Current Status and Challenges of Career Education & Guidance Teacher System in Korea (진로 진학 상담 교사 제도의 현황과 과제)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the career guidance counselor system and to explore the challenges of the career guidance counselor system in the future. The results of the study are as follows: First, in the case of the career counseling teacher system, ① The qualifications for career counseling teachers are through regular education and training according to the law. ② After acquiring the qualifications for career advancement counseling, receiving an appointment to become a subject teacher for 'career advancement counseling' is subject to another selection criteria. ③ At least one career counseling teacher must be assigned to each school. ④ The common job of secondary career counseling teachers suggested by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education consists of 15 items, focusing on the task of overseeing school career education as the head of the career counseling department. are presenting ⑤ The Ministry of Education is using a career guidance model as a guideline for career guidance to be referenced when providing career guidance in secondary schools. Second, the task of the career counseling teacher system is to examine the theoretical basis of the career guidance model presented in the ① Career Guidance Guidelines. ② It is necessary to transform former teachers into career teachers. ③ It is necessary to expand the number of career guidance counselors currently assigned to middle and high schools. ④ It is necessary to expand subject-integrated career education.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest problems and directions for improvement, focusing on the master's course at the Graduate School of Education, among the career guidance counselor training programs. First, in the case of career education counseling major education graduate school fostering system, ① 3 universities in Seoul, 2 in Gyeonggi-do, 1 in Incheon, 1 in Gangwon, 1 in Daegu, 1 in Jeonbuk, 3 in Chungnam, and 1 in Chungbuk, a total of 13 Opened in 20 universities. ② Most schools operate in a dual system. ③ As a major in career counseling, there is a maximum of 26 courses and a minimum of 10 courses for the master's course in the graduate school of education. Second, what are the problems and improvement directions of the career counseling graduate school training system? ① It is necessary to prepare a standardized curriculum. ② It is necessary to operate education to strengthen connection with the local community. ③ There is a need to resolve the level gap between the 13 graduate schools of education and the lack of faculty members at some universities. ④ Career education policy department of the Ministry of Education needs to periodically evaluate 13 education graduate schools. ⑤ The role of the career policy department of the Ministry of Education is to establish a mid- too long-term plan at the national level considering the demand and supply of career guidance counselors nationwide. ⑥ It is desirable to dualize the way to obtain a career guidance counselor license as it is now.

  • 실업계 고등학교는 산업계에 우수한 기능인력을 양성 공급하여 국가의 경제 발전에 그 동안 크게 이바지하여 왔다. 그러나 지식기반 사회의 도래에 따른 직업세계의 변화, 국민소득 향상과 핵가족화로 인한 고등교육에 대한 욕구 증대 등 제반 사회 환경의 변화로 인하여 최근 들어 진학위주의 교육풍토가 조성되면서 새로운 변화에 직면하고 있다. 해마다 진학을 희망하는 학생 수는 증가하고 있고, 대학 입시유형은 다양하고 복잡해지는데 비해 실업계 고등학교의 현실은 한 두 명의 진학담당 교사에 의해서 대부분의 업무가 처리되고 있다. 진학을 희망하는 학생들을 조사하여 진학관련 자료를 별도로 작성한 후 상담을 할 경우 일일이 찾아야 하는 불편함과 한 학생이 여러 대학을 지원할 수 있기 때문에 상담 시 많은 시간이 소요되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 보다 효율적이고 체계적으로 진학지도에 도움이 될 수 있도록 웹을 기반으로 한 진학 정보 시스템을 설계 구현하였다.

  • It was difficult for high school teachers to guide the careers of their students on the behalf of the time and place limits. Accumulation and sharing datum about career guidance was not easy, either. This study aims at more systematic and objective career guidance and counseling by overcoming the current problems using Data Mining Techniques for career guidance. Moreover, the systems can also be helpful to students who use this positive search system based on world wide web for the career information on the basis of their own need.

Job Implementation of In-service Training on Career Education & Guidance Teacher's Career Education Training for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era (4차 산업혁명시대 대비한 진로진학상담교사 진로교육 직무연수의 현업적용도)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the job implementation of in-service training on career education & guidance teacher's career education in the National Education Training Institute. To accomplish this purpose, pre-survey & pre-survey, sucess case method, and return on expectation were investigated after 3 months completing in-service teacher training. The populations of this study were conducted for 136 career education & guidance teachers who completed in-service teacher training at the National Education Training Institute in July, 2018, and it was conducted by survey research and qualitative content analysis of job implementation. Among the 136 trainees who completed the training, 75 responded to the job implementation survey and 4 people participated in the successful case technique. As a result, the average value of job implementation was 4.17 out of 5 points, which was relatively high. The success case technique was analyzed by interviewing success cases and failure cases. Behavior change according to job implementation was the biggest role of Planner, followed by role of Instructor, role of Career educator, role of Learner. In addition, the case analysis provided the opinions of the interviewers in terms of motivation, competence, and environment for job implementation. In terms of the return on expectation, 85.3% of the respondents were positive, and the net promoter score was .85, indicating that the participants were satisfied with their willingness to participate in the training again. Based on the results of this study, we suggest that it will be required to study about new training methods and extra factor analysis.

Admission Consultation Wizard System Based on Multi-Agent (멀티 에이전트 기반의 진학 상담 위저드 시스템)

  • The Internet is widely used by general people and the use of Internet is spread to all industrial fields. Especially, cyber education fields have been changed a lot with the Internet application development. One of them is the field of consultation for university admission. As for the business of university admission, there were two ways applicants handed in their applications directly to school which they applied to and to each place to receive applications or sent them through FAX. Recently, highlighted is the Internet environment to receive the application for admission which integrated organically the two ways. In this thesis, I designed and implemented on-line admission consulting system using of multi-agent. The examines can apply for safely and according to their conviction by recommending the university course suitable for their academic aptitude and scores with test KSAT(Scholastic Aptitude Test Administered by the Korean Ministry) and a university grade report on students' record using intelligent multi-agents and through a university course recommending wizard in the process of choosing it.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact and significance of married women's graduate school experiences, as well as to assess the differences in the images of a model woman and that of a real life married woman, and their implications in the aspect of social policies. Results showed that the reason married women enter graduate schools are psychological conflicts, feeling of emptiness, and self motivation for self realization. It was also found that once married women are in graduate school, they are faced with many difficulties such as balancing work and family lives, dealing with academic difficulties and physical / economic obstacles as they struggle to continue their studies. After exploring how the study participants overcame their difficulties and accomplished changes in their lives with the best use of available resources such as firm willingness to continue their studies and support from family and friends, this researcher wishes to present a sound guidance resulting from this study to married women who are preparing for graduate school.

  • 정보화 시대를 맞이하여 교육의 중요성이 커지면서 교사의 주 업무인 교과 업무 외에 다른 업무가 증가하고 있다. 그 중 하나인 학생 상담은 과거의 가정방문 기간까지 사라져 교사들이 큰 어려움을 느끼는 것 중 하나이며, 학생의 학교 상담에 대한 신뢰도와 참여율이 낮아서 신뢰도와 참여율을 높이는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 기존에 연구 되던 상담시스템의 개발은 거의 모든 부분이 진학이나 진로 상담 위주로 개발되어 왔으며, 정작 중요한 학생의 생활 상담에 대한 연구는 제대로 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 시간과 여건의 부족으로 학생에 대하여 문제아 학생이나 특수 학생의 상담위주로만 행해지던 생활 상담의 혜택을 일반 학생들에게도 줄 수 있고, 교사의 시간적인 효율성을 높이며 학생의 상담에 대한 부담감등의 해소와 학생에 다양한 정보 활용 등 상담 도우미 시스템의 요구사항, 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논한다.

  • 대학 입시 업무에서 원서 접수방식에 있어서 원서 접수를 하기 위해 학교에 직접 방문하여 접수하거나 각 지역 접수 창구와 팩스를 통해 원서를 접수하는데 이를 유기적으로 통합하여 관리할 수 있는 인터넷 원서 접수 환경이 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나, 각 대학의 입시 업무 성격, 특정 학과 선발 과정 등의 충분한 자료 검증이 수행되지 않은 인터넷 원서 접수는 수험생에게 혼란과 복잡성을 유발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 수험생에게 소신 지원 및 안정 지원을 위해 적합한 학과를 추천하여 수험생들의 인터넷 원서 접수를 하는데, 충분한 자료를 통해 적합한 학과를 추천해주는 지능형 진학 상담 에이전트 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.
