This study examined 39 elementary teachers' perceptions on the frontier science teaching and their teaching efficacy. The results showed: elementary teachers were interested in and were well aware of the importance of the frontier science in human life and in this society. They also agreed with the necessity of teaching frontier science in elementary school. They, however, had perceptions that frontier science may not be appropriate for the level of elementary students. Moreover, the poor educational environment may act as constraints for frontier science teaching. The change of elementary teachers' teaching efficacy(t=-13.67, p<.01) was statistically significant after their participation of developing STEAM program on frontier science and practicing its lessons.

최근 기술유출이 갈수록 빈발하고 있어 반도체, 휴대폰 등 첨단 신기술개발 핵심 주체인 벤처기업의 보안체계에 비상이 걸렸다. 기술유출 방법 역시 갈수록 첨단∙전문화되고 있어 이를 방지하는 데 사운을 걸어야할 지경이다. 기술유출은 비단 해당 기업의 피해로 국한되는 것이 아니다. 기술유출을 위한 국제 스파이 조직이 활개를 치고 있는 요즘 기술유출은 곧 국부유출로 이어진다. 이에 본지는 국부유출을 막기 위해 각고의 노력을 기울이고 있는 서울중앙지검 첨단범죄수사부 이득홍 부장검사를 만나 기술유출의 심각성과 대응책 등 기술유출 전반에 관한 이야기를 들어보았다.

최근 이탈리아의 젊은 여류 천체물리학자 피오렐라 테렌지는 오디오 망원경을 사용하여 1억8천만km나 멀리 떨어진 은하에서 나오는 무선파를 낚아채어 컴퓨터에 입력한 다음 음성합성프로그램을 응용하여 '은하에서 온 음악'을 만들었다. 첨단기술은 마침내 예술계 전반에 큰 변화의 바람을 일으키기 시작했다.

기존 자동차산업은 안전성과 편리성을 추구하는 소비자의 욕구에 부응하여 기계장치에서 전자장치로 변화하고 있다. 최근 IT기술과 산업 간 융합이 활발한 가운데 자동차 IT부문에도 각종 첨단 IT기술이 접목되면서 운전자의 안전 및 편의성을 증대시킬 수 있는 스마트카(Smart Car)로 진화하고 있다. 스마트카는 인포테인먼트와 텔레매틱스 뿐만 아니라 전기 전자시스템이 합쳐진 자동차로 사고 예방을 위한 첨단센서와 컴퓨팅기술, 차량주행 관리기술 및 음성인식기술 등이 있다. 이에 본고에서는 스마트카에 적용되는 첨단 IT기술과 최근 스마트카에 적용되는 첨단 자동차-IT 융합기술 및 서비스와 자동차 전자장치용 소프트웨어 표준 플랫폼인 AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System Architecture)의 표준동향 및 이슈를 살펴보고자 한다.

본 연구는 대표적인 지식기반산업인 생명의료산업클러스터인 첨단의료복합단지 조성정책의 형성과정을 분석하고자 한다. 첨단의료복합단지는 미래첨단산업육성정책, 국가산업진흥정책 그리고 지역균형발전정책이 첨예하게 대립했던 첨단의료산업 발전정책과 그 산물로서 2005년부터 시작한 첨단의료복합단지의 건립과정에 대한 경과를 분석하여 그 과정, 절차 그리고 결과를 분석해 보고자 한다. 첨단의료복합단지를 둘러싼 정책형성과정에 대한 분석은 단지 하나의 이벤트나 사건으로 머물지 않고 우리나라의 미래첨단산업정책, 국가신성장동력육성정책, 및 지역균형발전정책 등과 밀접히 관련되어 있다는 데 그 의의를 두고자 한다. 분석결과 첨단 의료산업분야의 정책형성 과정은 여러 정책행위자들이 간여하였다. 특히 해당 정책형성과정은 경제발전과정에서 보여준 한국 산업정책 고유특성이 반영된 합리적 행위자로서의 정부역할이 강하게 나타났다. 아울러 분석결과 다양한 정책행위자의 역동적인 역할이 정책형성의 여러 지점에 반영되었다는 점을 조명하였다.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has set up the Global Aviation Security Plan (GASeP), which urges member states to transition to more advanced security systems. This paper examines advanced aviation security policies and technologies at both domestic and international levels, and also investigates the underlying reasons for the challenges faced in establishing an advanced security system in the Republic of Korea. Based on this analysis, we propose effective strategies for deploying advanced security equipment at domestic airports, taking into consideration their respective classifications. Additionally, we identify the need for establishing new technological standards to introduce an advanced aviation security system, and provide evaluation criteria for the maintenance and management of technology to ensure the smooth operation of advanced security equipment.
