According to recent statistical data, there was an increase in the weight of people with disabilities, but their economic activities were on the wane, and it's required to explore what curbs the employment of people with disabilities to find feasible solutions. The purpose of this study was to examine influential factors for the economic activities of people with disabilities. The subjects in this study were the selected people with disabilities in the metropolitan area, on whom a survey was conducted to make an empirical analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: The people with disabilities engaged in less economic activities when they were basic livelihood security recipients, when they were older, and when they were female. And those who underwent job training and who were certified technicians were more likely to participate in economic activities. Therefore differentiated policy setting is required to boost the economic activities of people with disabilities after their general characteristics, characteristics as human resources and characteristics related to vocational training are carefully analyzed. As for general characteristics, whether they are basic livelihood security recipients or not should be considered to assess the degree of their poverty, and their gender, age and presence or absence of spouses should all be taken into account. In terms of vocational training, their certificates and job training experience should be investigated.

  • The purpose of the study was to explore modern people's emotion regarding sex commercialization related to the abolition of grid girl. To collect data, based on 'reply journalism', this study collected 15 blogs, 10 online cafe contents, 1 youtube video clip, and 364 replies associated with the three online contents. To analyze the data, interpretive text analysis was utilized and the following results were obtained. As results, the analysis on the replies shows that the most strong emotion of the modern people regarding the abolition of grid girl is anti-feminism that includes hatred toward feminists and even females, criticism on feminism, and notion of 'women's enemy is women themselves'. In addition, sympathy toward racing models who lost their jobs, requirement of same abolition to the people with similar occupations, spatial separation between men and women, and consent on the abolition of racing models were found. Unlike the feminists' emotion regarding sex commercialization and racing models, modern people's emotion was different from them. Rather, ordinary people have doubted and even criticized on the rationales of feminism. Unlike feminists' notion about sex commercialization of racing models, these results imply that social image of racing models has changed and wish their position is respected as an ordinary occupation, without issues of sex commercialization.

  • There are two aspects of clinical practice guidelines that act as non-legal control before medical practice and as legal control standards after medical practice. The essential purpose of clinical practice guidelines is the former, but the latter action cannot be excluded. The clinical practice guidelines are a means of linking law and medical care. The negative perception of clinical practice guidelines that medical professionals' autonomy can be violated by the enactment of clinical practice guidelines is an excessive negative evaluation of clinical practice guidelines. Rather, judicial judgment based on clinical practice guidelines plays a role in respecting the autonomy of medical professionals. In other words, the clinical practice guidelines suppress legal regulations on medical care as much as possible and are based on doctors' professional ethics and self-discipline, and patient awareness and cooperation. In order to establish an ideal relationship of cooperation between doctors and patients, 'medical ethics' must be incorporated as a legal means. Clinical practice guidelines are the most appropriate means for incorporating such medical ethics into legal procedures. The lawyer solves the case with a legal syllogism that establishes a norm and applies facts to it to conclude. For the resolution of medical disputes, Clinical practice guidelines are used to establish norms that doctors should perform for specific diseases, and conclusions are drawn by applying the established norms to specific medical practices. When it is not easy to apply the established norms to specific medical practices, medical judgments by experts, such as emotions, expert testimony, and explanations by expert members, are used. As such, the Law respects the autonomy of medical care even in the establishment of norms and the application of norms. In particular, Clinical practice guidelines prepared independently by the medical community are referred to in establishing norms, which are the prerequisites for legal syllogism. This shows that doctors participate in the formation of precedents and contribute to the formation of norms. The use of clinical practice guidelines in trials is respect and consideration for the autonomy of medical care. Although there may be an aspect in which the autonomy of individual doctors is limited by clinical practice guidelines, it should be considered that the autonomy of doctors as a group is respected. In this way, the clinical practice guidelines play a role in protecting the autonomy of the "medical" group from the logic of the "law."

  • The goal of this study was to examine the effects of male gender role on the adjustment of Korean men. In study 1 Korean Male gender Role Scale was developed. A 52-item scale was constructed based on the responses of 432 college-aged and middle-aged men to theoretically-derived preliminary items. Five factors were extracted: achievement orientation, the initiative, task orientation, responsibility for family and friendship with male friends. Study 2 examined the relationship between male gender role and several adjustment variables. Correlational analyses indicated that in the college men self-esteem and career identity were positively correlated with the initiative and friendship with male friends was positively correlated with life satisfaction. College men's depression level was negatively correlated with the initiative and task orientation. Among the middle-aged men, self-esteem was also positively correlated with the initiative and task orientation. But responsibility for family was positively correlated with depression and job dissatisfaction in the middle-aged men. In both groups satisfaction with male gender role was positively correlated with self-esteem and life satisfaction but negatively correlated with depression. Finally, limitations of this study and direction of future research were discussed.

Among the key topics of the International technical guidance on sexuality education developed by UNESCO, the most mentioned was that it is natural to have curiosity on one's own feelings and body and that sex education books can help them learn about them. Respect on one's own body, knowledge of sexual and reproductive organs, eggs and sperms, menstrual cycle, effect of hormones were also easily found topics from the books. The least mentioned topics were HIV/AIDS and Gender-based violence. 63.5% of the analyzed books were books with/without illustrations. Other formats include picture books, comic books, and photo-illustrated books. Publication of books aimed for particular gender started to increase from 2019. Diversity of authors' occupation were also shown starting 2019. Further research on the role of sex education books is crucial to help all children and young adults develop their own sexuality and understand that of other people, and ultimately to live in a harmonious society.
