A Study on the Prediction Models of Used Car Prices Using Ensemble Model And SHAP Value: Focus on Feature of the Vehicle Type (앙상블 모델과 SHAP Value를 활용한 국내 중고차 가격 예측 모델에 관한 연구: 차종 특성을 중심으로)

  • The market share of online platform services in the used car market continues to expand. And The used car online platform service provides service users with specifications of vehicles, accident history, inspection details, detailed options, and prices of used cars. SUV vehicle type's share in the domestic automobile market will be more than 50% in 2023, Sales of Hybrid vehicle type are doubled compared to last year. And these vehicle types are also gaining popularity in the used car market. Prior research has proposed a used car price prediction model by executing a Machine Learning model for all vehicles or vehicles by brand. On the other hand, the popularity of SUV and Hybrid vehicles in the domestic market continues to rise, but It was difficult to find a study that proposed a used car price prediction model for these vehicle type. This study selects a used car price prediction model by vehicle type using vehicle specifications and options for Sedans, SUV, and Hybrid vehicles produced by domestic brands. Accordingly, after selecting feature through the Lasso regression model, which is a feature selection, the ensemble model was sequentially executed with the same sampling, and the best model by vehicle type was selected. As a result, the best model for all models was selected as the CBR model, and the contribution and direction of the features were confirmed by visualizing Tree SHAP Value for the best model for each model. The implications of this study are expected to propose a used car price prediction model by vehicle type to sales officials using online platform services, confirm the attribution and direction of features, and help solve problems caused by asymmetry fo information between them.

Suggestion of Improving and Estimating Parking Space Section Considering Proper Position of Car-Stopper (카스토퍼 설치위치를 고려한 주차단위구획 산정 및 개선방안 제시)

  • The number of vehicles registered in Korea is rapidly increasing and will reach 18.26 million as of June 2011. The rapid increase of large-size passenger cars and RVs among this number is causing damage to other vehicles when parked in currently installed parking lots, increased civil complaints from the damage, and inconveniences to people trying to pass through parking lots as well. In particular, the car-stoppers indiscriminately installed at the parking lots are also causing accidents and adding to parking problems, causing economic losses. Accordingly, there should be new regulations for the amount of parking space per vehicle and for locations to install the car-stoppers. The research has first reviewed the distribution ratio of vehicle models from home and abroad for the width and length of the vehicles by each model, parking space per vehicle where the car-stoppers are installed and examples of changes in distribution ratio. In addition, the amount of parking space per vehicle was calculated with consideration for various specifications by each car model. As a result, margin width of full sized car is decreased by 18~21mm on the existing width. This is judged decreases accident of parking lot, because length of the front of car is not deviate parking Space Section. In conclusion, presented improvement ideas for parking plans with enhanced convenience and safety from the aspect of the drivers. Parking lot relevant businesses will also be maximized in terms of cost and efficiency when the criteria for the structure of parking lots and their installation is established and the improved parking plan is applied in the future.

Estimation of Acceleration Rates of Bus and Passenger car at Signalized Intersections (신호교차로에서 버스와 승용차의 발진가속도 측정)

  • The maximum and mean acceleration rates of vehicles estimated from the stopping conditions at signalized intersections provided an important clue to analyze traffic accident investigation when there was a dispute about legal liability such as first entering vehicle at the intersection, etc. This paper provided the maximum and mean acceleration rates of vehicles reflecting current traffic conditions in Korea through field studies. The mean acceleration rates of vehicles at stopline were measured up to 50m at the intervals of 5m. Results showed that the mean acceleration rate for bus was found to be $1.011^m/s^2{\sim}1.314^m/s^2$(0.1g~0.13g), and for passenger car was $1.548^m/s^2{\sim}1.818^m/s^2$(0.16g~0.19g). Statistical test results indicated that the observed differences from vehicle types and vehicle positions were statistically significant for the all ranges tested. It is expected that the accuracy of accident investigation practice will be improved by applying the acceleration rate values presented in this paper.

  • 고속도로를 주행하는 차량에 작용하는 순간적인 강풍은 차량의 주행경로이탈, 차체의 수평회전 과다와 전도를 발생시키는 원인이 되며, 이로 인한 교통사고는 치명적인 대형사고로 이어질 가능성이 높다. 최근에 건설되거나 추진중인 고속도로는 고속운행에 필요한 도로선형을 확보하기 위해 계곡부를 통과하는 높은 위치에 교량을 건설하거나 산악터널을 내는 경우가 많으며, 지형적인 특성으로 발생하는 국지적인 강풍의 영향이 매우 크기 때문에 적극적인 강풍저감대책이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 강풍 발생지역을 주행중인 차량의 안전성 및 쾌적성확보를 위하여 차량의 동역학적 거동을 규명하고 차종별 주행속도와 순간풍속의 상관관계를 정립하였다. 또한 차량사고의 영향인자별 분석을 통하여 기존에 제시된 연구결과와 기준안에 대한 고찰을 실시하였고, 강풍발생 지역을 통과하는 차량에 대한 규제와 운영방법에 대해 위험풍속을 정의하고 차량속도규제(안)을 제시하였다.

  • 당협회에서는 금년도 상반기에도 교통부, 치안본부, 한국도로공사의 후원으로 2차에 걸쳐 고속도로상의 휴게소에서 무료로 타이어 점검 및 서비스를 실시하였다. 금년도 상반기 점검결과도 작년도와 마찬가지로 타이어 정비불량율이 무려 46%에 달하였으며, 차종별로는 트럭이 58%로서 가장 불량하였다. 정비불량항목으로는 과마모가 제일 많아 42%나 되었으며, 특히 트럭에 많았다. 관광버스에는 재생타이어를 끼고 고속도로를 운행하고 있는 것이 39%나 되었으며, 또한 겨울철 눈올 때에만 사용토록 되어 있는 Snow타이어를 봄, 여름까지 계속 사용하고 있는 차량이 7%나 되어 발열에 의한 사고의 위험성이 많았다.

  • 당협회에서는 금년도에도 교통부, 치안본부, 한국도로공사의 후원으로 4차에 걸쳐 고속도로의 휴게소에서 무료 타이어 점검 및 서비스를 실시하였다. 금년도의 점검결과도 예년과 마찬가지로 타이어 정비불량률이 무려 45%에 달하고 있으며, 차종별로는 승용차가 53%로 가장 불량한 것으로 나타났으나, 이는 주로 공기압부적 차량이고, 실제로 타이어 정비상태가 가장 불량한 것은 트럭으로서 52%였다. 정비불량항목으로는 과마모가 제일 많아 전체 타이어 정비불량건수중 43%를 차지하였으며 트럭에 가장 많았다. 특히 관광버스에는 재생 타이어 취부률이 35%나 되었고 또한 트럭에는 눈올 때에만 사용토록 되어 있는 스노 타이어를 봄, 여름, 가을까지 계속 사용하고 있는 차량이 13%나 되어 발열에 의한 트레드 세페레이션 (Tread SEparation) 사고의 위험성이 많았다.

  • 당 협회에서는 금년도 상반기에도 교통부, 치안본부, 한국도로공사의 후원으로 2차에 걸쳐 고속도로상의 휴게소에서 무료로 타이어점검 및 서비스를 실시하였다. 금년도 상반기 점검결과 타이어 정비불량률은 예년에 비하여 다소 감소되기는 하였으나 아직도 전체 점검차량의 36%나 되었으며, 차종별로는 트럭이 57%로 가장 불량한 것으로 나타났다. 정비불량항목으로는 과마모가 제일 많아 전체 타이어 정비불량건수 중 33%를 차지하였으며, 특히 관광버스에는 재생 타이어를 끼고 고속도로를 운행하고 있는 것이 28%나 되었고, 눈 올 때에만 사용하도록 되어 있는 Snow타이어를 계절에 관계없이 계속 사용하고 있는 차량이 14%나 되어 발열에 의한 Tread Separation 사고의 위험성이 많았다.

Analysis of PM (Personal Mobility) Traffic Accident Caracteristics and Cause of Death (PM (Personal Mobility) 교통사고 특성 및 사망사고 발생 요인 분석)

  • In this study, PM accidents (1,603case) and bicycle accidents (14,672case) that occurred in the last three years were analyzed to determine the characteristics of PM traffic accidents. In particular, PM traffic accidents were divided into perpetrators and victims to determine the characteristics in detail. For PM accidents, the analysis was conducted on the status of each road grade, road type, weather condition, accident type, day and night occurrence, and vehicle type. The number of PM accidents that occurred in 2019 increased by 129%, and deaths increased by more than 200% compared to the previous year. The proportion of pedestrian accidents among PM traffic accidents was higher than that of bicycle accidents. Therefore, regulations on PM traffic are necessary. For the 20 deaths of PM, a detailed analysis was conducted to analyze the factors of traffic accidents. PM fatalities occurred in 50% of vehicle accidents, and 7 out of 10 vehicle accidents occurred at night. This is believed to have been caused by falling or overturning due to an obstacle, such as a depression in the road pavement or a speed bump.

  • In this paper, it was performed the analysis on various intersection acoustic patterns for detection rate improvement of accident sound detection system : an acoustic pattern analysis on general traffic noise, an acoustic pattern analysis on engine noise, an acoustic pattern analysis on obstruct factors for accident sound detection system. There are remarkable differences between the acoustic patterns of traffic noise and accident sound, and we most consider the acoustic patterns when we compose the accident traffic detection system by acoustic because there is error range of 20[dB] according to the volume of traffic in intersection.

  • 본 논문에서는 교통사고 데이터베이스 구축을 통해 교통사교 현황과 사고 당시의 여러 정황들을 파악할 수 있는 정보를 제공한다. 이 정보들에는 사고 당시의 기상상태, 도로형태, 차종, 연령, 성별 등의 데이터들이 포함되고 이러한 정보들을 바탕으로 데이터베이스 사용자들은 각 사고 별 종합적인 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 이를 통해 정부 당국 외에 보험사 등에 교통사고 관련 정책을 위한 유용한 정보들을 제공할 수 있다. 또한 운전자 개인들에게도 정보들을 제공해 교통사고를 보다 효율적으로 예방할 수 있다.
