폴리머계 단일 및 이중구조 방음패널의 차음특성 비교분석 (Comparison of Sound Transmission through Single and Double-layer Polymer Panels)

  • 본 연구에서는 PC, PMMA, HDPE, PP를 소재로 한 방음패널의 두께와 구조적 특성, 소재가 차음성능에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 각 소재로 구성된 단일 패널의 음향투과손실을 비교한 결과, PC, PMMA, HDPE, PP 순으로 음향투과손실이 높게 나타났으며, 질량법칙에 따르는 결과임을 확인하였다. 단일패널의 두께에 따른 투과손실을 비교해보면, 4 mm 단일패널에 비해 8 mm 두께의 투과손실이 약 5~6 dB(A) 크게 측정되었다. 또한 두께가 2배가 됨에 따라 일치효과 주파수가 낮아져 4,000~5,000 Hz에서 투과손실이 감소하는 영역이 발생하였으며, 4 mm 단일패널보다 투과손실이 작았다. 두 개의 4 mm 패널 사이에 공기층을 두어 이중으로 구성한 실험체를 대상으로 한 투과손실 실험 결과, 300 Hz 이하의 주파수에서는 동일한 두께인 8 mm의 단일패널과 효과가 비슷하였으며, 2,000 Hz 이상의 고주파수 대역에서 8 mm 단일패널에 비해 효과가 매우 뛰어났다. 반면 공명(resonance) 주파수와 인접한 500~630 Hz 대역에서 투과손실이 낮아지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서 제시된 스터드-런너 골조형 벽체시스템은 일반구조용 각형강관(열간성형강)을 구조부재로 사용하여 벽체를 구성하고, 수평부재인 런너에 의해 보강되어 있기 때문에 스틸하우스와 비교하여 단위벽체의 내력성능 증가 및 좌굴에 대한 효율적 거동을 기대할 수 있으며, 또한 경량기포콘크리트를 충전함으로써 차음성능 및 단열의 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 이와 같은 시스템을 중 저층(3~5층)규모의 공동주택 및 사무실건물에까지 적용하기 위해, 런너의 설치간격과 경량기포콘크리트의 타설효과를 변수로 하여 실제규모의 단위벽체를 시험체로 제작하여 연직하중 및 수평하중에 대한 내력성능평가가 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 경량기포콘크리트의 타설효과를 고려하여 연직하중에 대한 축내력성능평가와 수평하중에 대한 전단내력성능평가를 통해 스터드-런너 골조형 벽체시스템의 구조적성능을 분석하고자 한다.

  • Apartment Buildings have particularity to cluster together, especially, floor is close to resident, it is subject to dissatisfaction about impact noise between up and down floors. However, we require standard for counterplan to reduce the impact noise of floor. In point of fact, it difficult to objective evaluate for performance sound insulation that not physical sound volume but orignal form, means and effect of sound caused to complex noise in apartment house. Unique type of dwelling and structure pattern cause to noise of floor impact which is established by law for standard regulation. It is object to analysis and compare the result of performance sound insulation of upper floor impact and sample construct the subject resilient material of sound insulator

  • Sound transmission loss (TL) is experimently investigated on the multi-layered panel used for the floor of a tilting train. Measurement of the intensity transmission loss is performed according to ASTM E 2249-02. The floor structure consists of corrugated steel panel, glass wool, plywood and cover. On the corrugated steel panel, TL drop by local resonance is considered and the TL improvement effect by damping treatment is estimated. Total sound transmission loss of the entire floor structure is obtained and the contribution of each layer is examined.

  • The noise sources in ship and offshore structure have an influence on adjacent receiving area through a partition between noise sources and receiving area. The partition in ship is usually made of stiffened plate. Sound transmission loss (STL) of the partition at high frequency could be improved by additional installation of insulation or wall panel. At low frequency, however, it is very difficult and needs an increase of plate thickness which causes a considerable weight increase of ship. In this paper, we have investigated the effect of the bulkhead boundary condition. From measurement result, we found that the bulkhead boundary condition can affect a lot in STL, especially at low frequency range. Finally, we get the 5dB increase in STL through the modification of boundary condition.

  • Aluminum extruded panel used in a high speed train shows high stiffness, however, its sound insulation performance is remarkably decreased by local resonance phenomena. In this paper, improvement strategy of the sound insulation performance is proposed for the floor extruded panel used in HEMU-400x, 400km/h class next generation high speed train under development, and the improvement effect is verified by experiment. Aluminum extruded panel specimen for the floor is manufactured and urethane foam is installed in the core of the panel. Based on ASTM E2249-02, intensity transmission loss is measured and the improvement effect in local resonance frequency band is verified. Finally, improvement effect of the sound insulation performance is estimated on the layered floor structure including the foamed aluminum panel.

  • In this study, sound transmission loss (STL) is investigated on the multi-layered windows used in the KTX-sancheon and next generation HEMU-400x high speed train. Using TLOSS, which is developed as a special purpose STL analysis program, STLs of the multi-layered glass windows are analytically investigated and compared with the mass law result. Window specimens for the two train models are manufactured and intensity transmission losses are measured based on ASTM E2249-02. The problems in aspect of sound insulation are diagnosed on the two window models. The aim of this study is to provide useful data for the improvement of the interior noise in the high speed train.

  • Recently, the structural system of public residential buildings has been changed from the reinforced concrete (RC) wall system to the (PC) wall and moment resisting systems. Thus, it is important to develop the suitable wall system in accordance with the trend of the modern structural system. This paper presents the basic study on the suitable boundary wall in high-rise buildings. The research also demonstrates the evaluation results on sound characteristics in the aspect of sound insulation. The evaluation of sound insulation capability for the commercialized wall structure was conducted based on literature survey while the measurement of sound insulation capability for the light-weght EPP concrete was performed in according to KS F2808 in laboratory. The main objective of this research is to propose the most suitable dry wall system as a sound insulation structure through the comparison and analysis of frequency characteristics and weight-acoustic attenuation.

  • This study is aimed to evaluate a tunneling effect in the laboratory measurement of sound transmission loss. Based on the formulation for sound transmission loss of a finite panel in the presence of tunnel, variations of the sound transmission loss with the parameters of panel location and tunnel depth are investigated. In comparison with the transmission loss of a finite plate in an infinite rigid baffle, the maximum difference occurs in the laboratory measurement when the panel is placed at the center of the tunnel, while a better estimation of true transmission loss is obtained when the panel is located at either end.

  • With the advantages of large vibration energy dissipation of structures, the granular materials are used as vibration and acoustic treatments. In this case of vibro acoustic controls, a finite dynamic strength of the solid component (frame) is an important design factor. The dynamic stiffness of hollow cylindrical beams containing porous and granular materials as damping treatment was measured. Using the Rayleigh-Ritz method, the effects of damping materials on the dynamic characteristics of beams were investigated. The results suggested that the acoustic structure Interaction between the frame and the structure enhances the dissipation of the vibration energy significantly. The same methods were applied also to vibration control of sandwich panels. By filling the cavities of honeycomb cores using unconsolidated granular materials, its sound transmission toss was improved significantly.
