Internet Service Quality has been constantly the center of attention to Internet Service Providers. The KII project plan (Korea Information Infrastructure) aims to build broadband backbone networks mainly through optical fiber cables and ATM switches and to Provide the government ministries, local authorities and non-profit organizations with high-speed, highly capable broadband access to these networks at reasonable rates. The KB service model, however, is different from other Internet Service models much in the same way SP (Service Provider) and NP (Network Provider) differ from each other. In this paper, we evaluate KII service according to various customer satisfaction indicators under the methodologies and categories as put forth in both the ACSI (American Customer Satisfaction Index) and SEM (Structural Equation Model). We use a structural equation model (SEM) to demarcate the Korea Information Infrastructure Customer Satisfaction Index (KIICSI) in relation to network service quality. The results of our study suggest some strategies for the KII Project need to be modified and effectively implemented in order to increase the satisfaction level of the KII customers.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the profitability of expanding the high-speed internet network and provide the strategy and policy for the government and telecommunication providers to fill the information gaps in rural areas. First, we analyzed the situation where the accessibility of high-speed internet networks is deficient and reasons why it is slow to build the communication network infrastructure in the remote agricultural and fishing areas. Then economic analysis was performed to find out how much it cost to make it possible for every village of rural areas to access the high-speed internet network as well as sensitivity analysis.

현재 각 국가별로 추진 중인 초고속 정보통신망은 지금까지 전화, 데이터, CATV 등 서비스별 특성에 따라 구축되어온 개별 망들을 대용량 전송, 광대역 교환, 고도지능형 관리 기술을 바탕으로 통합하고, 이들 개별 망에서 제공하고 있는 서비스들은 물론 미래에 예상되는 멀티미디어 서비스들도 효과적으로 수용하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 가능하기 위하여 모든 초고속 정보통신망은 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode)기술을 기반으로 하고 있다. 이에 따라 최근에는 ATM기반 초고속 정보통신망 자원을 효율적으로 운용, 관리하는 방안이 통신망 사업자의 주요 관심사로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATM통신망에서의 자원 관리의 범주를 단순한 대역폭 할당 뿐 아니라 효율적인 자원관리를 위해 기본적인 트래픽 제어 등으로 폭넓게 고려하여 ATM 망자원 분배를 위한 다양한 접근 방법들을 분석하였다.

해양수산부는 2019년에 초고속해상무선통신망(LTE-M) 구축을 완료하고 초고속통신을 활용한 다양한 해상 서비스 제공을 위한 기반을 마련하였다. LTE-M 통신망 구축과 함께 해상통신을 위한 송수신기와 사용자 서비스를 위한 표시장치를 개발하여 선박의 안전운항 및 해양활동을 위한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. LTE-M 송수신기는 육상으로부터 100km 거리까지 LTE 기반의 원거리 통신을 지원하기위한 핵심 통신장비이다. 본 연구는 일정 규모 이상의 선박에만 적용되던 LTE-M 송수신기의 활용 범위를 소형선박, 해양드론, 항공기 등의 다양한 분야로 확대하기 위한 LTE-M 송수신기(무선설비) 개발을 목적으로 하고 있다. 각각의 환경특성을 고려한 송수신기를 개발하고 성능을 시험하였으며 활용 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 해상에서도 육상과 같은 다양한 분야에 초고속통신 서비스를 이용할 수 있기를 기대한다.

This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. We have tested quality measurement test for VoIP/MoIP, VoD, IPTV services and analyzed the level of QoS and QoS degradation by constructing test laboratory consisted of 46 subscribers which provided by 3 telecom operators. Besides, We propose QoS Model to apply for BcN application based on analysis result and prove proposed model by constructing test lab in KOREN environment. It is expected that telecom will use this results as a valuable information to construct All-IP network based on NGN(NGN:Next Generation Network).This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. IP (internet Protocol) 멀티캐스트는 인터넷 망에서 다수에 사용자에서 전달되는 중복 데이터를 보다 효율적으로 전송 하기 위한 기술이다 IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force)에서는 멀티캐스트 기술을 적용하기 위한 연구 및 표준화 작업을 지속적으로 해왔고 이동 단말의 멀티캐스트 적용을 위하여 Bi-directional Tunneling과 Remote Subscription의 방식을 제안 하였다. 하지만 이러한 기존의 유/무선 기반의 멀티캐스트 기술은 일반적인 IP망의 기반으로 제안된 방식이고 차세대 초고속 휴대 인터넷의 국내 표준인 HPI (High-speed Portable Internet)망에서 효율적인 멀티캐스트 패킷 전송을 위하여 HPI망 내부에서 단말의 이동성을 고려한 효율적인 멀티캐스트 기법이 필요하다. 특히 HPI의 경우 내부적으로 2계층 기반의 패킷 전송이 이루어지기 때문에 멀티캐스트를 위한 추가적인 2계층 프로토콜을 정의하여 멀티캐스트를 지원하여야 한다.

ATM 기술에 기반을 둔 광대역통신망의 구축과 실용화가 추진되면서 기존의 인터넷이나 패켓망에서와 마찬가지로 ATM 망을 통해 전송되는 정보에 대한 보안 요구사항이 제기되게 되었고, 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 ATM 포럼에서는 보안 작업그룹을 설립하여 ATM 보안 규격 개발작업을 수행하고 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 ATM 포럼에서 추진되고 있는 ATM 보안규격 개발작업의 현황과 지금가지 연구 개발된 ATM 보안 규격의 주요 내용을 소개한다.

지역적으로 널리 분산되어있는 여러 생산지로 부터 원격으로 제조활동의 현황을 원격 및 실시간으로 감시하고 통제 및 관리하는 시스템을 초고속통신망을 이용해 구축하고 이에대한 시제품을 개발하는 것이 본 연구의 최종 목표이다. 본 논문에서는 원격감시 및 검사기술, 원격생산정보취합 및 추적기술, 원격 데이터베이스 설계 및 운영기술, 단말 및 망접속기술등에 대하여 설계하고 시제품 구현에 대한 방법을 소개한다.
