To examine the next following day party and the next following evening party in the Man Kyong Geon, the authors analyzed“Jin Chan Eui Gue”, which is a historical record, published in 1887(King Go-Jong). The results obtained from the study were as follows, 1. The dining tables of next following day party were composed of two types:fixed arranging tables(22), and taking-away tables. 2. The dinind tables of next following evening party were also composed of two types:fixed arranging tables(6), and taking-away tables. 3. Food and flowers were distributed to the 290 attendants at the next following evening party. 5. According to the status or class of the attendants, the pattern or size of table settings were differentiated in the kinds of food, heights of food, flowers china ware etc. 6. Arrangements of the next following day party and the next following evening party were the same as those of the main party. 7. The arranged seat of the Crown Prince was facing the west. 8. In the arrangements of tables for the Crown Prince, the heights of food on dishes as following levels, 1 dish : 1chok(1척) 6 dishes : 8 chon(8촌) 5 dishes : 7 chon(촌)

To examine the royal party procedures of Chosun-Dynasty, the authors analyzed“Jin Chan Eui Gue”, which is a historical record, published in 1887(King Go-Jong), on the party of royal family in the Man Kyong Jeon. The results obtained from the study were as follows. 1. The Main party and the evening party in the Man Kyong Jeon were the drinking ceremony in celebration of eigthieth birthday of the King Go-Jong's grandmother. 2. The following day party and the following evening party in the Man Kyong Jeon were the drinking ceremony for wishing the King Go-Jong good health. 3. The next following day party and the next following evening party in the Man Kyong Jeon were the drinking ceremony for wishing the Crown Prince good health. 4. In the following day party and the next following day party, there were procedures distributing flowers among the attendants. 5. A lot of flowers were used in the royal party of Man Kyong Jeon:Distributed flowers(1550), Dining table flowers(5519), Table flowers(2) ad Neckwear flowers(7015).

The use of royal artificial flowers was finally found through schematics and records in Wonhaeng Eulmyojeongri Uigwe, which organized the procession to Hwaseong in 1795. The results of classifying the uses of artificial flowers in the brthday banquet at Bongsudang Hall in 1795 and considering the shape, user, and usage are as follows. According to literature records, artificial flowers were made with high-quality materials such as gold, silver, and silk thread in the early period, but were mainly made of paper in the later period. Artificial flowers were used for decorating official hats, Bongsudang Hall, and banquet tables. The Sagwonhwa was used for decoration of the official hats of members of the royal family, and the one on the top was called Eosam-Sagwonhwa. At the birthday banquet inBongsudang Hall, King Jeongjo and Hyegyeonggung used the Eosam-Sagwonhwa and put it on the right side of the official hats. Officials put peach blossom with two petals on the left side of the official hats for decoration. The artificial flowers for decoration of the official hats of musicians and dancers were more expensive and flashier than the officials' ones. Depending on the dance, several artificial flowers were inserted into the official hats. When measuring the size of artificial flowers, the scale used was when making a ceremonial article. For artificial flowers for decoration of the banquet hall, red and white peach blossoms were placed in two jars with dragons painted on them and them placed on two red-painted tables, respectively. The table and jar with flowers were tied together with a red cotton string and fixed so as not to fall over. The artificial flowers for decoration of the banquet table of King Jeongjo, Hyegyeonggung, and the king's sisters were a large lotus, medium-sized lotus, peony, rose, and specially made peach flowers. The artificial flowers for decoration of the banquet table of guests and officials were small lotuses and peach blossoms. The artificial flowers used in the birthday banquet at Bongsudang Hall the most were peach blossoms, and peaches had the meaning of longevity and exorcism. It is expected that the above research results will be helpful in understanding the characteristics and usage of artificial flowers in the period of King Jeongjo and use in reproducing royal feasts and producing traditional cultural contents.

GichukJinchanEuigwe is a celebration of King Soonjo's 40th birthday and 30th accession to the throne. The Royal banquet was carried out on February 9th MunggunggunJinchan and JagyeongjeonJeongilJinchan 3 days later. JagyeongjeonJeongilJinbyulhangua is located beside JagyeongjeonJinchanan. The banquet table setting, table, dish level, and table type are different according to royal hierarchy class. Jinbulhangua is served to only the king, queen, crown prince, crown princess, and Myongon princess. The number of JagyeongjeonJinchanan served was as follows: king 30 plates, crown prince 20 plates, and Myongon princess 15 plates. Tableware used were brassware and pottery.

This paper proposes a Video Browsing Service that provides both the video content retrieval and the video browsing by the real-time user interface on Web. For the scene segmentation and key frame extraction of video sequence, we proposes an efficient scene change detection method that combine the RGB color histogram with the ${\chi}2$ histogram.

This paper presents a shot boundary detection method based on the global decision tree that allows for extraction of boundaries of high variations occurring due to camera breaks from frame difference values. For a start, difference values between frames are calculated through local X2-histogram and normalization. Next, the distances between difference values are calculated through normalization.

This paper proposes a Scene Change Detection method using the local decision tree and clustering. The local decision tree detects cluster boundaries wherein local scenes occur, in such a way as to compare time similarity distributions among the difference values between detected scenes and their adjacent frames, and group an unbroken sequence of frames with similarities in difference value into a cluster unit.

A review of the royal banquet rituals which were excuted twice a day for consecutive three days for master were found to be progressed; 1st day for Queen Mother, 2nd day for King, 3rd day for Crown Prince very orderly. And performing dozens of dances and musics at each intervals of this procedure. The Sequence of rituals were summarized as follows. 1. Entering by order of low in rance. 2. Opening a ceremony. 3. Setting napkins, spoons and chopsticks and sumptuous table for master. 4. Offering flowers to master and then granting that flowers to subjects 5. Singing a open song. 6. Setting wine/side dishes for master and complimenting master's achievement/wellness. 7. Bowing politely three times and giving cheers. 8. Distributing wine/dishes to high ranked subjects. 9. Offering special dishes for master. 10. Distributing wine to low ranked subjects. 11. Singing a closing song. 12. Taking away tables. 13. Closing a banquet and leaving the hall.
