An Implementation of Web-based Instructional Design System for University Instructors (대학교수자용 웹기반 수업설계 시스템)

  • The purpose of this investigation was to help university professors for making their systematic design of instruction easily and scientifically. To increase of learner's studying ability, the systemic instructional design is imperative. But most of university professors could not get proper experiences to know develop instructional design system, specially to develop web-based system. This new system made it possible to select the proper instructional methods and the media type suitable for the corresponding data. And also every professor who is involved to know this system, can put informations for the target learners, learning contents and learning objectives, and present the proper media types and the many different conditions in the process of the each instructional design process. Finally, the results of the learner's study will be effective and professors showed their positive opinions for the using of the system.

The Effect of Instruction for 'Family Life Planning' based on Backward Design on Learners' Understanding and Satisfaction (백워드 수업설계를 적용한 '가족생활 설계' 영역 수업이 학습자의 이해도 및 수업만족도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to conduct the instruction for 'Family Life Planning' based on backward design and measured the learners' understanding and satisfaction for testing validity. In short, the result of this study are as follows: In this study, first of all, the students could explain significant concepts, knowledge, and principles for the planning of family life; they could interpret and apply them; they have perspectives on them; they could empathize them; and they could have self-knowledge. The students could also accomplish high achievements for important concepts related to the field of family life planning. In conclusion, this study showed that the developed instruction was very effective for the students to achieve fruitful results, accelerating the learners' persistent understanding. Second, the learners had high satisfaction on the instruction of Family Life Planning based on backward design with the average score of 3.68 out of the perfect score 4. The students could be satisfied with the developed instruction since they could have high interest in the class thanks to diverse learning materials, and they could take an active part in the learning tasks based on group activities and questions. Also they could apply the contents that they learned through task performances to new situation and context. Therefore, this study proved that the developed instruction enhanced the learners' satisfaction on class.

Development of Instructional Design Model for Smart Education (스마트교육 수업 설계 모형 개발)

  • The smart education recognized new educational paradigm is going to be introduced in earnest in the field from 2015. We develop the instructional design model for smart education to be able to provide a guide to design the instruction which has a speciality compared to current instruction. Furthermore, we did an expert assessment to recognize the validation and applicability of developed instructional design model and then apply this model to the field. As a result, we drew a positive conclusion for this instructional design model, which provides a base of systemic instructional design in smart education environment and focuses on expanding the ability of students living on 21st century. We expect that this study will be useful for teachers in the field who perform the smart education.

  • 우리나라 전문대학은 1979년 설립당시에 비하여 괄목할 만한 양적 성장을 이루었으나 그에 비해 질적 성장과 위상의 정립은 아직 미흡한 설정이다. 산업사회에 맞추어 설계된 전문대학 교육제도는 지식기반사회에 맞는 인적자원개발 기능과 사명을 다할 수 있도록 재 설계되어야 한다. 따라서 획일화된 수업연한과 계속교 육체제의 미완성이라는 구조적 문제를 개혁해야만 하여야 할 시점이다. 수업연한은 다양한 전공과 사회의 수요에 맞추어 $2{\sim}3$년 범위안에서 다양하게 선택적으로 운영되어야 하고 단절된 학제를 연결시킬 수 있는 전공심화 과정이나 시니어보케이셔널칼리지(SVC) 제도를 도입하여 국민기본공통교육 10년 이후에 2+2(3)+2(1) +2 체제로 이어지는 순환형 직업교육체제를 구축하여야 한다.

  • 학교현장은 평균 43명의 과밀학급(인천광역시 연수고등학교 2학년)으로, 컴퓨터실에서 교사는 학생들을 관리하기 위해 학생 PC의 전원 끄는 경우가 있다. 교사는 학생의 컴퓨터를 감시하여 수업과 관련 없는 웹(web) 사이트를 방문하는 학생들의 수업 이외의 장난을 막으면서 학생들에게 수업해야 하기 때문이다. 그러나 학생은 이러한 방식에 반발심을 사거나 학생들의 학습 의욕을 떨어트리는 요인으로 작용한다고 본다. 또한 컴퓨터실 수업에서 일반적으로 교사는 "바쁜 교사"이다. 제한된 시간에 학습자 개인의 흥미나 욕구를 반영하여 개별 학습자의 능력 혹은 수준에 맞추어 수업의 내용의 내용과 속도를 다르게 가르치는 개별지도가 불가능하다. 현실이 이렇다 보니 컴퓨터라는 정보화 기기를 활용한 수업이 효율적으로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 학습 초기에 개별학습을 하면서 학습 진행에 어려움을 격을 시 학생과 학생사이에 다양한 상호작용을 촉진시키도록 협력학습 체제를 구축하고 학생들의 학습을 모니터링하면서 학생 또는 협력학습 모둠이 문제 해결에 어려움이 처한 경우나 실패한 경우 교사의 개별지도가 가능하게 할 수 있는 실시간 협력학습 체제를 설계하였다.

  • This study has been pointed out that Information Communication Ethics Education has been mentioned only about a cognitive factor. Then the purpose of this study is verify the effects through the Instructional design of Information Communication Ethics that was compensate the problem. To achieve this, it was included all the cognitive, emotional and active factor of Integrated Character by Thomas Lickona. It has been modified that Information Communication Ethics Test of Lee Chae Young(2009) to be included all the factors of Integrated Character to verify the designed instruction. It has been designed that each steps included the component of Integrated Character using Gerlach & Ely systematic instruction model then, the designed instruction has been applied to the secondary school and verified the effectiveness. As a result, it has been proved that Experimental group is more effective than Control group.

  • 현재 웹 코스웨어의 대부분은 하이퍼텍스트 문서들간의 비선형적인 연결에 의한 학습 방식을 채택하고 있으나, 이는 단순한 페이지 링크형 학습으로서 그리 커다란 교육 효과를 발휘하기에는 어렵다는 한계를 맞이하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 다중 학습자가 동기적으로 참여하는 시뮬레이션 게임 방식은 웹 코스웨어의 현재 한계를 뛰어넘을 수 있는 하나의 교수·학습 모델이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다중 학습자가 동기적으로 참여하는 시뮬레이션 게임 방식의 웹 코스웨어에 대한 수업 모델을 제안하고 있다. 이 수업 모델은 Atkinson의 체제적 접근 방식의 게임 설계, Alessi와 Trollip의 시뮬레이션의 구조와 절차, Reigeluth와 Schwartz의 시뮬레이션에서의 학습자 역할에 대한 분석 연구를 기반으로 설계하였다.

Design and Implementation of an educational simulator for disk scheduling algorithms (디스크 스케줄링 알고리즘을 위한 교육용 시뮬레이터의 설계 및 구현)

  • Operating Systems is a discipline which handles complex and abstract concepts related to its components and the principles of how an operating system works. However, most of the OS courses have been textbook-oriented theoretical classes. For students who are familiar with various kinds of media, theoretical classes lead to a decline in the understanding of a lecture and difficulty concentrating. They have tried to make use of educational tools to help students understand a lecture and arouse their interests consistently. This paper describes the design and implementation of a disk scheduling simulator which shows the service processes of disk I/O requests visually. The disk scheduling simulator can be used for demonstrations of the disk scheduling algorithms. The results of the academic achievement evaluation and survey showed that a disk scheduling simulator is useful as an educational tool which causes the interests about operating systems and enhances the understanding of a lecture.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a web-based page replacement simulator which shows the process of page replacement algorithms visually. The academic achievement evaluation and t-test results for 2010's students and 2011's show that the differences of the correct answer ratios for the exam about page replacement algorithms and the scores between two groups are meaningful. And the results of survey show that a page replacement simulator is useful as an educational tool which causes the interests about operating systems and enhances the understanding of a lecture.
