The System of Arresting Wanted Vehicles for Violent Crimes for Public Safety (국민안전을 위한 강력범죄 수배차량 검거시스템)

  • The final goal of this study is to develop a system that can analyze whether a wanted vehicle is a criminal vehicle from images collected from black boxes, smartphones, CCTVs, and so on. Data collection was collected using a self-developed black box. The used data in this study has used a total of 83,753 cases such as the eight vehicle types(truck, RV, passenger car, van, SUV, bus, sports car, electric vehicle) and 434 vehicle models. As a result of vehicle recognition using YOLO v5, mAP was found to be 80%. As a result of identifying the vehicle model with ReXNet using the self-developed black box, the accuracy was found to be 99%. The result was verified by surveying field police officers. These results suggest that improving the accuracy of data labeling helps to improve vehicle recognition performance.

Clustering based Routing Algorithm for Efficient Emergency Messages Transmission in VANET (차량 통신 네트워크에서 효율적인 긴급 메시지 전파를 위한 클러스터링 기반의 라우팅 알고리즘)

  • Vehicle Ad hoc Network (VANET) is next-generation network technology to provide various services using V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure). In VANET, many researchers proposed various studies for the safety of drivers. In particular, using the emergency message to increase the efficiency of traffic safety have been actively studied. In order to efficiently transmit to moving vehicle, to send a quick message to as many nodes is very important via broadcasting belong to communication range of vehicle nodes. However, existing studies have suggested a message for transmission to the communication node through indiscriminate broadcasting and broadcast storm problems, thereby decreasing the overall performance has caused the problem. In addition, theses problems has decreasing performance of overall network in various form of road and high density of vehicle node as urban area. Therefore, this paper proposed Clustering based Routing Algorithm (CBRA) to efficiently transmit emergency message in high density of vehicle as urban area. The CBRA managed moving vehicle via clustering when vehicle transmit emergency messages. In addition, we resolve linkage problem between vehicles according to various form of road. The CBRA resolve link brokage problem according to various form of road as urban using clustering. In addition, we resolve broadcasting storm problem and improving efficacy using selection flooding method. simulation results using ns-2 revealed that the proposed CBRA performs much better than the existing routing protocols.

A Study on the Relation between the Headway and the Vehicle Deceleration of the Personal Rapid Transit System (개인 고속 이동 시스템에서 운전시격과 차량의 감속도에 관한 상관관계의 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) 시스템의 성능과 시스템의 안전에 영향을 미치는 PRT 시스템의 운전시격(Headway)에 대해서 다룬다. 어떤 차량과 다음 차량과의 운전 간격을 나타내는 운전시격은 대중교통수단에서 교통 혼잡의 문제를 풀 수 있는 중요한 단서가 되는 성로용량을 평가하는 중요한 인자들 중의 하나이다. 운전시격을 결정하기 위한 중요한 인자들에는 고장 차량의 감속비, 고장차량의 후미에 있는 차량의 비상 제동 감속비, 차량의 선로속도, 차량의 제동을 위한 지연시간 등이 있다. 이들 인자들을 이용한 간단한 해석적 방정식은 차량의 선속도, 감속도와 운전시격에 대한 상관관계를 예측할 수 있도록 해준다. 본 논문에서는 간단한 해석 방정식을 이용한 수치 해석적 방법을 통해서 최소 운전시격에 대한 평가를 예를 간단한 모의시험을 통해서 보인다.

  • In this paper, a system which uses Bluetooth and Zigbee wireless communication and mobile device is designed. The temperature within vehicle and the distance betweeen the vehicle and the obstacle is measured by ultrasonic sensor system. The measured data is sent to the mobile PDA and displayed to assist safe driving.
