A Study for Reliability Improvement of Belt Type Door System using FMECA (FMECA 적용을 통한 벨트식 도어시스템 신뢰성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • As a modem urban train is getting complex in terms of high-technology in its systems and components, the failure management should be performed with scientific and systematic technique. FMEA is a technique to analyze the failure trends of component parts and influences to the higher level system in order to discover the design incompleteness and potential defects, which is for improving reliability. Especially, FMECA (Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is used in case that the criticality that has an immense influence to the system is important. In case of urban train, in its design and manufacturing steps, FMEA is frequently used as an analysis technique to meet the safety objectives and eliminate potential hazards/failures since the concepts of reliability of train is introduced these days. Though, FMEA technique in the maintenances steps lacks in its investigation and applications yet. FMEA is also not applied to the trains operated by Seoul metro in the design and manufacture steps excepts the newest trains. In this paper, through analyzing the failures/maintenance data of the belt-type door systems used in trains operated in Seoul metro Line 1, which is accumulated in RIMS (Rolling-stock Information Maintenance System), FMEA procedures to the belt-type door engines are proposed. Especially, an effort is made, to approach the detailed FMECA procedures to the door magnet valve and switch and door engine devices which vastly influences the customer safety and satisfaction.

A Plan to Provide Effective Risk Map Information by Linking a 3D Disaster Information Display System with an On-site Assistance Application (3D 재해 정보 표출시스템과 현장 지원 APP간의 연계를 통한 효과적인 Risk Map 정보제공 방안)

  • The increase in frequency and scale of natural disasters is the typical negative examples of the global climate change and the change of the human living environment in cities. The damage caused by natural disasters in particular including human and physical damage is directly linked to the safety and properties of citizens. Besides, the damage may occur to SOC facilities directly or indirectly. The SOC facilities damaged by disasters cause infringement of citizens safety rights. Therefore, a plan to provide prompt and effective risk map information by linking a 3D disaster information display system, which handles the information of the damage that may occur to SOC facilities such as bridges, beams, and dams at the time of disasters, with an on-site assistance application is suggested in this study. The prompt provision of risk map information is defined as a dynamic expression technology in this study. Also, disaster information is processed and compressed with a module developed to be linked organically to a system that displays disaster information, a proliferation system that can use the information on site, and a DB system that constructs a relationship with the information. Based on the module, the effective disaster information compression plan will be prepared, and the prompt information transmission system will be secured in the future.

  • As the importance of big data analysis increases to improve the competitiveness of a corporate, a unified big data project development methodology is required in order to study the problem of a corporate in a systematic way and evaluate the problem w.r.t. a business value after solving the problem. This paper propose Scientific Data Anslysis and Development methodology(SDAD) which are integrated methodology of software development and project management for easier application into a field project. SDAD consisits of 6 stages(problem definition stage, data preparation stage, model design stage, model development stage, result extraction stage, service development state), each stages has detailed processes(47) and productions(93). SDAD, furthermore, unified previous ISP, DW, SW development methodologies in terms of the data analysis and can easily interchange the productions with them. This paper, lastly, introduces a way to assign responsible persons for each process and provide communication procedures in RACI chart to improves the efficiency of the interaction among professionals from different subjects. SDAD is applied to a Bigdata project in Korea Employment Information Services institution and the result turned out to be acceptable when evaluated by the supervision.

Development of PDA-Based Software for Forest Geographic Information (PDA기반의 산림지리정보 소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study was done to develop PDA based application system for forest geographic information with GPS. The major results obtained in this study were as follows. A PDA based application program was developed to work on $Microsoft^{TM}$ PocketPC 2002 and 2003 operating system. The screen of PDA displays a 1:25,000 digital topographical map adopted DXF format converted from PC, and the map data with 1:2,500 to 1:30,000 on PDA can be zoomed in or out to five levels. Current position and navigating path received from GPS can be displayed on the screen and be saved in PDA. Information selected among layers of digital topographic map in DXF format can be converted into binary files which can be used on forest geographic information software. This can compress DXF files to 90% in size, and the processing speed of PDA was improved. The forest geographic information management system can be used to manage sample plots on which forest inventory is done, with the help of the sub-menus and grid index values with position information received from GPS. Forest workers can in quire forest geographic information such as forest type, location, forest roads, soil erosion control dams using forest geographic information management system in the field. The forest geographic information management system can provide current position and mobile path information to people who enjoy forest related activities like mountain-climbing, sightseeing, and visiting to historic spots.

UCI Embedder: A Real-time Broadcast-Content-Identifier Watermarking System for Broadcast Content Distribution Services (방송콘텐츠 유통서비스를 위한 실시간 콘텐츠식별자 은닉삽입 시스템)

  • We introduce the standard content identifier Universal Content Identifier (UCI) and a watermarking system that embeds UCI for the broadcast content distribution services. Our proposed UCI embedder is designed in consideration of integrating with the previously established broadcast system and protecting the illegal distribution of broadcast contents. Our goal is that when broadcast content is transmitted, 28 byte UCI is embedded imperceptibly in the content itself in real-time and the embedded UCI is successfully extracted not only in the typical format used in the broadcast content distribution service but also in the illegally distributed broadcast contents. Usually the illegally distributed contents are modified from the original by changing resolutions, frame rates, or adjusting colors. In this paper, we present a watermarking scheme that embeds 28 byte UCI in broadcast content in real-time while keeping the visual quality high and the embedded watermark robust enough to survive through the various modification. The experimental results show that the embedded UCI remains in the various modified versions of content and that the visual degradation by embedding is not noticeable.

The Effects of Smart Factory Technologies on Quality and Innovation Performance in SMEs (중소벤처기업의 스마트팩토리 기술적용이 품질과 혁신성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is empirically intended to look into the effects of smart factory technologies on quality and innovation performance in small and medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs). The research results are as follows. Device and application technologies for smart factory had a positive effect on the information quality and system quality, while platform technologies had an insignificant effect on the information quality and system quality, rejecting the effect of platform technologies for smart factory on information quality and system quality. Device technologies for smart factory had also a significant effect on innovative performance, while platform and application technologies had an insignificant effect on innovative performance, rejecting the effect of platform and application technologies for smart factory on innovative performance. The system quality had a significant effect on innovative performance, while the information quality had an insignificant effect on innovative performance. The quality played a partial mediating role in the effect of device technologies for smart factory on innovative performance. These results indicate that small and medium-sized venture firms should implement a high standard of information quality management(IQM) through interconnection as the kernel of a smart factory in the 4th revolutionary era, and that they can improve their corporate performance through the interlocking between components from manufacturing design to execution and analysis and the integrated management of systematic information collected from devices if necessary.

Study of the Respiratory Monitoring System by Using the MEMS Acceleration Sensor (MEMS 가속도 센서를 이용한 환자 호흡동작 모니터링 체계 연구)

  • In this study, we developed and evaluated the patient respiration training method which can help to avoid the problems for the limitation of RGRT applicable patient cases. By using the MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical-system) acceleration sensor, we measured movement of motion phantom. We had compared the response of MEMS with commercially introduced real time patient monitoring (RPM) system. We measured the response of the MEMS with 1 dimensional motion phantom movement for 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 second of period and the 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 cm of the amplitudes. The measured period error of the MEMS system was 0.6~6.0% compared with measured period using RPM system. We found that the shape of MEMS signals were similar with RPM system. From this study, we found the possibility of MEMS as patient training system.

  • Recently, the lesson plan document that is imported in the educational area is not provided to the educational information systematically, and the teachers are not easy to compose the lessen plan documentation. So, it needs additional time and effort to develope the lesson plan documents. Because of increasing the distributing network. web-based lesson plan system is required to all of the education area. Therefore, we need to compose the lesson plan that is possible to obtain the various teacher's requirement by providing creation, retrival, and reusability of document using the standard XML on web. In this paper, we developed the system for creating the common DTD (Document Type Definition), providing the standard XML document through the common DTD over the lesson plan analysis. In this system, it provides the editor to compose the lesson plan and supports the searching function to improvement of reusability on the existing lesson plan. We design the searching functions such as the structure base, facet and keyword. The composed lesson plans are interoperated with Database. Consequently, we can share the information on web by composing the lesson plan using the XML and save the time and cost by directly writing the lesson plan on web. We can also provide the improved learning environment.

  • 1990 년대 후반부터 다양한 디지털 통신망을 이용하여 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 서비스가 가능하게 되었다. 하지만, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 전달 및 이용을 위한 기반 구조들의 독자적 발전 및 다양한 통합적 관리 체계 시스템으로 인해, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표현 방식의 호환성 문제, 혼재하는 네트워크 전달 방식과 단말 방식의 호환성 문제 등의 잠재적인 문제점이 발생한다. 이런 문제의 대안으로 현재 존재하는 기술 및 기반 구조들 사이의 연동을 통한 큰 프레임워크인 MPEG-21이 진행 중이다. MPEG-21 의 목표는 표준화 목표를 구체화하는 것부터 진행하여, 최종적으로 “다양한 네트워크 환경과 단말기에 있어서, 투명하고 통합적으로 멀티미디어 자원의 이용을 가능하게 하는 것”이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 표준화 작업이 진행 중인 MPEG-21 을 기반으로 하는 Testbed를 제안한다. Testbed는 server, client, DIA(Digital Item Adaptation) 의 세 모듈로 구성된다. Server 의 역할은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 Digital Item(DI)으로 생성하고, client 가 DI를 요구할 경우 DIA 모듈을 통해서 변환된 DI를 client 에게 제공한다. DIA 모듈은 server 에서 동작되며 client로부터 요청된 DI를 분석하고 client로부터 전송된 환경 정보를 이용하여 client 환경에 적합하게 변환된 (adapted) DI를 생성하는 것이 주 기능이다. Client 는 server 에 저장되어 있는 DI를 선택하고 user preference, terminal capability 등의 필요한 정보를 server로 전송한다. Testbed 에서는 스포츠 경기의 동영상, 정지 영상, 경기 내용 역사를 기록한 파일 등의 DI를 이용한다. 표현 언어는 XML이며, HTTP 기반의 Web 환경에서 구동되도록 설계된다.스템 사이에 의미 있는 데이터 전송, 지식 획득을 위해 정보 기술 분야에서 활용해야 할 영역으로 XML Web Services, Multi-agent Systems, 전문가 컴뮤니티를 위한 그룹웨어 연구 개발에 관해 사례 중심으로 발표한다.다 신선한 공기를 넣어 주었을 때는 배의 발달이 많이 늦어져 배양 3주째에 다른 처리보다 배의 수가 훨씬 적었다. 체세포배가 발달하는 동안에는 산소를 많이 요구하지 않으나 성숙하는 동안에는 산소를 많이 요구하는 것으로 생각된다.적인 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 곡선형은 물론 직선형에서도 열교환 튜브의 배치밀도, 튜브 길이 및 두께 등의 변화에 따른 최적화 연구가 수반되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.에서 제공된 API는 객체기반 제작/편집 도구에 응용되어 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 제작에 사용되었다.x factorization (NMF), generative topographic mapping (GTM)의 구조와 학습 및 추론알고리즘을소개하고 이를 DNA칩 데이터 분석 평가 대회인 CAMDA-2000과 CAMDA-2001에서 사용된cancer diagnosis 문제와 gene-drug dependency analysis 문제에 적용한 결과를 살펴본다.0$\mu$M이 적당하며, 초기배발달을 유기할 때의 효과적인 cysteamine의 농도는 25~50$\mu$M인 것으로 판단된다.N)A(N)/N을 제시하였다(A(N)=N에 대한 A값). 위의 실험식을 사용하여 헝가리산 Zempleni 시료(15%$S_{XRD}$)의 기본입자분포로부터 %$S_{XRD}$를 계산한 결과, 16%$S_{XRD}$의 결과값을 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 도출한 관계식들이 유효함을 확인할 수 있었다.계식들이 유효함을 확인할 수 있었다.할 때 약간의 증가

Constructing Forest Information Management System using GIS and Aerial Orthophoto (GIS와 항공정사사진을 이용한 산림정보 관리시스템 구축)

  • Recently in order to more effectively and scientifically process forest official tasks, which have been focused on documents and inventories, they should be applied with the up-to-date spatial information technologies. Especially, the forest resource information management based on GIS(geographic information system) and aerial orthophoto is expected not only to play an important role as DSS(decision support system) for domestic forest conservation policy and forestry development industry but also to service forest resource information toward people such as the owners of a mountain rapidly. In this study, the important forest information such as digital topography map, digital forest type map, digital forest cadastral map, digital aerial photographs and attribute data were first reprocessed and constructed in DBMS(data base management system). In addition, forest officials could analyze and retrieve forest information by using detail sub-application systems such as forest cadastral retrieval, forest land development information management, reserved forest information management and forest resource information retrieval. For this, the user interface is developed by using Visual Basic 6.0 and MapObjects 2.1 of ESRI based on CBD(component based development) technology. The result of developing this system will not only perform constructing economical forest and better environment but also be the foundation of domestic spatial technology for forest resource management.
