committee, cooperation, use of materials current status. The conclusions drawn from this study could be used as basic data in the application of fieldworked school library assessment indicators.

As the aging society progresses and the functional cosmetics market is revitalized we have learned that the functional cosmetics that the silver generation is most interested in are wrinkle-improving products and we are making great efforts to develop functional cosmetics that improve wrinkles. The ingredients are actually making. From the early 2000s when the development of functional cosmetics began to the present the research trends of functional cosmetics for wrinkle improvement were analyzed by analyzing papers on functional cosmetics for wrinkle improvement. Research methods focused on literature search and SIRS paper search keywords. And the cosmetic material that needs to be researched focuses on the anti-aging function among functional cosmetics which is the anti-wrinkle function. The research results show the rapid growth of the Anti-aging market. As the population ages the generation of silver with high purchasing power will expand and a market for expensive anti-aging products and services for a healthy old age will be formed.
