한국판 세대 간 심리적 양가성 척도 타당화: 청년자녀를 중심으로 (Psychometrics of a Korean intergenerational psychological ambivalence scale for young adult children)

  • Objective: In this study, we examined the psychometric properties of the Korean Intergenerational Psychological Ambivalence Scale (KIPAS) for young adult children. Method: Data came from 1,140 Korean young adults aged 19-34, who were never married and had at least one living parent. We translated the individual-subjective dimension of Zygowicz's (2006) Intergenerational Ambivalence Scale from English to Korean. The individual-subjective dimension had eight items that directly measured intergenerational psychological ambivalence (D-KIPAS) and 10 items that indirectly measured intergenerational psychological ambivalence (I-KIPAS). Results: The D-KIPAS and I-KIPAS items showed good internal consistency both for the mother and the father. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that D-KIPAS items loaded on one factor after controlling for method effects, which allowed error variances among the four non-reversed items to covary. Both the positive and negative items of I-KIPAS had good reliability and loaded on the same factor. The mean score of D-KIPAS and the calculated score of I-KIPAS were significantly but moderately correlated, which indicates that the D-KIPAS and I-KIPAS assess correlated but distinct aspects of intergenerational ambivalence. Correlations among D-KIPAS, I-KIPAS, and the proxy variables of intergenerational solidarity and conflict supported the discriminant validity of the KIPAS. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that both D-KIPAS and I-KIPAS are reliable and valid tools to measure intergenerational psychological ambivalence among Korean young adults.

반려견 보호자 양육행동 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (A study for the development and validation of a dog owner's parenting behavior scale)

  • With the increasing population of companion dogs, the social cost derived from their behavioral problems is increasing. Therefore, it is important to understand the environment to provide experience for dogs via interactions with their owners to prevent and solve these problems. The parenting behavior of dog owners as an environmental factor has a profound impact on the behavior development of dogs, as does the parenting behavior on children. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a scale to assess the dog owner's parenting behavior. Exploratory factor analysis involving 300 participants resulted in a scale with four subscales, Positive Education, Involvement of Socialization, Intimacy, and Stable Responses, and 19 items. Confirmatory factor analysis was then performed to verify its reliability and validity. The result of parenting behaviors assessed by this scale was significantly different between a group with dogs with problematic behavior (n = 141) and those without (n = 159). Overall, a dog owner's parenting behavior involves affection and control aspects, but the role required specifically in the control aspect is distinguished from the parenting behavior with children. The findings in the present study will provide dog owners with effective education that will help prevent dogs from developing behavioral problems.

한국형 사별돌봄자신감 척도 개발 (Development of a Korean version of the Bereavement Care Confidence Scale (K-BCCS))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Korean Bereavement Care Confidence Scale (K-BCCS). Methods: The Perinatal Bereavement Care Confidence Scale (PBCCS) was translated into Korean according to an algorithm of cultural adaptation process and excluded six items which were specific to perinatal bereavement. A total of 229 clinical nurses participated in the study. Construct validity, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and group comparison validity were evaluated, and Cronbach's α was calculated to estimate the reliability of the K-BCCS. Results: The K-BCCS consisted of 31 items in 7 factors, including knowledge and skills for bereavement care (12 items), organizational support (6 items), awareness of the needs (3 items), interpersonal skills (3 items), workload influence (2 items), continuous education (2 items), and understanding the grief process (3 items). The factor loading of 31 items within the 7 factors ranged from .60 to .86. For the convergent validity, the construct reliability (CR) ranged from .74 to .94, and the average variance extracted (AVE) ranged from .49 to .73, which is considered acceptable. The discriminant validity showed that the AVEs of the subscales were greater than the square of the correlation coefficient r. The nurses who had experience providing bereavement care (t=4.94, p<.001) or had received bereavement education (t=6.64, p<.001) showed higher K-BCCS values those without experience. The Cronbach's α of 31 items was .93 and ranged from .60 to .94 per subscale. Conclusion: The K-BCCS is a valid and reliable tool for evaluating nurses' confidence in bereavement care.

노인과의 동거 및 노인에 대한 교육 경험이 노화지식 및 노후불안에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Living Experiences with the Elderly and Leaning about the Elderly to Knowledge of Aging Process and Anxiety about Aging Process in Undergraduate Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인과의 동거경험 및 노인에 대한 교육이 대학생의 노화지식 및 노후불안에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 Lasher와 Faulkender(1993)의 노후불안 척도(Anxiety about Aging Scale: AAS)를 우리나라 실정에 맞게 번안·타당화 하였으며, 한정란(2000)의 노화에 관한 지식 검사지와 함께 대학생 344명(남자 113명, 여자 231명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 노인과의 동거 경험 및 노인에 대한 교육 경험은 노화에 대한 지식을 갖는데 유의미한 차이를 가져오는 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인과의 동거 경험의 유무에 따라 노후불안 중 심리적 불안정에서 차이를 보였으며, 노인에 대한 교육 경험 여부는 대학생이 가지는 노인에 대한 두려움에 영향을 주는 변인임이 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 노화에 관한 지식과 노후 불안 간에는 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 나타났다.

  • 본 논문은 사상채질분류검사지의 표준화 연구와 공동작업으로 행해진 연구로써 최근에 들어 다각도로 행해지고 있는 사상체질분류 객관화 연구의 한 방면이라고 하겠다. 본 논문의 주된 내용은 진단정확률의 확인을 통하여 새로 개발된 검사지의 타당도를 검증해 보고 프로파일 분석이라고 하는 통계분석상의 기법을 활용해서 설문지에 대한 적응도가 다소 떨어지는 집단들을 추출해내고 그들의 특성을 분석연구하자는 것이다. 연구에 사용된 검사지는 기본의 1992년판 검사지를 의학, 문학, 철학 및 심리화분야등 각 방면에서 폭넓은 검토를 거쳐 개정한 것이다. 본 연구의 대상이 되는 집단은 1995년 8월 7일부터 동년 9월 6일까지 경희의료원 동서종합건진센터 및 경희의료원 한방병원의 사상의학과에서 수진하여 전문의의 사상체질변증과정을 거친 외래환자들의 집단과 체질변증 과정이 없이 개방적으로 자료를 모집하되 연령별, 성별, 학력별로 나누어 고르게 분포하도록 한 일반인들의 집단으로 집단내 인원수는 각각 총 274명과 1092명이었다. 이들로부터 채집된 자료중 환자집단의 자료를 가지고 진단정확률을 조사하고, 일반인군 자료의 표준화에서 얻어진 규준(norms)을 환자군의 사상척도점수에 적용하여 T점수를 구하고 다변량군집분석을 시행하여 집단별 특성을 프로파일 그래프로 작성하여 파악해 보는 작업을 거쳐 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 예언집단과 실제 집단간의 비교로 나타나는 진단정확률은 기존의 QSCC에 비하여 대폭 향상된 70.08%로 나타나 검사지의 타당도가 입증되었다. 2. 각 체질집단의 전체 프로파일 특성비교에서 각 체질별로 해당척도에 대한 반응은 모든 척도에서 일정하게 상승되어 체질변증의 측면에서 긍정적인 양상을 보였다. 3. 자기표현의 정도를 중심으로 관찰해 본 전체 프로파일의 분석에서는 소양집단이 가장 뚜렷한 선명성을 보였고 소음집단이 가장 취약하였으며 태음집단은 이중적 속성을 나타냈다. 4. 각 체질별 세 군의 하위집단중에서 소위 이탈집단이라고 할 수 있는 부류의 집단은 나머지 두 집단과 프로파일의 특성에 있어서 확연히 구분되는 양상을 보였는 바 그 내용은 다음과 같다. 가. 소양인의 이탈집단은 소양집단의 일반적 속성과 달리 현저하게 소극적인 양상을 보였으며 소음척도에서 비교적 높은 반응을 보였다. 나. 태음인의 이탈집단은 점수분포가 매우 낮은 소극적 양상을 보였으며 태음집단의 특성인 태양-태음 동반상승과는 반대로 태양척도에서 점수가 급락하는 현상을 나타냈다. 다. 소음인의 이탈집단은 소양집단의 프로파일 형태와 유사한 특성을 보여 소음집단 특유의 소극적이고 표현에 취약한 특성이 대부분 희석된 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 보아 제작된 검사지의 타당도가 입증되었으며 본 연구의 과정에서 실시한 체질별 이탈집단의 프로파일 분석을 통해 몇가지 방향에서 그들의 특성을 파악할 수 있었다. 이 결과는 추후에 본 검사지의 개선에 하나의 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대하며 검사지의 발전을 위해서는 이탈집단과 대조집단의 특성차이에 대한 좀 더 심층적인 연구가 지속되어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

취업신념 측정척도 개발과 타당화 연구 (The Development and Validity of a Scale to Evaluate Maternal Beliefs Regarding Employment)

  • This study was conducted to develop a scale to evaluate maternal beliefs regarding employment and to demonstrate its validity. The subjects in the study included 225 mothers in Suncheon who had children under the age of 5. Initially, the definitions of beliefs associated with employment presented in previous studies were examined, after which the existing scale, Beliefs about the Consequence Maternal Employment for Young Children (BACMEC), was modified based the advice of three experts in child study. Next, 35 mothers who had preschool children were interviewed to assess their views on the positive and negative aspects of maternal employment. After excluding overlapping contents, a scale composed of 50 questions (24questions adapted from questions on the BACMEC and 26 created based on the results of the interview) was generated. Based on the result of factor and regression analysis, 27 (15questions regarding positive aspects of employment and 12 regarding negative aspects of employment) of the 50 questions were selected for use as the new scale. Reliability analysis showed satisfactory results (Cronbach's $\alpha$ = .89-.92). In conclusion, it is hoped that the scale for maternal beliefs in employment developed in this study will be used as a useful measurement tool in future studies conducted to evaluate maternal employment.

수산·해운계 고등학교 직업기초능력 척도의 타당화 (The Validation of Occupational Basic Competencies of Fisheries and Maritime High School)

  • The aims of this study were to validate the Occupational Basic Competencies of Fisheries and Maritime High school. Fisheries & Maritime key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce on the fisheries and maritime job condition. This research collected preliminary data from 1,113 fisheries & maritime high school students. Data were analyzed to obtain reliability and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; First, fisheries & maritime key competencies were divided into 6 elements. Second, fisheries & maritime key competencies were consisted of marine vocational ethics, marine information capacity, marine elementary knowlegde, marine safety management skill, management & utilization of marine life and marine consciousness. Third, Cronbach-${\alpha}$ proves that the scale developed in the study is reliable. In consequence, the results of this study help to reconceptualize fisheries & maritime and apply the scale to measure students in high school settings.

부모-유아 어휘 상호작용 척도의 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of Parent-child Lexical Interaction Scale for Preschoolers (PLIS-P))

  • This study developed and validated a 'Parent-child Lexical Interaction Scale for Preschoolers (PLIS-P)'. First, we developed the preliminary scale with 7 factors after reviewing previous literature related to vocabulary and literacy instruction for young children and reflected on feedback from child studies experts and mothers with young children. Subsequently, to validate the scale, the online survey was conducted on mothers with 5-to 6-year-old children who live in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gyeongsang, Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gangwon, and Jeju. Responses from 309 mothers were used to conduct exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis. The results were as follows. First, the result of exploratory analysis showed that the model with 7 factors was satisfactory: (1) vocabulary exposure, (2) word elaboration, (3) scaffolding, (4) play activity, (5) conventional instruction, (6) word type awareness instruction, (7) word morphology instruction. Second, confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the good fit of the model. Third, the concurrent validity was confirmed by correlation analysis using EC-HOME. Last, the internal consistency reliability of each factor of PLIS-P was also confirmed. This study developed both a theoretical framework of parent-child lexical interaction and a Parent-child Lexical Interaction Scale for Preschoolers. This scale can be used by parents, practitioners, and researchers to acquire knowledge about interaction related to words between Korean parents and young children.

한국 유아용 Burks 행동평정척도(K-BBRS-2) 타당화를 위한 예비연구 (A Preliminary Validation Study on the K-BBRS-2 for Young Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide initial information aboutthe reliability and validity of the Korean version of the BBRS-2(Burks Behaviors Rating Scales, Second Edition). Data were collected for 217 children aged 3-5. K-BBRS-2 consists of a total of 93 questions in 7 factors. The results were as follows. First, internal consistency of the7 factors ranged from 0.81 to 0.94.Results of the confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that the 7-factor model presented in the original tool was the most appropriate. Second, children's maladaptive behavior in Korea based on K-BBRS-2 indicated evidence of validity with a meaningful correlation with children's self-esteem and peer relationships. Third Korean children's maladaptive behavior was not to have significant difference by age of children. The conclusion was that it is not necessary to calculate independent norms for age. Also, when considering gender differences, it was shown that maladaptive behavior appears more in boys than girls. K-BBRS-2 is expected to be utilized as a suitable tool for measuring the maladaptive behavior of Korean children. A nationwide standardized study for Korean children and further research with clinical groups is needed.

유아 음악성 평가척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (The Development and Validation of a Musicality Rating Scale for Young Children)

  • Objective: This study aims to develop and validate the musicality level of an individual child, based on the on performance tasks rubrics. Methods: The survey was conducted on 284 children(ages 3-5years old from kindergartens and day care centers), their parents, and their 51 teachers. The collected data were calculated and analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. Results: Consisted of two components, two task types, 17 performance tasks, and 41 items in three dimensions. Rubrics were determined and based on the child's best performance, and categorized into five levels. Lastly, the item difficulty and item discriminating power were defined in order to comprehend the item quality analysis, which showed that average scores varied depending on the performance. Conclusion/Implications: The musicality rating scale for young children is significant in order to comprehend musicality levels through the performances of children aged three to five. This study has educational implications in that teachers can connect the results of the ratings to curriculum and promote the development of teaching and learning methodologies based on the musicality levels of individual children.
