In this research, we tried to check the applicability of a Chow test to the linear models which are generated in the process of transportation planning or traffic flow analyses. The Chow test is a very popular statistical method which is being used to see if the coefficients from two separate linear regression models are equal or not. In order to prove the effectiveness of the Chow test, we found the linear relationships between speed and density under the situations such as driving in daytime and in nighttime on a rainy day. Based on the two months of Joong-Bu Expressway traffic data, we proved that the Chow test is useful to testify the similarity between two linear regression models. And this statistical tool seems to be able to have a very important role in traffic flow analysis or in transportation planning process. Finally, we expect the Chow test be implemented even to the non-linear regression models or to the multi-variate models.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the actual self congruity and the ideal self congruity on positive attitudes toward city through fictitious city brand experiments. Additionally, the moderating role of city brand personality in relationship between brand-self congruity and positive attitudes are examined. This research conducted a survey after developing scenarios of two city brand personality. Frequency analysis to identify the characteristics of respondents, t-test to check the experimental manipulation, multiple regression analysis and chow test for hypothesis testing were performed through the SPSS Statistics 21 program. The self congruity of city brand had significant effects on attitudes toward city, but the moderating role of city brand personality was not significant. Theoretical and managerial implications of the findings were discussed and self congruity is an important variable in brand-consumer relationship in city brand. Finally, limitations of this study and future research directions were discussed.

본 논문에서는 단일 전력변환 준-공진 플라이백 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터는 기존의 플라이백 컨버터로 구성되며 별도의 역률 개선 회로를 사용하지 않고 새로운 제어 알고리즘을 이용하여 고역률을 구현한다. 또한 준-공진을 이용하여 소프트 스위칭을 함으로써 스위칭 손실을 최소화한다. 제안된 회로의 동작원리와 제어 알고리즘을 설명하고, 최종적으로 90W급 전원회로의 시작품을 제작하여 실험을 통해 제안하는 회로의 이론적 해석을 검증한다.

스니펫 추출은 정보검색에서 주요한 문서 정보를 짧은 문단 형태로 보여주는 것으로 사용자가 검색결과를 좀 더 효율적으로 확인할 수 있게 도와준다. 그러나 기존 스니펫은 어휘가 일치하는 문장을 찾아 보여주기에 검색의도가 반영되기 어렵다. 또한 의미적 정답을 찾기 위해 질의응답 방법론이 응용되고 있지만 오픈 도메인 환경에서 품질이 낮은 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 스니펫 추출, 의도 부착, 검증 3단계로 스니펫을 추출하여 추출된 스니펫이 질의 의도에 적합하게 추출되도록 하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과 전통적인 스니펫보다 만족도가 높은 것을 보였고, 스니펫 추출만 했을 때보다 의도 부착, 검증을 하였을 때 정확도가 0.3165만큼 향상되는 것을 보였다.

Soil Aquifer Treatment (SAT) is a technique in which secondary- or tertiary-treated wastewater is infiltrated through unsaturated soil and stored in the saturated zone. In SAT, contaminants are removed by physical and biochemical reactions taking place in soils. In this study, a numerical model was developed to predict changes in water quality during SAT operations. The contaminant species considered in the model were ammonium, nitrate, dissolved organic carbon, and dissolved oxygen. The model was calibrated against experimental data obtained from one dimensional soil column tests conducted for 84 days. The calibrated model will be used to find out optimum conditions for the pilot- and regional-scale SAT operations to be scheduled for the next phase of this project.

본 논문은 새로운 단일전력변환 SEPIC(Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converter)-ZETA 절연형 양방향 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터는 SEPIC과 ZETA 컨버터가 결합된 구조로 절연을 통해 안정성을 강화했고, DC측 리플 전류가 낮아 에너지 저장장치의 수명을 연장시킨다. 그리고 SEPIC 컨버터 모드(DC/AC)와 ZETA 컨버터 모드(AC/DC)에서의 입출력 전압비가 동일해 양방향 제어 알고리즘이 간단하다. 또한, 기존 two-stage 구성의 양방향 컨버터와 달리 회로가 단순하며, 단일전력변환을 통한 고효율 저비용의 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이론적 해석 및 제안한 컨버터의 250W급 시작품을 이용한 실험결과를 통해 컨버터의 우수성 및 성능을 검증한다.

본 논문에서는 ESS 구성을 위한 고효율 3-레벨 양방향 인버터를 제안한다. 제안된 인버터는 저주파 레그와 고주파 레그로 구성되어, dc-link 전압과 계통간의 양방향 전력 변환을 수행한다. 제안된 인버터는 3-레벨의 전압을 제공하며 기존 풀브리지 타입의 2-레벨 인버터에 비해 고조파 성분이 적고 필터의 크기를 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 소자들에 걸리는 전압 스트레스가 낮고 동작 중에 스위칭 소자의 바디 다이오드를 사용하지 않기 때문에 도통 손실과 스위칭 손실을 최소화 할 수 있다. 따라서 제안하는 양방향 인버터는 기존 2-레벨 인버터 대비 높은 계통 전류 품질과 높은 효율을 제공한다. 최종적으로 시제품을 제작하여 제안하는 양방향 인버터의 타당성을 검증하였다.

The analog or partly digital typed interface of main control room in nuclear power plant (NPP) is gradually being replaced to the totally digitalized interface suitable for the digital environment. SKN 3,4 Nuclear Power Plant is currently developed in such a way to employ advanced displays and controls such as computerized procedure system(CPS), large display panel(LDP), and Soft control. According to the developed design process, the main control room (MCR) of the SKN3,4 was aesthetically designed based on a design concept of the health and sustainability and technically evaluated with human factors guidelines, which somehow lack of the confidence on the evaluation for the rapidly changing digital environment. The suitable review guideline for the digitalized interface and the environment was developed such as the guideline for CPS with information displays on VDU. For the guideline development, tremendous guidelines and technical papers related to evaluation issues of digital environment has been collected, analyzed and transformed to electric database forms and then built on database management system, called Design Review Supporting System to retrieve the appropriate issues for the practical usage of evaluators-in-field.

This study predicts damaging risk factors in apartment fire situation by using CFAST. The software was developed by Building and Fire Research Lab, that is government affiliated organization of the National Institute of Standards Technology. This analysis scenarios werec well verified by experimental results. Situation of the living room and the second room as well as the bedroom tends to be qualitatively the same with the experimental data. In case of apartment fire, it is predicted that they have been got into trouble with dizziness, badly vomiting and paralysis symptoms due to short oxygen and excessive carbon dioxide when persons were left out in the living room or second room.

CAE 와 같은 고충실도 대용량 엔지니어링 데이터의 시공간 정밀 분석검증을 위해서는 고해상도 몰입형 가시화 기술과 더불어 이를 직관적이고 효율적으로 제어하기 위한 휴먼 인터페이스 기술이 중요하다. 최근 대중화에 근접한 HMD 기기 및 컨트롤러를 이용한 응용 연구가 발표되고 있고, 이를 통해 엔지니어 위주의 정적 분석환경을 벗어나, 설계/해석/운용 전문가들의 동적 협업분석 환경 제공이 가능한 몰입형 가시화 환경 및 휴먼 인터페이스 기술이 적용되고 있다. 하지만 CAE 해석지원을 위한 대화면 몰입형 가시화 환경에서 사용가능한 직관적 인터페이스기술에 대한 연구는 미진한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 신체의 자연스러운 움직임으로 가상현실을 탐색하고 데이터 조작을 구현할 수 있는 몰입형 가시화 전용의 휴먼 인터페이스 및 연동기술에 대한 연구과정을 소개한다.
