The Effects of Intelligence and Scientific Attitude on Understanding in Surrounding Plants (지능과 과학 태도가 주변 식물의 이해에 미치는 영향)

  • Understanding the surrounding plants (SP) by the high school students was compared with their abilities of intelligence (SI) and attitude (SA) in science education. 276 students attending 11 grade high school in the city of Incheon selected for this work were tested for SP and their abilities of SI and SA. The rates of SP were observed to be not related to the personal properties of student but to the abilities of total or science achievement scores made throughout school life. The abilities of SP were, by linear regression, calculated to be dependent upon the some components or variables of SI or of SA. Particularly, the abilities of SP were closely related to the abilities of picture matrix and vocabulary, but not to those of scientific logics among variables of SI. Also, the abilities of SP were calculated to be positively related those of scientific attitude, but negatively to science anxiety in SA. As based on this work, the SP was strongly suggested to be helpful for students 'intelligences or for students' learning in their life.

The Study of School/Corporate Authorities' Satisfaction and Perception by the Overseas Training of Apprenticeship School (산학일체형 도제학교 국외연수 참여에 대한 학교 및 기업관계자의 만족도 및 인식도)

  • This study aims to analyze the changes in school/corporate authorities participation after overseas training in Germany and Switzerland. According to this study, the satisfaction with program contents and help for the operation of apprenticeship education was very high. Even though the satisfaction with each type of apprenticeship education institutes did not show differences in accordance with participants' age, there were statistically significant differences in the satisfaction in accordance with work area and position, so that it would be necessary to reflect the results of analysis on the selection of institutes to visit in the future. Regarding the changes in the perception of operation of apprenticeship school in accordance with school/corporate authorities' participation in overseas training, school authorities' perception of the whole areas was improved after training than before training like understanding, planning, practice, and evaluation of apprenticeship education while corporate authorities' perception was not. As corporate authorities also understood the necessity of overseas training for the operation of apprenticeship education, however, in order to increase the effects of overseas training in the future, it would be necessary to provide lots of information to help the understanding of apprenticeship education through preliminary training or regular council and council of each project group. Because of the huge differences in socio-cultural conditions in the practice of apprenticeship education between Korea and two countries such as Germany and Switzerland, it would be needed to operate overseas training that could draw the improvement measures within the system of Korea instead of simple comparative analysis.

Effects of Person-Organization Fit and Person-Job Fit on Occupational Commitment, Organizational Commitment, and Turnover Intentions of Cooks (조리사의 개인-조직 적합성과 개인-직무 적합성이 직업 몰입, 조직 몰입, 이직 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of person-organization fit and person-job fit on occupational commitment, organizational commitment and turnover intentions among cooks in the foodservice industry. Data were collected by a total of 210 cooks at restaurants in the Seoul and Kyunggi area. The analysis of AMOS was used to test the causal model. The results indicate that the person-organization fit was positively related to occupational commitment and organizational commitment. The person-job fit was also found to correlate positively with occupational commitment and organizational commitment. Occupational commitment was positively related to turnover intentions while organizational commitment was negatively related to turnover intentions. Implications of the results and limitations of the study were discussed.

  • This article tried to understand roles of lifelong education for people with disabilities among revised lifelong education act and to search how rehabilitation counselor attend to the area of lifelong education for people with disabilities and connect. And this article reviewed literatures on significance of act revision and carried out FGI with seven experts. The result was as follows as. First, responsibility of nation on lifelong education for people with disabilities was emphasized after act revision and was extended. Second, the roles of national lifelong educational promotion center for people with disabilities was reinforced and extended possibility of attendance and connection. Third, the result of deep interview between experts appeared as necessity of reestablishment about concept. lifelong education support necessity by disability area, restructure and support of work and methods exploration for coexistence. In conclusion, the methods for coexistence are need because vocational rehabilitation and lifelong education for people with disabilities are essential for adults with disabilities.

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate key competencies according to their levels in order to understand person's ability in automobile fields of school and workplace. For this study, key competencies consisting of mathematical skills, problem solving skills, communications skills, self management and development skills, resources recycling skills, interpersonal relationship skills, technological skills, information skills, organizational understanding skills were determined. We examined the related literatures to determine the level of key competencies and diverse opinions were accommodated with visits to workplace in order to enhance the validity of the results of this study. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the estimation of key competencies according to their levels was possible and valid.

Job Stress Trajectories of the Eco-boomer Generation in the Convergence Era and Predicting Factors (융복합시대 에코부머세대의 직업 스트레스 궤적과 예측요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to obtain basic data to be used in social welfare intervention for relieving psychological burdens caused by job stress in the eco-boomer generation that will be the center of Korean society in future, by estimating job stress change trajectories of the eco-boomer generation in the convergence era, figuring out predicting factors and examining job stress factors that individuals experience, in accordance with the degree of job stress and the changes. This is a longitudinal study using secondary data and for analysis, the Latent Growth Model(LGM) was applied to the 1st year to the 7th year Korean Welfare Panel Data. Self-esteem was one of job stress predicting factors of the eco-boomer generation. Since most of eco-boomers were students in the early measurement period, the level of job stress was low, but over time, the burden of job increased by gradation. This study has significance by providing an empirical basis for predicting factors of job stress changes of the eco-boomer generation to understand job stress in the eco-boomer generation.

Development and Application of Career Education App for Elementary School Students (초등학생 진로교육을 위한 교육용 어플리케이션 개발 및 적용)

  • In the past society, it was possible for parents to provide career guidance at home and career education without professional education courses and knowledge about career education at school since the simple job and the slow pace of social change. However, in modern society, the profession itself becomes complicated, and professional functions and knowledge are required in the profession, and the job world is changed and also a lot of jobs will disappear. This change has made it difficult to establish the value of work and then career education has become very important and urgent. In this paper we develop a career education app for elementary school students and then examine the pedagogical effect of career education app on career education. We applied our proposed course to an elementary school in Seoul. In the course, totally eight hours of classes were offered to the 5-6th graders of an elementary class. As a result, students who took part in the class have a better understanding of the job and also the satisfaction level of the course was also very high.

Educational needs analysis for key vocational competency in nursing students (직업기초능력에 대한 간호대학생의 교육요구도 분석)

  • This study was conducted to identify and analyze the educational needs for key vocational competency in nursing students. The participants were 411 nurse students at five universities and the survey was conducted from June 1 to June 31, 2016. The data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 23.0 using descriptive statistics, a paired T-test, Borich's Needs Analysis, as well as the Locus for Focus Model. Based on the results, the subjects recognized the present level of 'professional ethics,' 'self development' and 'interpersonal skills' to be high and those of 'communication skills' and 'skills for understanding groups' to be low. 'Professional ethics,' 'self development,' 'problem solving skills' and 'communication skills' were the most important sub-elements of vocational competency. A significant difference in recognition levels between present and importance ere found in all components of vocational competency. The four priorities were analyzed based on Borich's needs value. In accordance with the Locus for Focus model, 'communication skills,' 'problem solving,' 'resource management skills' and 'self development' were identified as the highest priority sub-factors of vocational competency to nursing students. Based on the result of this study, it is expected to be used as the basic data to develop the nursing student's vocational curriculum and program.

  • The formation of design in Korea and the consensus on it's necessity began in 1960's. Industrial design started to be realistically recognized and formed with the establishment of The Korea Industrial & Packaging Design Center. Later on, the industrialization in 1970s has contributed to industrial design campaigns. Now industrial design in Korea shows almost 50-year-long history respectively, and the nation's GNP soars over $ 10, 000. This study focuses on the promotion of effective advances in graphic design, which is said to be most essential in the industry. For this, graphic designer's view on their occupation and the world with their anticipation towards further development of graphic design has been discussed.

산업보건역학 연구사례 - 직업병 연구에서의 원인.결과 규명의 문제

  • 직업과 질병, 이 문제는 산업의학의 출발점인 동시에 가장 중요한 내용중의 하나일 것이다. 그 한 예로 직업성 일을 살펴 본다면 1775년 Percuval Pott이 굴뚝청소부 소년들에게서 음낭암(scrotal cancer)이 과다하게 발생하는 것을 보고한 이래 많은 암종과 이에 관련된 폭로물질들의 관련성이 밝혀져 왔다. 이러한 문제들은 주로 일정한 암이 과다하게 발생함(epidemic; excessive prevalence)으로서 제기되기 시작하며, 원인-결과의 관련성을 밝혀내는 유용한 도구들 중의 하나인 역학적 방법은 그 해답을 찾는데에 큰 기여를 하고 있다. 그렇다면 어떠한 이론들을 근거로 하여 A가 B의 원인이라던가, A와 B는 관련이 없었던가 하는 겨론에 도달하게 되는가? 본란은 지금까지 그 관련성이 밝혀진 직업과 질병들을 소재로 하여 이들이 역학적으로 어떠한 과정을 통하여 원인-결과의 결론에 도달하게 되었는지를(또는 의심이 가기는 하나 왜 아직도 확실한 결론에 도달하지 못하였는지를) 설명하고자 한다. 본란의 내용을 이해하기 위하여는 기본적인 역학지식이 요구되기는 하나, 필요한 부분마다 이해를 돕기 위하여 설명을 첨가하였다. 다행히도 현재 '산업보건'에 연재되고 있는 '직업병의 역학적 연구방법'과 '한국의 산업의학' 1993년 Vol. 31, No. 2-4에 걸쳐 연재된 '산업보건역학'에 역학의 개념과 방법론에 대한 기본적인 내용이 서술되어 있으므로 이 분야를 처음 대하는 독자에게는 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 이번호에서는 '서론'의 형식을 빌어서 원인-결과관계를 판단하는데 있어서 가장 기본적으로 요구되는 조건들을 우선적으로 설명하고자 하였다. 여기에 설명한 개념들은 앞으로 계속 반복적으로 사용될 것이다.
