Development of Dementia Diagnosis System Using Virtual Reality Environment (가상현실 환경을 이용한 치매 진단 시스템 개발)

  • 지금까지 가상현실 기술은 진단적 도구로서 지금까지 다양한 분야에서 이용되어 왔다. 가상현실의 진단적 도구로써의 장점은 검사를 수행하고자 하는 실제 환경과 유사한 환경을 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다는 점과 편리성 및 안전성을 제공할 수 있다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 보다 간단하고 흥미롭게 치매를 진단하고 이에 대처할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 치매는 사회 고령화 추세에 따라 점점 더 문제가 증가되고 있으나 이에 대한 확실한 치료법은 아직까지 발표되지 않고 있는 실정이기 때문에 조기에 발견하고 대처하기 위한 필요성이 증가되고 있다. 제안된 시스템을 통해 사용자는 실제생활과 유사한 가상환경 속에서의 상황들을 수행함으로써 자신의 치매여부를 진단받을 수 있다. 또한, 검사결과는 의사에게 보다 정확한 진단을 수행할 수 있도록 도와주는 역할을 하며 실제 생활의 어떤 부분에서 어려움을 겪을 지를 판단할 수 있는 자료를 제공한다.

Predictable Effect and Usability of Smart-Phone Application for Elderly Dementia Prevention (노인치매예방 스마트폰 앱의 기대효과 및 유용성)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict the usefulness and predictable effects of the use of dementia prevention games and dementia management applications provided in smart-phones for the elderly. First, 6 dementia diagnostic tools used to verify the effectiveness of the dementia prevention program were selected and the cognitive domains tested by each diagnostic tool were extracted. Second, 29 smart-phone dementia prevention game applications and dementia management applications were selected and the expected effects after using these applications were analyzed in connection with the cognitive domain extracted from the dementia diagnosis tool. As a result, it was expected that it would be helpful to manage dementia prevention by improving cognitive function in certain areas when playing games or managing dementia continuously using smart-phone dementia prevention applications. Smart-phone dementia prevention applications will be useful in improving the cognitive ability of the elderly and preventing dementia by supplementing the limitations of the dementia prevention program that is operated offline through time-space ease of use, continuous usability and economic feasibility.

  • 관계형 DBMS 질의 최적화기는 기본적으로 통계정보(statistics), 선택도(selectivity), 카디널리티(cardinality), 비용(cost) 순으로 특정 실행 계획(Execution Plan)의 수행비용을 예측한다. 질의 최적화기가 최적의 실행 계획을 선택하는데 있어서 정확한 통계정보 유지와 올바른 선택도 그리고 카디널리티 예측이 무엇 보다 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 관계형 DBMS의 질의 최적화기가 비용을 계산하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 오류의 종류와 원인을 밝히고 각각의 오류에 대한 해결 방안을 진단 도구를 통하여 제시하도록 하겠다. 질의 최적화기의 오류로 인해 발생하는 잘못된 선택도와 카디널리티 예측을 인지하고 사용자에게 적절한 해결책을 제시한 후 실행 계획이 어떻게 바뀌었는지, 성능이 얼마나 향상되었는지를 확인하기 위해 진단 도구를 개발하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제시하는 질의 최적화기의 오류로 인한 문제를 가시적으로 확인할 수 있었으며, 부정확한 통계정보 유지와 잘못된 선택도 예측으로 인해 발생하는 문제가 어느 정도 해결된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 폐암은 전 세계적으로 사망률이 가장 높은 암 질환으로, 조기 발견 및 신속한 치료를 위해서는 흉부 X-ray 영상 내 악성 결절을 놓치지 않는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 흉부 X-ray 영상은 정밀도의 한계로 진단 결과에 대한 신뢰도가 낮아, 이를 보조하는 도구의 개발이 요구된다. 기존의 폐암 진단 보조 도구는 학습 기반의 기법으로, 진단 결과에 대한 설명성(explainability)이 없다는 위험성을 갖는다. 이에 본 논문에서는 통계 분석에 기반한 결절의 석회화 여부 진단 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 결절과 해부학적 구조물의 밝기 차 분포로부터 석회화 여부를 판단하며, 그 결과 민감도 65.22%, 특이도 88.48%, 정확도 83.41%의 성능을 보였다.

Development of Self Assessment Tool for Digital Literacy Competence (디지털 리터러시 역량의 자기진단 평가도구 개발)

  • This study aimed to develop a self-reporting assessment tool for digital literacy competence to use it as a tool for self-diagnosis or effectiveness verification in educational programs, considering that digital literacy competence is one of the core competencies for the present and future society. Based on the previous research on digital literacy competence, the tool was developed with 45 question items of 2 areas and 8 factors. The results of an exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis conducted to determine suitability were generally satisfactory based on the assessment data from about 3,000 middle school students. The assessment tools developed in this study are primarily applicable to primary and secondary school and adult education. In future research, if the system is developed to be accessible to anyone online based on this tool, and the accumulated data provide educational information for each individual's self-development, it will greatly contribute to improving the digital literacy competence of the people.

Development and Validation of Future Teacher Competency Diagnostic Scale for Pre-service Teachers (예비교사에게 요구되는 미래 교사역량 진단도구 개발 및 타당화)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate future teacher competencies diagnosis tools required for pre-service teachers. In this study, the hypothesis model was established by hierarchizing basic competency and job competency in three dimensions such as knowledge, practice, and personality as teachers' competencies required in future society. Based on this hypothesis model, 54 preliminary questions were developed, and competencies diagnosis test was conducted for 237 pre-service teachers in J area, Korea. The results of this study are as follows: First, as a result of this study, a total of 53 questions were extracted, including 18 questions with 6 factors in the knowledge dimension, 17 questions with 6 factors in the practice dimension, and 18 questions with 6 factors in the personality dimension. Second, the goodness-of-fit of future teacher competencies diagnosis model required was verified, and convergence and discriminant validity were verified. The results of this study were discussed. Finally, the implications and suggestions for further research were presented.

Estimation of Diagnostic Range for Measurement Tools, while BMD Testing to Health Examination in Transitional Ages (생애전환기 건강진단 골밀도 검사시 측정도구에 따른 진단범위의 유효성 평가)

  • The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of diagnostic range for BMD measurement tools(DEXA, QUS, and RA) to health examination in transitional ages. In standard T-score -2.5 of DEXA, cutoff value by RA is -1.675(sensitivity: 70.0%, specificity: 63.7%) and cutoff value by QUS is -1.733(sensitivity: 70.4, specificity: 59.5%), also T-score -3.0 of DEXA, cutoff value by RA is -2.325(sensitivity: 70.0%, specificity: 42.9%) and cutoff value by QUS is -2.323(sensitivity: 70.4, specificity: 56.8%). There was, however, no significant difference in standard DEXA(lumbar spine and femur) between RA and QUS by repeat measurement(precision), and correlation were without effect. ROC analysis showed that all methods are qualified for BMD measurement tools to health examination in transitional ages; however, the different sensitivities and specificities of the methods, as well as age and gender, calibration parameters for diagnostic tests have to be considered.

  • This paper aims at developing a valid evaluation tool which has reliability to measure the tendency of cyber bullying that is on the increase recently. After setting up the concept of cyber bullying and exploring its factors by reference to advanced research, we developed the draft tool through modifying by the expert group. By conducting several surveys using this evaluation tool, we have verified the reliability and validity of our tool. And we also have developed an evaluation tool to measure its tendency. As a result, the complementary evaluation tool of cyber-bullying tendency was proposed with more advanced and accurate test.

  • OVAL은 시스템의 특성 및 설정 정보를 대상으로 하여 로컬 시스템상의 취약점을 탐지 할 수 있는 표준 언어로서 MITRE에서 제안하였다. OVAL은 취약점을 정의하는 익스플로잇스크려트를 사용하지 알고 취약점을 탐지하는 XML 스키마와 SQL 질의문으로 구성되어있다. 본 논문에서는 OVAL을 사용하여 리눅스 시스템의 취약점을 탐지 할 수 있는 진단 도구를 설계한다.

A Study on the Development and Validation of the Information Literacy Test by Guilford's Structure of Intellect Model (길포드의 지능구조모형에 의한 정보활용능력 검사도구 개발 및 타당성 연구)

  • The test instrument utilized to diagnose and evaluate a trainee's ability are necessary for an effective information literacy education. Nevertheless, there is a lack of a standardized test instrument to comprehensively measure students' information literacy. The purpose of this study is to develop a standardized test instrument to evaluate the information literacy of middle school students, and to verify the reliability and validity of the test instrument. For this purpose, this study selected factors that can show the information literacy and developed an information literacy test framework that was designed based on Guilford's SOI model and Meeker's SOI-LA test. The test instrument that was developed through this study is a 30-item Web-based multiple-choice test. This study administrated tests in middle school students (794 students joined), and analyzed difficulty, reliability, discrimination index, validity of tests, and reviewed tests items to qualify the standardized test. The cutoff score was also decided when using these tests as a diagnostic information literacy assessment.
