Using a qualitative multimethod approach, this study was to construct a substantive theory about occupational socialization of librarians. Through theoretical sampling, 42 participants were in-depthly interviewed at three studies, i. e., phenomenological, ethnographic, and grounded theory approach. These data were analyzed and finally integrated using grounded theory approach. 'Acquiring Social Recognition as Information Professionals' was emerged the core category for describing and guiding the occupational socialization process. Six patterns were discovered: 'the Beliefs', 'the Seeking-Success', 'the Work-Obiligations', 'The Stucked', 'the Self-Pride', 'The Frustrated' Also, it discussed characteristics and socialization strategies of the pattern.

A remote cooperative studying system based on the Internet consists of a matching system of connecting remote class room with the others, a community system of making practical cooperative study by student's various. compensation and interaction, and a report system of sharing studying results and evaluating of studying achievements for individuals, groups and class. Especially I divide a course of cooperative studying into six parts; pre-preparation stage, group organization stage, interaction stage, result consultation stage, evaluation stage and follow-up stage. A safe Linux system for security enhancement should have an audit ability that prohibits an illegal access and alternation of data as well as trace ability of illegal activities. In addition, construction of the log management and monitoring system is a necessity to clearly categorize the responsibility of the system manager or administrator and the users' activities. In this paper, the Linux system's Security Log is analyzed to utilize it on prohibition and detection of an illegal protrusion converting the analyzed security log into a database. The proposed analysis allows a safe management of the security log. This system will contribute to the enhancement of the system reliability by allowing quick response to the system malfunctions.

On January 1, 2003, the motor vehicle management system in Korea was transformed from government's vehicle type approval to manufacturer's self-certification. The motor vehicle recall system with self-certification is an essential mechanism to place the liability of the vehicle defects on manufacturers and hence protect consumers from automobile accidents. This study provides a methodology to measure the benefits of motor vehicle recall system in two categories: benefits of reduction in traffic accidents and benefits of severity reduction in traffic accident. Applying the proposed methodology, the benefits of implementing motor vehicle recall system in Korea were estimated. It was estimated that 745 traffic accidents, 12 fatal accidents, and 1473 injury accidents were respectively reduced in 2002 due to implementation of motor vehicle recall system.

지난 96년 PBS제도가 시행되면서, 많은 연구에서 PBS제도의 문제점을 제시해 왔다. 선행 연구에서는 인건비 확보를 위한 과도한 경쟁으로 연구활동의 안정성 저하 및 불안감 조성, 기관 내 외 연구자간의 경쟁구도 심화로 상호협력을 통한 융합연구의 어려움, 관리 운영체계의 제약요인으로 인한 제도 확산은 정부출연연구기관의 성과를 저하시킨다고 지적하였다. 하지만 PBS제도 도입당시의 기대효과였던 기관의 자율성 강화, 연구책임자 책임성 강화, 사업관리의 투명성 강화는 정부출연연구기관의 성과를 높이는 효과를 가져올 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 PBS제도 도입 후 15년이 경과한 현재 PBS제도가 출연연구기관의 연구과제 수행 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 실증분석을 하였다. 기초기술연구회 소속 13개 기관을 대상으로 질적 논문성과를 분석해본 결과, 기관이 수행한 과제의 PBS제도는 논문성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 수행 과제의 기술적 특성을 기술분야별, 기술단계별로 나눠보았을 경우, 기술단계별 구분에서 기초기술연구회 소속 정부출연연구기관의 논문성과는 기초기술 단계의 과제를 수행하였을 경우 높은 질적 논문성과를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다.

There are some problems for the designation criteria of metropolitan railroad project such as the similarity between urban railroad and metropolitan railroad, and the discriminative government subsidy. In this paper, the revised designation criteria is suggested. The ratio of commuter trips over all trips should be over 5% and the radius from the CBD of the central city be below 50km for the range of metropolitan railroad. The journey speed of metropolitan railroad should be over 60km/h. The revised criteria suggested in this paper can prevent the waste of central government subsidy and raise the responsibility of the local government.

Passwords are a common method of identifying and authenticating a user who wishes to log on to a secure system. Password-based authentication techniques, however, do not provide strong security and recognized as being an poor form of protection. It is not all the responsibility of the user to control password and to protect its confidentiality. In this paper, confirm an appropriate response time and I propose a new and improved method of implementing two factor authentication using SMS via receiving apparatus(mobile and email).

A changed image that they feel through makeup manipulates impression by linking with cultural standards and will be able to direct a variety of makeup images. Makeup in modern society has been expanding into the area of prevention of diseases and health of skin due to the development of cosmetics and has beautifully changed a face into a someone else's face due to the development of makeup technique. Also, assuming that motivation of makeup act of men and women is related to sexual instincts, I tried to analyze what kind of association the gender roles and the function of makeup required by the society has with age and regional and social background. In particular, I tried to explain that makeup act of men not only represents cognitive change of gender roles that have been perceived differently in modern society but has been adopted by men for the pure purpose in a socially equitable competition.

We propose a new wireless fair queueing algorithm, WFQ-R (Wireless Fair Queueing with Retransmission), which is well matched with the LLR (Link Level Retransmission) algorithm and does not require channel prediction. In the WFQ-R algorithm, the share consumed by retransmission is regarded as a debt of the retransmitted flow to the other flows. Thus, the WFQ-R algorithm achieves wireless fairness with the LLR algorithm by penalizing flows that use wireless resources without permission under the MAC layer. Through simulations, we showed that our WFQ-R algorithm maintains fairness adaptively and maximizes system throughput. Furthermore, our WFQ-R algorithm is able to achieve flow separation and compensation.
