In this paper, a transcoding algorithm for the Selectable Mode Vocoder (SMV) and the G.723.1 speech coder via direct parameter transformation is proposed. In contrast to the conventional tandem transcoding algorithm, the proposed algorithm converts the parameters of one coder to the other without going through the decoding and encoding process. The proposed algorithm is composed of four parts: the parameter decoding, line spectral pair (LSP) conversion, pitch period conversion, excitation conversion and rate selection. The evaluation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves equivalent speech quality to that of tandem transcoding with reduced computational complexity and delay.

A hybrid multicarrier CDMA/FDM system with a truncated adaptive transmission scheme is analyzed in forward link based on the feedback information from the mobile station. In the single cell environment, the prop(mea scheme outperforms the adaptive FH/DS system as well as the MC DS/CDMA system when orthogonal signature sequences are used. In the multiple cell environment also, the proposed scheme has better performance characteristics than the adaptive FH/DS system when orthogonal and random codes are used as spreading sequences.

Foreign subsidiary operation modes can be broadly divided into horizontal subsidiaries and vertical subsidiaries. According to institutional theory, foreign subsidiary operation mode differs depending on the host country institution. This study examines the effects of formal and informal institution on the foreign subsidiary operational mode of Korean firms. As a result of the empirical analysis, the higher the cultural distance and the lower political risks, the more favored the vertical foreign operation mode than the horizontal foreign operation mode. On the other hand, the higher the economic freedom and the lower corruption, the more favored the horizontal foreign operation mode than the vertical foreign operation mode.

In this paper, we proposed a multi-layer neural network for direct control method of nonlinear system. The proposed control method uses neural network as the controller to learn inverse model of plant. The neural network used consists of two parts; one part is for identification of linear part, and the other is for identification of nonlinear part of inverse system. The neural network has to be learned the liner part with RLS algorithm and the nonlinear part with error of plant. From the simulation and experiment of tracking control to use one link manipulator as plant, we proved usefulness of the proposed control method to comparing to conventional direct neural network control method. By comparing the two methods, from simulation and experiment, we were convinced that the proposed control method is more simple and accuracy than the conventional method. Moreover, number of weight and bias to be controller parameter are small, and it has smaller steady state error than conventional method.

A class of adaptive control algorithms applied to discrete-time single-input single-output deterministic linear systems is analyzed by using direct model reference adaptive control. Controller parameters are identified with weighted least square Method. And computer simulations reveal that proposed weighted least square method in which the value of depends on the identification error can be used regardless of the sufficient condition of reference input signal.

본 논문에서는 직접 전력변환방식의 단상 sag/swell 보상기를 구현하였다. 제안된 보상기는 정현파 입력/ 출력 필터, 직렬연결 변압기와 dc 링크 커패시터부가 없는 단상 back-to-back PWM컨버터로 구성되어 있다. 이 보상기의 장점은 dc-link 진해 커패시터가 제거되어 전력회로부가 간단하게 구현되어 향상된 신뢰성 및 내구성을 확인 할 수 있으며 동시에 단상 전압 sag/swell을 보상하며 스위칭 손실을 줄이는 간단한 PWM 방법을 들 수 있다. 더구나, 제안된 방법은 일반적인 직접 전력변환방식에서 요구되어지는 복잡한 4-step 전류 방법이 필요 없는 간단한 전류제어방법을 채용할 수 있는 구조이며 제안된 보상기의 구조와 PWM 방법의 타당성을 프로토타입 하드웨어를 제작하여 실험결과로 보상기의 우수성을 확인하였다.

통나무집을 짓는 방식은 크게 3가지로 분류되는데 어떤 방식을 선택하느냐에 따라 집의 구조가 달라진다. 이것은 또 나라마다 흔히 사용되는 방식이 다르다. 집의 구조가 달라진다. 이것은 또 나라마다 흔히 사용하는 방식이 다르다. 잘 자란 통나무를 골라 손으로 직접 다듬어 짓는 수공예 통나무집은 두 통나무가 만나는 부분을 처리하는 작업이 무엇보다 중요하다. 통나무집 건축을 희망하는 이들에게 집의 형태와 낫취의 종류등을 그림으로 보다 상세하게 설명함으로써 실질적인 도움을 주고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 직접토크 제어에서 자속과 토크의 오차에 따라 결정된 전압벡터와 회전자 위치에 따른 실제 인가될 수 있는 d-q축 전압을 근사 전압함수로 근사화하여, 자속 및 토크오차와 전동기의 속도에 따라 듀티비를 결정하는 방식을 제안한다. 이러한 방식은 선택된 전압벡터가 일정한 상수 크기의 전압을 인가하는 것으로 가정된 기존의 직접토크 제어 방식에 비해 정밀한 전압 기준을 바탕으로 펄스폭의 듀티비를 결정함으로써, 동일한 스위칭 주파수 내에서 토크 및 자속오차의 크기를 감소 시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.

최근 산업계에서 급증하는 전력수요와 부하의 다양화는 전원의 안정도에 악영항을 미치고 있다. 이는 전압강하는 역률 저하 유/무효 전력의 변동을 초래하고 타부하에 영향을 미치게 되므로 이를 효과적으로 보상할 수 있는 종합적인 보상 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 전력보상 시스템중의 하나로서 플라이휠을 장착한 권선형 유도기의 2차 여자방식을 제시한다. 본 시스템은 전동기 2차 여자방식을 이용함으로서 기존의 정지형 보상기에 비하여 인버터의 용량을 기존의 것보다 수배 감소시킬 수 있는 장점이 있으며 히스테리시스 전류제어기를 사용하여 직접 전류제어기를 사용하여 직접전류 제어방식을 이용하므로 기존의 시스템과 비교하여 PI제어기의 게인선정의 어려움을 극복하고 제어 알고리즘을 간략화 할 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다. 또한 전력을 보상하기 위한 에너지 저장요소로 플라이휠의 관성에너지를 사용함으로서 기존의 배터리 방식의 무정전 전원공급장치를 대신하는 효과를 보인다. 설계된 시스템과 제어방식은 시뮬레시션을 통하여 입증하였다.

선로의 DLR을 추정하는 방식 중에서 간접도체 방식은 시험도체가 선로의 도체와 유사한 환경에 직접 노출되어 있어서 일사량, 풍속, 풍향 통 측정감도가 낮은 요소들을 직접 측정하여 사용하지 않아도 이들의 종합적인 효과를 반영할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 간접도체 방식에 의한 DLR 추정 알고리즘을 보이고 가열도체와 비가열도체를 사용한 실험을 통하여 추정 풍속 및 DLR 산정결과가 실측 풍속 및 기상요소로 추정한 값들과 거의 일치함을 보임으로써 DLR 산정 방식으로서 간접도체 이용의 타당성을 제시하였다.
