경기도 김포시의 변화가 예사롭지 않다. 한강신도시가 들어서면서 신흥 주거지로 명성을 높이더니, 이제 경인아라뱃 사업이 본격화됨에 따라 산업계의 시선 역시 집중시키고 있다. 경인아라뱃길 사업이 산업계의 주목을 받는 가장 큰 이유는 김포터미널(김포 고촌읍 전호리 일대)에 조성될 '김포물류단지' 때문이다. '김포물류단지'의 북측에는 마리나를 중심으로 관광, 레저 및 수변상업시설이 배치된다. 또 남측에는 컨테이너 부두와 연계한 장고 집송시설 등 물류시설이 들어선다. 가히 문화와 산업이 어우러진 수도권 서부지역 최대의 물류소통 전진기지가 등장하는 것이다. 이 전진기지의 중심에는 삼성에버랜드가 시공하고 있는 '수도권 통합물류센터' 가 있다. 이 센터는 연면적 $63,571m^2$의 물류창고로, 김포물류단지 내에서는 최대 규모를 자랑한다. 즉 김포물류단지를 대표하는 건축물인 셈이다. 때문에 삼성에버랜드는 큰 책임감과 자긍심을 갖고 시공에 임하고 있다. '철저한 안전관리' 로 김포물류단지의 랜드마크를 선보이겠다는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

네트워크를 이용하여 정보를 주고받을 수 있는 사물 인터넷과 메시지 전송 기능(GCM)을 기반으로 하는 화재 방지 프로그램을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 창고 관리자가 화재를 방지할 수 있는 해결 방안을 제시하였고, 해결방안인 화재 방지 프로그램의 설계 결과물과 구현 과정들을 볼 수 있다.

This research studies the present status of utilization of IT in SMB, Small & Medium Business, logistics companies, and analyzes the examples of utilizing Excel VBA for building and operating IT system in SMB logistics companies. Through the study, this research suggests main issues of building and operating logistic systems and the effective way of utilizing the systems in SMB logistics companies.

최근 산업분야에 있어서의 자동화의 니이즈는 다양화되어 그 양상은 극에 달하고 가장 적당한 시스템을 구축하는 기술이 보다 중요시하게 되었다. 특히 분산과 집중을 어떻게 조화시키느냐가 초점이 되어있다. 1975년 IEC에서는 공업용데이터웨이 P-roway의 규격을 제정하도록 결정했다. 이 결정으로 1기업의 공장내$\cdot$동일빌딩내$\cdot$창고등 한정된 지역에 있어서의 생산관리정보 등의 통신용의 네트워크로서 LAN이 실용화하게 되고 1980년 IEEE 802위원회에서 표준화 활동이 개시됨으로서 현재 기술적으로는 거의 대부분의 표준은 완성하기에 이르렀다. 한편 산업분야에 있어서의 FA화는 현저한 진전을 보이고 있으며 보다 효율적인 시스템을 구축하는데 있어서 네트워크$\cdot$시스템은 필수적인 요소가 되고 있다. 여기서는 FA에 있어서 네트워크$\cdot$시스템을 계획$\cdot$구축해 가는데 있어 요점초점이 되는 과제에 대하여 해설 그 사례에 대해서 기술하기로 한다.

An inventory control system was developed for a distribution system consisting of a single multiproduct warehouse serving a set of customers and purchasing products from multiple vendors. Purchase orders requesting multiple products are delivered to the warehouse in a process. The receipt of customer orders by the warehouse proceeded in order intervals and in order quantities that are subject to random fluctuations. The objective of warehouse operation is to minimize the total cost while maintaining inventory levels within the warehouse capacity by adjusting the purchase order intervals and quantities. An adaptive model predictive control algorithm was developed using a periodic square wave model to represent the material flows. The adaptive concept incorporated a stabilized minimum variance control-type input calculation coupled with input/output stream parameter predictions. The effectiveness of the scheme was demonstrated using simulations.

This study considers warehouse sizing decisions in an integrated single vendor-single buyer production inventory system by incorporating new decision variables and constraints associated with warehouse size into the formulations. Two typical inventory control policies proposed in the literature (i.e., Identical Delivery Quantity and Deliver What is Produced) have been investigated with consideration of warehouse investment costs. The numerical study shows that Deliver What is Produced is less flexible than Identical Delivery Quantity, resulting in the conclusion that the latter would be preferable when considering warehouse investment costs.

인터넷이 발전함에 따라 폭발적으로 증가하는 웹 데이터를 효율적으로 관리하는 방법이 요구되었으며, 기존 웹에 대한 대안으로 제시된 것이 시멘틱 웹이다 시멘틱 웹에서 단순 단어의 나열로 검색하는 방법을 사용하는 것이 아닌 온톨로지 추론을 이용하여 사용자가 입력한 쿼리에 대한 의미를 찾아내는 방법이다. 이 논문에서는 기본적으로 온톨로지에서 제공하는 기본 공리 이외에 부가적인 추론규칙을 만들어 추가하고 추가된 추론규칙을 이용하여 웹 온톨로지와 연관된 지식창고(Knowledge Base)를 확장하는 방법을 제시하였다.

현재 국내건축물은 주택, 빌라 등을 제외한 대부분의 건물에 소방시설을 적용하고 있다. 그렇지만 소방시설의 활용은 이천물류 창고 화재, 부산 노래방화재, 대구 지하철 참사와 최근 부산의 고층 오피스텔 화재 등을 볼 때 제대로 작동하지 않고 있다. 이처럼 우리나라의 실제 화재시 소방설비가 제대로 작동이 되지 않아 인명피해, 재산피해 등이 계속해서 발생되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소방시설 중 가장 널리 사용되고 초기소화에 가장 중요하게 사용되는 경보설비 및 피난설비의 관리 실태를 파악하고 그것에 대한 문제점을 데이터화하여 실제 화재시 소방시설의 적극적인 활용을 위한 해결점을 찾고자 한다.
