The purpose of this study is, through journal review, to introduce and analyze the success factor and programs of CONNECT which have made key contributions in the construction of San diego Bio-cluster and thereby show directions business incubators in Korea should try to follow. CONNECT is a most popular bench-marking case over the world for bio-venture incubation. In this paper, core success factors and incubating programs of CONNECT are analyzed in detailed way for local govenments and incubating institutions to develop enterprise promotion policy. CONNECT is famous for its tailored services to meet the varying needs of entrepreneurs at all stages of their business life cycles and growth. CONNECT is a pioneer which provide mainly software services by using network while it provide hardware supports like space at minimun level. CONNECT has provided early stage corporations with diverse software services on which business incubators in Korea should have focus Since its inception, CONNECT has assisted more than 800 technology companies. Leadership of policy makers, network and software services have been key success factors of UCSD CONNECT.

This research focuses on the case studies for operating scheme of technology venture incubation centers located at science parks, technology parks, and foreign universities. Technology venture incubation centers in foreign countries commonly vitalize local economy, create job markets, and promote new venture industry. There is a distinct difference in many ways between foreign and domestic incubation centers. Foreign countries consider the position of incubation centers at national policy level. They characterize the operation of incubation centers into technology fields. They install the networks cooperating with experts and promote the management. Tenant companies moved in incubation centers enhance the degree of completion through industry-university cooperation. Universities and research centers utilize the results of R&D to make the business, accelerate to venture establishment with technical skills, and foster technology entrepreneurs by spin-offs. Through case studies we propose implications helpful to manage domestic technology incubation centers and management methods to be successful centers.

This study aims at researching whether business founders' psychological characteristics, behavioral characteristics, and career characteristics have influence upon corporate performance and whether business founders' career characteristics and start-up education experience have influence upon corporate performance targeting business founders of start-up business-incubated companies. As a result of this study, business founders' psychological characteristics(achievement desire, risk-endurance propensity) were indicated to have significant influence upon corporate performance. On the other hand, business founders' behavioral characteristics were indicated to have no influence upon corporate performance. Also, it is seen to have clarified that business founders' career characteristics, past practical-affairs experience during start-up education business, and job-life experience are important factors of having significant influence upon corporate performance. These findings are expected to give many implications even to preliminary business founders as well as establishment in supportive direction and effective development of start-up business-incubated companies. Accordingly, the implication is seen to have been suggested that the services, which the business incubator supports the living-in companies, need to be planned and offered by considering business founders' characteristics of start-up business.

창업을 촉진하기 위해 중소벤처기업부를 중심으로 다양한 창업지원 사업을 시행하고 있고, 매년 창업지원 사업이 증가하고 있다. 창업지원 사업의 가장 중요한 역할은 예비창업자 또는 창업기업의 성공적인 사업화를 지원하고 성공률 제고를 위해 자금·교육·투자·네트워크 등을 지원하는 일이다. 그 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 전담 조직과 전담 인력이 필요하다. 현재까지는 창업보육센터와 창업보육 매니저에 관한 연구는 많이 이루어지고 있지만, 창업지원단의 역할과 창업지원 매니저에 관한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 창업지원 매니저의 역량 특성이 조직몰입과 업무성과에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 한다. 창업지원 사업의 규모 확대와 역할변화에 따르는 중소벤처기업부에서 요구하는 창업지원 매니저의 역량들을 도출해보고, 역량 강화를 위한 방안을 모색하고 제안하고자 한다.

This study aims to observe the impacts of entrepreneurship and market orientation of Seoul's business incubator (BI) CEO's on business performance, as well as investigate the moderating effects of BI supporting services. The main objectives of this study are as follows: first, to observe how the entrepreneurship of CEO's affects business performance; second, to observe how CEO's market orientation as a cultural factor attributes to business performance; third, to verify whether the utilization level of BI supporting services shows moderating effects between entrepreneurship and business performance, and finally to verify whether the utilization level of BI supporting services shows moderating effects between market orientation and business performance. Business incubators in Seoul registered with the Business Incubator Association were surveyed both online and offline to receive 127 responses out of 320 circulations. By filtering out insincere reponses, 117 were used for statistical analysis. Our results assert that the utilization level of physical BI supporting services does indeed strengthen the relation between initiative and financial performance. Also, it is interesting to note that the utilization level of physical BI supporting services supports the relation between risk sensitivity and financial performance. While risk sensitivity on its own shows no positive effect on business performance, a suitable utilization level of BI supporting services is likely to strengthen the connection. In addition, the utilization level of both physical and non-physical supporting services shows a moderating effect between initiative and non-financial performance. Based on the results above, risk-taking business incubator CEOs with initiative are likely to yield better financial performance in terms of increasing sales, if provided with various physical supporting services such as sufficient educational facilities including communal spaces and conference rooms.

A policy of entrepreneurship support increases recently. A policy of entrepreneurship support provide from infra to direct support in various. Quantity scale increase but quality levels are inadequate. In this paper, we provide an overview of the role of Graduate school of Entrepreneurial management on the development of entrepreneurship in Korea. This study aims exploratory research that the role of graduate school of entrepreneurial management in the diffusion of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship culture. This study review the support of entrepreneurship structure(youth entrepreneurship, domestic support of entrepreneurship system, abroad support of entrepreneurship system) and the propulsive strategy(the business of SOE, 4th Generation Business Incubator, organizational structure of entrepreneurship business center, contents of entrepreneurship education).

본 연구는 창업지원사업의 효과성을 높이기 위해 창업지원사업의 분야 및 창업지원사업의 기대충족도와 경영성과와의 인과관계를 규명하고 창업기업의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 검증하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 우리나라 창업지원사업의 분야별 인지도, 중요도, 만족도를 살펴보고, 이러한 인식도의 차이인 기대충족도를 비교분석하여 이에 근거한 문제점을 파악함으로서 현 시대에 맞는 발전방향을 도출하여 우리나라 창업지원사업의 발전방안들을 제시하며, 합리적이고 효과적인 정책방향을 탐색하고자한다. 조사대상은 충청남도와 충청북도의 창업보육센터에 위치하며, 중소기업창업지원법에 의해 사업을 개시하고 7년이 지나지 않은 개인사업자 및 법인 사업자로 한정하였다. 자료수집 방법은 창업보육 매니저에게 요청하여 10개의 창업보육센터를 대상으로 총 150개의 입주기업에 이메일 설문지가 발송되었고, 자기보고식 작성방법에 따라 설문회수된 123개의 설문지 중 불성실 하게 응답한 설문지 1부를 제외한 총 122개를 최종 설문지로 사용하였다. 연구를 위한 자료의 수집은 2017년 10월 10일부터 2017년 10월 25일까지 2주간 실시하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 창업지원사업 분야별로 창업자들이 상대적으로 중요하게 생각하는 정도와 실제 만족하는 정도의 평균값과 그 차이에 대한 검정을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 창업지원사업 중 가장 중요하게 인지하고 있는 분야는 자금지원(4.44점), 시설 공간(4.25점), 컨설팅(3.80점), 창업교육(3.76점) 순으로 나타났고, 자금지원과 시설 공간은 4점 이상의 높은 점수를 보였다. 창업지원사업의 만족도는 창업교육(3.39점), 시설 공간(3.48점), 자금지원(3.36점), 컨설팅(3.33점)순으로 나타났다. 창업지원사업의 창업교육, 시설 공간, 컨설팅, 자금지원 각각 분야의 중요도와 만족도의 차이에 대한 통계적 유의성을 검정한 결과 모든 분야에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Korean government has invested about 400 million dollars to the business incubator using the facilities and human resources of universities and research institutes and successfully operated to contribute the economic development(1.6 billion dollars sales, 5,500 companies) and job creation(16,000 employee) in the end of 2013. Although incubators have grown rapidly, there is limited performance, like a hardware centered support, limited exploitation of resource in the university, less collaboration with the community, less star companies. This research provide a alternative capacity building direction based on the creativity and resource dependence theory. Specifically this paper suggest a building creative incubating center, traversing the valley of death, accelerator for the CPM(Capability, Product, Market) linkage, organic implementation of university resources.

The purpose of this research is to verify that how Emotional Labor of surface acting and deep acting influences on work engagement and job burnout, effect on turnover intention, and customer orientation. It studies the effect of reward on manager at support centers for startup. The results of the study are that the surface acting do not influence on work engagement and job burnout and the deep acting has positive influence on work engagement and negative influence on job burnout. The work engagement has negative effect on turnover intention and affirmative effect on customer orientation. The reward can control work engagement and customer orientation of practicians at support centers for startup. This study decribes academic and practical meanings based on these results.

딥테크, 딥사이언스 창업의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 현재, 연구자원이 풍부하고 대형기술·기초연구에 특화된 정부출연연구기관의 연구원 창업에 주목할 필요가 있다. 그간 연구원 창업은 정출연의 연구생산성 제고를 위한 기술사업화 방식 중 하나로 여겨져왔으나, 발생 시점에서 기술료 등의 대가를 수신하는 실시권 허여(라이센싱)와는 달리 아직 연구원을 포함한 지원기관에 대한 대가 수신이 제도화 되어 있지 않고 기업의 시장진입과 정착이 창업가의 역량에 크게 의존하는 특성으로 인해 아직 많은 정출연이 창업기업의 보육에 소극적이며, 단순 창업 승인 및 초기 보육 수준에 머무르고 있다. 대다수(92%)의 정출연이 창업 관리 규정을 보유한 것에 비해 아직도 절반에 가까운(44%) 정출연이 누적 연구원 창업기업 수가 10개 미만일 정도로 아직 양적, 질적 성장을 이루지 못한 현실에서, 적극적인 연구원 창업 활성화 방안을 모색하기 위해서는 우선 현황 파악과 더불어 벤치마킹이 가능한 사례 탐색이 필요할 것으로 여겨진다. 본 연구에서는 창업 및 출자관리규정이 신설된 1990년 이래 다수의 창업기업을 탄생시켰으며, 현재 연구원 창업기업 중 33.2%의 비중을 차지하고 있는 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)의 사례를 통해 단순 창업승인에서 예비창업가 역량 강화 및 인큐베이팅으로 이어지는 연구원 창업지원 프로그램의 역사를 살펴보고, 파급력이 높은 고성장 스타기업을 탄생시키기 위해 시도되고 있는 ETRI 창업지원 플랫폼과 앞으로 정출연 창업지원 프로그램이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 살펴보았다.
