Volunteers in public libraries are recognized only as internal manpower, so their sustainability and effectiveness are limited because the motivation for volunteering is hardly considered. This study aims to explore the motivation for volunteering in public libraries and the factors to continuation of the volunteering, and to analyze how these factors affect volunteer satisfaction and marketing intentions. To this end, the variables in this studies including satisfaction and motivation was defined operationally based on the related research and a pilot study with several in-depth interviews. A questionnaire survey was executed with the defined variables and the survey data were analyzed statistically. The results showed that the factors of emotional and psychological motivation influenced the satisfaction and marketing intention rather than the managerial factors such as remuneration. The results indicate the need for a change in volunteer management to a relationship-oriented management method. This study is meaningful in that it expands the value of volunteers in public libraries from as managerial to as marketing resources for public libraries.

For construction companies to become competitive innovative, cost management as well as process improvement are required. Activity-based costing (ABC), which uses cost information to support long-term decision-making, is a tool that enhances a company's competitiveness. In this study, we compare and analyze tradition-based costing (TBC) and ABC to confirm the adequacy of performance-based costing. In addition, we will empirically examine the relationship between the impact of the reward system using ABC on employee satisfaction and involvement. In research results, the influence of the reward system on employee involvement appeared in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.338) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.308). In addition, the reward system showed positive (+) effects on employee satisfaction, with influence appearing in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.360) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.337). And employee satisfaction (𝛽 = 0.225) had a positive effect on involvement. We were able to confirm that it is necessary to build a reward system consisting of intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to increase employee satisfaction and involvement.

This study aims to provide the fundamental data of an efficient grading system after identifying the mediate and moderating effects of self-participation regarding the impact of education service quality on student satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of the study, SPSS 18.0 statistic program was used to conduct the frequency, factor and correlation analysis while targeting 310 students majoring in food service and culinary arts & science in 2 and 4 year universities in Busan area. Specifically, the mediate and moderating effects of self-participation were examined in accordance with three-stage regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis, respectively. The results of analyses suggested that there was the positive correlation between student satisfaction and education service quality, and the student satisfaction was correlated with self-participation in the entire variables, except for the welfare service. The self-participation didn't have any mediate effect, since the ratio of the student satisfaction to the education service quality with self-participation turned out to be p<0.01. The self-participation had moderating effects on student satisfaction, with the $R^2$ being increased by 0.032, from 0.537 to 0.569. However, it was only partial moderating effects because the self-participation, when along with laboratory environment, was not positively effective in terms of the statistic variables.

This study started from a question about the causal relationship between employment continuity and quality of life of the elderly participating the Senior Employment Project. Based on Continuity theory and Similarity Model, this study investigated that direct impacts of continuity of employment on depression and life satisfaction and indirect impacts on depression and life satisfaction through job satisfaction and self efficacy. The study was designed as a social survey research. Data from 700 participants of the senior employment project was analyzed. The results revealed that only continuity of type of employment directly impacted on life satisfaction, and continuity of salary and expressed importance on continuity of employment indirectly impacted on depression as well as life satisfaction through self efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to find out how the leadership of a badminton club leader and the facility are related to the participation satisfaction and have an effect on it. 495 badminton club members in Daejeon took part in this study. According to the analysis, the interrelation between the leadership of a club leader and the participation satisfaction was positive. The interrelation of the badminton facility and the participation satisfaction was the same. While the effect of the leadership was remarkable, the club facility's was not negative but small. Therefore, both the leadership and the facility have an influence on club members. Since the former particularly has an significant effect on the satisfaction, it needs to be concerned.

This paper investigates the differences in norms, values, and trusts that affect the quality of life of the elderly, as well as the elderly population. The elderly surveyed 401 households (65 years old or older) residing in N city. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in life satisfaction according to sex, marital status, educational background, type of household composition and income level in the comparison of life satisfaction according to demographic variables. As a result of examining the influence of social capital on the elderly's life satisfaction, it was found that they contributed to trust, norm, and participation order. This study suggests that future policies of the elderly welfare policy should be considered as a policy that focuses on participation in various social activities that can activate social capital.

This experimental study was to examine the impact of collaborative learning in a virtual environment on students' learning outcomes and satisfaction. The collaborative virtual learning environment was created for a Korean history class for high school students. A total of 119 participants were recruited and were randomly assigned to either "collaborative group" or an "individual group." Students' academic achievements and satisfaction were collected as measurement tools to examine the effect of collaborative learning in the virtual learning environment and collected data were tested by independent sample t. The results showed that participation in collaborative groups had a significant positive effect on academic achievement and satisfaction than individual groups.

The present study is to investigate the elements of e-learning strategies affecting the levels of participation, achievement and satisfaction for learners who participated in the university blended learning environment. For this, 58 subjects were recruited who participated in the blended learning class at K university. E-learning strategies, achievement and satisfaction levels were measured for data collection, and the level of participation was measured by analyzing the LMS log-in database. For data analysis, first, means and standard deviation were computed to find the level of e-learning strategies of the subjects. Second, linear regression analysis was conducted to find the e-learning strategies that could estimate the levels of achievement, participation and satisfaction. As a result, variables to estimate the achievement level included time management strategy and overload management strategy. Variables to estimate the participation level included self-directed strategy, time management strategy and overload management strategy. Finally, variables to estimate the satisfaction level included multiple discussion management strategy, asynchronous management strategy and sociality. Based on these estimated variables, the author suggested some ideas to increase the educational effectiveness.

in order to measure business performance against the programs supporting enterprises proceeding with LINC project, we have evaluated and checked satisfaction and effectiveness of the supporting programs to the extent that how well people recognize its significance and the related influence factors. For doing this, we have utilized questionnaire method and analyzed the research models and hypothesis in accordance with the variables and then verified the hypothesis. Based on the analysis, the satisfaction and effectiveness of the supporting programs was significant, resulting that the better administration system of the colleges and the enterprises participating in the programs, the higher satisfaction. According to this study, the result of the research showed that the degree of participation in the supporting program and the administration system of the colleges are the key converged influence factors to its satisfaction and effectiveness. However, so far, we have only focused on the questionnaire measuring the effectiveness. From next time on, we insist that we have to continually conduct more precise research which analyzes revenues of the participating enterprises.

This study aims to analyze the mediating effect of disability level on the relationship between economic activity participation and life satisfaction level of middle-age and older women with disabilities. The survey respondents were 4,961 women with disabilities aged from 45 to 65 who participated in one of the first series of the PSED(2nd to 8th). Results of the analysis showed the economic activities of middle-aged and older women with disabilities and level of disability were correlated with a statistical significance in the analysis phase 1 and 2, and economic activity participation affected life satisfaction level through the level of disability as a parameter, indicating that a mediating effect does exist. This study suggests that to enhance the life satisfaction level of middle-aged and older women with disabilities through participation in economic activities, an employment scheme based on their level of disability is necessary.
