Edutainment is the one of important factors to study interactive TV for children, and it is a big portion in kid's marketing and education market as well. The aim of this study is to design interactive TV for children to maximize edutainment effects by researching children's behaviors. The analysis of children's behaviors with educational effects should be focused to apply designing user experience to propose new ideas of interactive TV. Through observing children's behaviors and interaction with other media, such as books, CD players, digital camera, and so on, TV can be reanalyzed as reliable media, which is creative interactive TV for children with proposals of user experience structure and interaction solution. TV has been changed from analog TV to IPTV and it will be different with network and interactive solution.

This is a user experience study of factors that should be considered in designing home appliances experience service. Untact services are emerging, but the development of home appliances sector is in early stage. Based on the six factors of Stephen P. Anderson's Creating Pleasurable Interface Model, this study conducted surveys, 1:1 in-depth interviews, and participation observations to measure and analyze user experience. In this study, I compared 4060s and 2030s's user experience in that the untact services raise the digital alienation among middle-senior-aged. As a result, there were significant differences between the two, including the opposite satisfaction in terms of reliable, usable and pleasurable factors. I hope that this study will be of strategic help in designing future home appliance experience services.

Research on consumers' perception and willingness to purchase Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) is necessary to simulate BEVs' deployment in South Korea because South Korea's BEVs market is still in the early stage. This paper derives a theoretical framework for consumer segmentation based on consumers' willingness to purchase before and after BEV usage experience. In particular, this study empirically evaluates consumers' willingness to purchase and concerns using the survey data from BEVs users in either Seoul or the Jeju region. The empirical results from logit models show that experienced consumers' concerns about the heater and air conditioning (HAC) in BEVs decreased the consumers' willingness to buy, while greater daily driving distances increased the consumers' willingness to buy. In addition, the empirical findings from ordered probit models show that experienced consumers' concerns about the short driving distance, the availability of maintenance service (i.e., A/S service) during unexpected events, and the difficulties of driving BEVs up-hill increased the degree of concern about HAC. This paper will provide insights related to consumer segmentation, R&D, marketing strategies, and policy design for policymakers and firms.

As the game industry is steadily becoming the spotlight industry, the importance of user experience design in game industry is increasing. This study tried to approach game from the viewpoint of user experience design and aimed to analyze the onboarding process focusing on user accessibility and retention in an online game. First, through literature review, onboarding process was devided into three stages. Then each stages were analyzed into experience design, game design elements to derive the key UX factors. Second, based on the UX elements, the game experience and cognitive element analysis frame was presented. With this frame, five domestic online games were qualitatively analyzed and cognitive elements of each game's onboarding process were derived. Key cognitive factors in each stages were, selective attention in the discovery stage, working memory and active learning in the learning stage, and participation and motivation in the immersion stage. Finally, improvement direction were presented, focusing on the key cognitive factors. These studies highlight the importance of the user entry process in online games and suggests improvements to lower entry barriers.

장애학생들이 생활하는 특수학교의 경우 화재 발생빈도는 낮지만, 장애인은 초기 대응능력과 피난능력이 현저히 부족하므로 화재 발생 시 막대한 인명피해를 초래할 수 있다. 장애인의 안전한 피난을 위해서는 초기 소화설비와 피난에 필요한 경보설비, 피난설비의 설치 및 운영 그리고 피난보조자의 역할과 책임이 중요하기 때문에 특수학교를 대상으로 하여 소방시설의 설치 및 운영, 피난보조자의 화재안전의식에 대해 조사하였다. 그 결과 Fail-safe 원칙에 따라 2방향 이상의 피난이 가능해야 하지만 6개교 중 5개교가 평상시 안전을 이유로 비상구에 자물쇠를 채워 통행이 불가능하였고, 특수학교 교사들 중 피난시 교사들의 역할분담에 대해 54.2%가 모르고 있었으며, 피난보조자에 대해서도 64.5%가 모른다고 답하였다. 또한 소화기와 옥내소화전을 실제 사용해 본적 있는 교사는 각각 32.2%, 7.9%로 조사되어 화재발생시 초기소화를 담당해야 하는 교사들의 소화설비의 사용 경험이 부족한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구의 목적은 공항 세금 환급시스템의 혁신적 특성과 중국인 탑승객의 개인 통제신념이 수용 의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 계획된 행동이 세금환급을 받으려는 의도에 미치는 영향에 대해 이론적으로 고찰하고 분석하였다. 공항에서 세금환급시스템을 이용한 경험이 있는 중국인 탑승객 343명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 실증 분석 결과, 시스템 혁신적 특성에서 상대적 이점, 적합성 및 복잡성이 높고, 인식된 위험이 낮을수록, 개인 통제신념에서 행동신념, 규범신념 및 통제신념이 높을수록 이용자의 수용의도가 높은 것으로 판명되었다. 이용자 채택 단계에 따른 수용 의도 간의 차이를 분석한 결과, 초기 수용자 집단이 후기 수용자 집단보다 수용 의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이용자의 채택 단계에 따라 수용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 차이가 있었는데, 초기 수용자 집단에서는 시스템 혁신적 특성 중 적합성과 개인 통제신념이 중요한 변수였으며, 후기 수용자 집단에서는 시스템 혁신 특성 중 인식된 위험과 규범신념을 제외한 개인의 통제신념이 중요한 변수로 분석되었다. 따라서 공항 세금 환급시스템에 대한 초기 수용자들에게는 더 많은 확신을 줄 필요가 있으며, 후기 수용자들에게는 지각된 위험을 감소시켜 주어야 할 것이다.

정보통신기술(ICT - Information and Communications Technology)의 발달, 정부와 민간의 스타트업 발굴 및 투자 규모의 확대로 인해 혁신적인 아이디어를 기반으로 우수한 성과를 창출하는 스타트업들이 증가하고 있다. 이를 롤모델로 삼고 창업을 준비하는 예비 창업자들도 지속적으로 증가하고 있으나, 성공을 경험으로 연쇄창업을 도전하는 창업자와 달리 초기 스타트업들은 팀원 채용, 기술 개발, 자금 유치 등 다양한 문제에 직면하게 된다. 엑셀러레이터는 스타트업들이 직면하게 되는 다양한 문제 해결을 돕기 위해 교육, 멘토링, 컨설팅, 네트워크 연계, 초기 투자 등의 활동을 통해 스타트업이 성장할 수 있도록 멘토와 투자자의 역할을 동시에 수행한다. 본 연구의 목적은 스타트업의 특성과 창업성과과 어떠한 상관관계를 가지고 있는가를 조사하고, 엑셀러레이터의 역할이 스타트업의 창업성과에 매개역할을 하는지 분석 하는데 있다. 최근 국내에서는 다시 벤처 붐이 일어나고 있으며, 유니콘 기업의 양적 질적 증가, 정부 지원을 통한 초기 스타트업의 성과 등 창업생태계에서 의미 있는 지표들을 볼 수 있다. 스타트업의 성과와 관련된 지표들은 직/간접적으로 엑셀러레이터와 관련이 있으나, 그동안 국내에서 창업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 스타트업의 창업가의 기업가정신이나 창업가의 역량을 기반으로 주로 연구하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스타트업의 특성으로 대표되는 독립변수 혁신성, 조직 문화, 재무적 특성, 네트워크 지향성과 학습지향성이 종속변수인 창업성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 검증하며 매개변수인 엑셀러레이터의 역할의 효과를 확인하고자 한다.

최근까지의 국내외 투자 의사결정 요인을 살펴보면 주로 벤처캐피탈리스트 투자 성공 요인이 연구되어 왔다. 하지만, 2018년 이후 폭발적으로 증가한 투자 자금과, 우수한 스타트업의 성장으로 인해, 기업가들의 투자 거절 사례가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 따라서 투자자는 우수한 스타트업에 투자하기 위해 어떤 조건에서 투자를 거절당하는지 인지해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 주로 초기 창업자들에게 투자하는 국내외 벤처캐피탈리스트 7명을 인터뷰 하여 거절된 투자의 요인을 살펴보고, 우수한 스타트업 투자 유치를 위한 방향을 제시하려고 한다. 연구 결과 최근 3년 이내 투자자들은 잦은 투자 거절 경험을 하였으며, 기업가의 투자사 거절 요인은 1) 투자자의 낮은 산업 전문성, 2) 투자자의 낮은 장기 지향성이다. 먼저, 기업가는 많은 투자 기회를 인식하며, 과거와 달리 비재무적 조건에 비중을 두는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 투자 기업의 전문성은 특히 기술 스타트업에서 많이 발견되며, 투자자가 피투자기업이 속한 산업의 기술적 이해가 낮을수록 투자가 거절될 수 있으며, 투자 목적의 경우, 투자사가 제시하는 투자의 목적이 장기 지향성이 낮을수록 투자가 거절될 수 있다. 이는 스타트업의 대표와 투자사의 상호성에도 부정적인 영향을 주기 때문이다. 따라서 초기 기술 기업에 투자하는 투자사일수록 투자사가 보유하고 있는 산업전문성과 일치하는 스타트업에 투자를 제안해야 하며, 초기 기술 기업의 기업가는 높은 기업 애착도가 있음으로, 스타트업과 컨텍하는 단계에서부터 투자사의 투자 성향에 대해 끊임없이 알리며, 장기지향적인 투자를 제안해야 한다.

Ductility-based seismic design is strongly required for the rational and cost-effective design of RC piers, and a reliable evaluation of shear strength is indispensable for its success. Unlike the flexural behavior of RC columns, shear behavior is highly complex, due to its many effects such as size, aspect ratio, axial force, ductility and so on. To address this, many design and empirical equations have been proposed considering these effects. However, these equations show significant differences in their evaluation of the initial shear strength, and the reduction in strength with the increase of ductility. In this study, the characteristics of initial shear strength of hollow sectional columns were investigated using experiments with the parameters of aspect ratios, void ratios, web area ratios and load patterns. The test results were analyzed through a comparison with the values predicted by empirical equations. On the basis of the mechanical characteristics and test results, a new empirical equation was proposed, and its validity was assessed.

Pyoderma gangrenosum associated with ulcerative colitis is an unknown etiology of destructive skin disorder, characterized by progressive painful ulceration. It begins as a erythematous areola or pustule and rapidly progress into a deep ulceration with a discrete and violaceous edge. Early diagnosis followed with non-compressive moist dressing, topical application and systemic immunosuppressants are cornerstone in treating this disease. We report a case of pyoderma gangrenosum exacerbated with incision and drainage in a 15 year old girl with ulcerative colitis. This case emphasizes the importance of early consideration of pyoderma gangrenosum in patient with a background of related systemic disease and minimal traumatized wound care.
