실리콘밸리는 보이지 않는 인적 네트워크(Human Network)로 움직인다. 실리콘밸리내 핵심정보와 세상 돌아가는 진짜 이야기는 인종별, 대학출신별, 출신기업별 소그룹 네트워크를 통해서만 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 실리콘밸리라고 하는 창조적 공간과의 연결고리 강화를 통해 미래기회를 선점하기 위한 수단으로서 $\ulcorner$한국계 벤처 네트워크$\lrcorner$ 를 촉진하는 방안에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 중국, 인도, 이스라엘 등 각 민족별 네트워크가 본국과 실리콘밸리간에 어떠한 협력관계를 보이고 있는가를 조사.분석한 후, 여러가지 가설을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 민족별 역사적 이민과정 및 배경에 따라 네트워크의 특성이 달라진다. 둘째, 본국의 산업발전 정도에 따라 본국과 실리콘밸리내 네트워크간의 관계가 달라진다. 셋째, 본국의 정책적 의지가 얼마나 강하냐에 따라 네트워크 활동의 강도도 달라진다. 넷째, 연구모형 인자간의 흐름방향에 따라 본국과 실리콘밸리 간의 역할 관계가 다르게 나타난다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 각 민족별 네트워크의 특성을 비교 분석한 후, 한국계 벤처 네트워크의 모델도 함께 제시하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 관찰 및 분석을 바탕으로, 한국계 Global Network 발전방안에 대한 정책적인 제안을 제시하였다.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is swiftly rising into a newly industrialized country by achieving economic prosperity among the Islamic cultural regions of Middle East and North Africa(MENA). Abu Dhabi Emirate is performing the conversion from oil economy to non-oil economy and the sustainable urban development policy. However, there are various social and environmental problems in Abu Dhabi. In order to solve the urban problems caused by the rapid economic growth and the changes in society and environment, Abu Dhabi is recognizing the importance of spatial information and triggering the establishment of spatial information. Spatial information is regarded as a basic infrastructure for urban construction and enlarged as a blue ocean market in Abu Dhabi. However, the base of spatial data infrastructure in Abu Dhabi is not well managed in comparison to that of Korea. Especially, Abu Dhabi has some characteristics that it depends on foreign multinational companies and it does not have its own systemic organization and law system. To advance into Abu Dhabi spatial data market under-controlled by global vendors, it is necessary to identify the advantage and disadvantage on spatial data infrastructure of Abu Dhabi and required to establish the advance methods into niche markets by considering priority order of spatial information. Thus, this study aims to analyze the gap of spatial information between Abu Dhabi and Korea and suggest the short and long term development methods for spatial data infrastructure of Abu Dhabi. The results of gap analyses will be the milestone for Korean companies' advance into MENA.

With urbanization projects involving trunk roads progressing, many simple interchanges, which separate passing traffic into the main traffic and access subtraffic, are being constructed to maximize the traffic capacity. Under the current Road Connection Rule, the access-prohibited section in an interchange is determined based on the access lane and limit distance in the complete interchange road, but separate criteria for the simple interchange are not defined. This may cause confusion in the Road Management Office's determination of the access-prohibited section in the simple interchange, or lead to the application of the criteria for the access-prohibited section in the complete interchange without considering the features of such interchange. This study conducted a comparative analysis of the domestic and overseas systems related to the installation of access section in trunk roads, such as general national roads. This paper presents a survey of the methods for applying the access-prohibited section in the interchange along with the actual cases and proposes improvement measures for a rational calculation of the access prohibited installation section in the simple interchange to minimize the downsides associated with the application of the extremely strict criteria. The proposed road connection rule improvement measures based on the consideration of the purpose of installing the simple interchange and on the consideration the features of the simple interchange are expected to prevent administration confusion by the field road management offices as well as the waste of unnecessary efforts and costs by petitioners so they can boost the service satisfaction for people and the administrative reliability.

전자정부 표준프레임워크는 공공부문 정보화 사업을 위해서 개발 보급되었으나, 최근 민간부문으로 확대 적용되면서 정부차원의 강제성 없이 자발적으로 오픈 플랫폼 생태계로 진화하기 시작하였다. 또한 전자정부 표준프레임워크는 세계 전자정부 1위의 대한민국에서의 성공적인 안착에 힘입어 개발 도상국을 중심으로 해외로도 확산 조짐을 보이고 있다. 본고에서는 최근 내수 시장의 한계 및 국내 SW 산업 정책이 중소기업 중심으로 이루어지면서 대형 IT서비스 기업들의 해외진출 전략이 공격적으로 전환되고 있는 시점에서 전자정부 표준프레임워크를 중심으로 국내 기업의 장점을 살리면서 단점을 극복할 수 있는 성공 전략에 대해 알아본다.

글로블 대형요트산업은 리먼사태 때 잠시 주춤했지만 여전히 고속성장하는 고부가가치산업으로, 이탈리아, 네덜란드 터키 등 유럽의 해양레저선진국이 거의 시장을 주도하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 아직 대형요트를 건조한 실적은 전무하지만, 중소형조선소가 경제적 어려움을 겪는 현시점에서 국내 조선기술, 부품소재기술, ICT 등 관련기술수준을 감안한다면 진출해볼만한 신성장분야인 것은 분명하다. 이 연구에서는 메가요트 국산화 개발방안을 제시하고자 한다.

황금의 연구년에도 대학연구실에서 바쁜 일정을 보내고 있는 숙명여대 화학과 김영자교수. 70년대 초 미국 유학에서 돌아와 대학 강단에 선 김교수는 25년동안 과학평론ㆍ해설ㆍ에세이 등 저술활동과 방송출연을 통해 과학대중화에 앞장서 왔다. 과학기술계의 남녀 성차별은 극복돼야 할 과제라고 말하는 김교수는 지난해 "여성인력첨단과학기술분야 진출 활성화 방안"이란 정무장관실 학술용역 연구보고서를 작성해 관심을 모으기도 했다.

대한설비건설협회는 지난 2월 21일 설비건설회관 대회의실에서 제48회 정기총회를 개최하고 2013회계연도 사업계획을 수립했다. 2013년도 사업추진의 기본방향은 ▲설비건설의 원도급시장 진출 확대 ▲회원사의 하도급 환경개선 추진, ▲기계설비 미래 발전을 위한 기계설비기준법 추진 및 녹색건축물조성지원법을 통한 기계설비 위상강화 방안 등이며 이밖에 회원사의 적정공사비 확보 및 정부 위탁업무의 공정하고 신속한 처리 등에 역점을 두고 있다.

사진의 디지털화가 진행되면서 시장이 위축되었던 인화시장이 살아날 조짐을 보이고 있다. PC나 메모리에 저장되어 있던 사진들을 인화시장으로 이끌어내기 위한 갖가지 방안이 업계를 주축으로 활발히 연구되고, 새로운 대안이 제시되고 있다. 한국후지필름은 '포토이즈'라는 신 개념의 사진점포를 선보이며 신개념의 사진문화를 선도해 가고 있는 가운데, 최근에는 프린터 업체인 한국HP가 'HP포토카페'라는 사진인화점을 통해 사진인화시장 진출을 선언하고 나서 기존 필름업계가 장악해온 사진인화시장에 일대 변화가 예고되고 있다. 따라서 향후 사진인화시장을 놓고 기존 필름업계와 프린터업계 중 어느 쪽이 주도권을 갖고 갈 것인지에 대해서도 관심이 높아지고 있다.

대한인쇄문화협회(회장 김남수)는 지난 8월 29일부터 9월 2일까지 5일간 중국 북경의 중국국제전람중심신관에서 중국도서진출구(집단)총공사의 주최로 개최된 제19회 중국국제도서전에 한국관을 조성해 참가했다. 75개국 2000여개사가 참가하고 약 30만명이 참관한 이번 도서전에 인협은 급속히 성장하는 중국 인쇄 시장 진출을 위한 구체적인 정보 수집 및 방안을 모색하고, 우리나라의 인쇄 문화와 인쇄기술의 우수성을 홍보하며, 적극적인 상담을 통해 수출 진흥을 도모했다.
