  • 지하수 관측이란 지하수위 하강, 수질오염 등 지하수 장해로부터 지하수를 보전 관리하고 대책을 수립하기 위하여 정기적 및 장기적으로 지하수위, 수질 등 부존된 지하수 특성의 상태와 변화하는 추이를 관찰하여 측정하는 행위를 말한다. 지하수는 지하의 보이지 않는 지층구조에서 매우 천천히 유동하므로 수위하강 및 수질오염 발생을 늦게 인지할 경우 원상회복이 불가능할 수 있고, 지하수 장해를 인지한 이후의 대처과정에서도 기존의 관측자료가 없거나 부족할 경우에는 원인분석과 대책수립이 지연되거나 불가능할 수 있으므로 지하수관리에 있어 관측정호를 설치하고 정기적으로 지하수의 부존 및 유동특성, 배경수질 등의 지하수 관측은 기본적이며 필수적인 요소이다. 따라서 지하수 관측망을 설치하고 운영하기 위해서는 관측 목적을 명확히 정의하고 관측 프로그램이 이를 만족시키도록 구성되어야하며 시간적, 공간적으로 지하수가 변동되는 것을 고려하여 관측 지역 대수층의 유형과 특성 등이 완전히 파악되어야 한다. 필요시 기존 관정을 활용하여 관측하며 관측 항목, 관측 유형, 위치측량 및 관측 주기 등은 관측의 목적에 부합되도록 한다. 관측 데이터의 생성, 전송 및 분석 진행과정 등이 완벽하게 정립되어 데이터의 생성에서부터 활용까지 체계화되어야 하고 지하수와 지표수는 연계된 단일 수자원으로서 지하수 관측은 지표수 관측과 연계되어 설계되고 분석되어야 한다. 또한 취득된 데이터의 정확성은 지속적으로 검토 확인되어야 하며 전문가의 능력을 활용하여 관련 자료의 분석이 이루어지고 데이터의 정도를 높이기 위한 후속조치들이 병행되어야 한다. 그리고 지하수위, 수질 등 관측 자료가 자연적인 지하수 유동 체계에 의하여 변화되는 것이라고 인식될 경우에는 관측 시스템 전반을 재평가하여 보다 효율적인 관측 시스템으로 발전시켜야 한다.

Application of Optimal Control Techniques to SWATH Motion Control (반잠수 쌍동선의 최적 운동제어기 설계)

  • This paper presents a derailed application procedure of the linear quadratic(LQ) theory for a SWATH heave and pitch control. A time domain model of coupled, linear time-invariant second order differential equations is derived from the frequency response model with the frequency dependent added mass and damping approximated as constant values at the heave natural frequency. Wave exciting forces are modeled as a sum of sinusoids. A systematic selection procedure of state and control weighting matrices is presented to obtain good transient behavior and acceptable fin movement. The validity of this controller design process is throughly investigated by simulations both in time domain and frequency domain and singular value plots of transfer function matrices. The finally designed control system shows good overall performances revealing that the applicability of the present study is proved successful.

  • The asset management of infra facilities is a total framework for finally supporting a safe and comfortable service, which includes functions of supporting evaluation of condition and performance of infrastructures, making the decision method of repair or rehabilitation of deteriorated facilities, and lengthening the life cycle of structure through the decision of adequate cost and time of repair or reinforcement. In the range of the asset management, organization, human, the target, and information & data of company are included. Therefore, in this paper, appling the method of asset management analysis to the infra structures, the process of the risk assesment using BRE (Business Risk Exposure) and the basis of consisting ORDM (Optimized Renewal Decision-Making) are expressed.

A Study on the Optimal Search Keyword Extraction and Retrieval Technique Generation Using Word Embedding (워드 임베딩(Word Embedding)을 활용한 최적의 키워드 추출 및 검색 방법 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose the technique of optimal search keyword extraction and retrieval for news article classification. The proposed technique was verified as an example of identifying trends related to North Korean construction. A representative Korean media platform, BigKinds, was used to select sample articles and extract keywords. The extracted keywords were vectorized using word embedding and based on this, the similarity between the extracted keywords was examined through cosine similarity. In addition, words with a similarity of 0.5 or higher were clustered based on the top 10 frequencies. Each cluster was formed as 'OR' between keywords inside the cluster and 'AND' between clusters according to the search form of the BigKinds. As a result of the in-depth analysis, it was confirmed that meaningful articles appropriate for the original purpose were extracted. This paper is significant in that it is possible to classify news articles suitable for the user's specific purpose without modifying the existing classification system and search form.

  • 국내 금강유역의 경우 충남 서부와 북부지역을 중심으로 강수량 부족과 가뭄이 빈번히 발생하는 것으로 보고되며, '14년에도 강수량이 부족하였고, '15년에는 제한급수에 돌입하는 등 가뭄 피해가 최대 3년에 걸쳐 다년 발생하였다. 가뭄 발생 시 댐은 가뭄 대응단계별 용수공급조정기준에 따라 생공용수 여유량, 하천유지용수, 농업용수, 생공용수 순으로 감량 후 운영된다. 이중 하천유지용수는 수 생태계 및 하천과 관련이 있는 다양한 자연 자원의 보호와 보전을 위해 하천에 남아 흘러야 하는 물로 정의되며, 환경 및 생태계에 관한 중요성이 커짐에 따라 가뭄 시에도 하천이 유수의 정상적인 기능과 상태 유지를 위해 필요한 용수이다. 용수공급조정 기준은 지금까지 총 5차례 개정되었으며, 가장 최근인 '19년에는 가뭄 주의단계시 하천유지 용수 감량기준을 기존 하천유지용수 "100% 감량"에서 "최대 100% 감량"으로 개정되었다. 이를 통해 다양한 의사결정이 가능해졌지만, 한편으로는 구체적인 기준이 제시되지 않아 이해당사자 간 상호 협의를 통해 감량(주로 50%)하는 실정이다. 이러한 상호 협의의 과정은 다양한 이해당사자들의 의사를 반영할 수 있는 과정이긴 하지만 수자원의 부족은 직접적으로 주민들에게 심각한 피해로 이어지기에 보다 정교하고 합리적인 기준의 설정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 의사결정 과정에 활용할 수 있는 하천유지용수 최적 감량 방안을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 방안은 각 이해당사자의 향후 체계적인 의사결정을 위해 근거를 제공하는 것이 목표이다. 이를 위해, 하천유지용수의 공급에 따른 편익과 가뭄 위험도 간의 관계를 규명하고, 관계에 따른 하천유지용수 감량 정도에 따른 피해를 추정한다.

  • The expressway is a key area of road networks for national industry, economics and social development. In addition, the number of lines are increasing continuously. Recently, road management policy have shown a paradigm shift to safe road, low-carbon and green etc. Nevertheless, the road condition has deteriorated dramatically by fatigue cracking, thermal cracking and weather impact. On the other hand, the budgets for highway maintenance have shrunk dramatically. In this study, an effective pavement management and maintenance process was developed to extend the pavement serviceability and pavement life to overcome the rack of budgets.

  • This paper outlines a systematic guideline for remanufacturing process using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method in order to estimate the reliability and quality of the remanufactured alternator. The method is just a tool to help, but the remanufacturer must determine the optimal remanufacturing process and specific inspection and production that will turn the alternator as-good-as new and place the product into the market with reliability and quality equal to a new product. FMEA is a method that is widely used in industry and has shown its value and effectiveness in the above remanufacturing case study. Actions taken often result in a lower severity, occurrence or detection rating. Redesign may result in lower severity and occurrence ratings while inserting validation controls and maintenance can reduce the detection rating. The revised ratings are recorded with the originals on the FMEA template form. After these corrective actions and revisions have been established, evaluation of the ranks can be repeated, until the redesign and control parameters comply with safety standards.

  • Recently, the Open-Development-Tool-Environment becomes a basic requirement of RTOS (Real Time Operating System) for embedded systems with restricted memory and CPU power in order to develop applications effectively. A remote interactive shell is one of the basic software components which makes users develop, test and control softwares without burdening target systems. In this paper, we have implemented the remote interactive shell with the following functions : loading object modules, spawning and manipulating tasks facilities thru a remote host. Comparing information reference methods with nonredundant overhead, we have achieved the system with easy maintenance. The shell has been developed with Q-PLUS RTOS under ARM EBSA285 target board and NT host.

  • Given the daily tactical schedule, the purpose of the traffic management system is to develop operating plan that will achieve the stated schedule as best as possible. The operating plan has to be modified during the day because of occurring disturbance(e.g. delay, infrastructure breakdown, etc.) Conflict detection and resolution(CDRS) are aimed for adjusting the distorted schedule to tactical schedule. Our research separate CDRS into two hierarchy modules, line conflict control module and station conflict control module. We define the role of each modules and design the cooperative architecture. We suggest the conflict detection and resolution approach based on mathematical model. These results can be implemented as prototype modules.

  • The number of solar power installation companies including domestic small scale (50kW or less) is increasing rapidly, but the efficient operation system and management are insufficient. Therefore, a new type of operating system is needed as a maintenance management aspect to maximize the generation amount in the current state rather than the additional function which causes the increase of the generation cost. In this paper, we utilize Big Data and sensor network to maximize the operating efficiency of solar power plant and analyze the expert system to develop power generation prediction technology, module unit fault detection technology, life prediction of inverter components and report technology, maintenance optimization And to develop a smart monitoring system that enables optimal operation of photovoltaic power plants such as development of algorithms and economic analysis.
