Consistent Comparison for The Linearity Air Kerma of IEC Standards and Commercial Load in Diagnosing DR Generators (진단용 DR 발생장치에서 IEC 표준규격과 상용부하의 공기커마 직선성에 대한 일관성 비교)

  • In this study, based on IEC 60601-2-54 standard load conditions presented in the limited interval over the air kerma at the absolute linearity closely evaluated by measuring the X-ray results were as follows: 10 units targeted all Diagnostic X-ray generating device (DR) presented in the IEC 60601-2-54 standard linearity of air kerma emerged as inappropriate, the general evaluation of the dose linearity from four in the top 50% and 80 kVp % of the two measurement series were as irrelevant all the rest from six of the top tube voltage of 50% and 80% of the two measurement series, appeared in all suitable. Presented in IEC 60601-2-54 standard dose linearity testing and conventional linearity tests showed many differences. IEC 60601-2-54 standard linearity in the proposed international standards of air kerma is the recommendation of the existing dose linearity considerably more feasible, and to quantify the amount of radiation as the standard suggested by the standard IEC 60601-2-54 air kerma of a diagnostic X-ray imaging device linearity performance management is considered key elements in the critical appraisal.

A High Precision Line Detection Based on Local Area CCT Method (국소영역 내의 CCT법을 이용한 고정밀 직선 검출)

  • A detection method of high precision digital line within image is proposed in this paper. If we set the size of image to $N{\times}N$, in fact it is difficult to use the resulting values that the amount of computation is $O(N^4)$. Multiple algorithms are examined to reduced the amount of computation to $O(N^3)$, while suppressing the degradation of precision. How to detect line from the image processing, after stretching treatment of line segments extracted by Hough transform in the local area of an image is a great way to be able to detect several long or short line at high speed, but this method is slightly less precision in the detection of tilted line segments. In this paper, a line detection method improving the precision detection of tilted line segment is applied to the local area, thereby this method does not reduce the processing speed, while it is high precision method for detecting line segments. The experimental results confirm that the proposed method can detect a high precision line in a shorter period of time, compared with the existing methods.

  • This paper presents a method of quantization to extract quantization parameters using the straight-line and DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) for two splited frequency bands. As the number of harmonic is variable frame to frame, harmonics in low frequency band is oversampled to fix the dimension and straight-lines present a spectral envelope, then the discontinuous points of straight-lines in low frequency is sent to quantizer. Thus, extraction of quantization parameters using the straight-line provides a fixed dimension. Harmonics in high frequency use variable DCT to obtain quantization parameters and this paper proposes a method of quantization combining the straight-line with DCT. The measurement (If proposed method of quantization uses spectral distortion (SD) for spectral magnitudes. As a result, The proposed method of quantization improved 0.3dB in term of SD better than HVXC.

A Basic Study on Proper Straight Route Distance under Marine Bridge using ES Model (ES모델을 이용한 해상교량 하부 적정 직선항로 길이에 대한 기초 연구)

  • Keeping a proper straight route length under the marine bridge is one of the important factors for the safe passage of ships. However, according to port and harbor design standards, there is only a constant guideline of 8 times the length of the marine bridge underpass. On this study, we used the ES model to determine the ratio of risk to the route width, traffic volume, the degree of curvature of the route, and the length of the straight route in order to derive the optimal straight route distance. As a result, the risk ratio decreased by 2.27% as the route distance increased from 3L to 10L when the degree of curvature of the route was $45^{\circ}$. The risk associated with curvature was found to be 4.83% when the bending degree was changed from $0^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}$ in the case of 3L length. In addition, it was confirmed that the risk ratio according to the degree of curvature of the route and the straight route was reduced by 1.45% at maximum under the condition that the width of the line was 400m and the number of the vessels generated per hour was 20. It was verified that a straight route distance more than a certain length is needed depending on the congestion degree and the degree of curvature of the route when constructing the marine bridge.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic characteristic analysis of linear actuator(LA) considered with coupling of mechanical spring system This application of linear actuator is increasing due to simple mechanical structure, a high efficiency, and a stable motional action.   • 본 연구는 만곡수로 외측에 횡월류 위어를 설치하여 곡률반경에 대한 횡월류 유량계수의 특성을 분석하였다. 곡률반경의 변화에 따른 만곡부의 중심각이 180인 수로모형을 설계하였으며, FLOW-3D모형에 적용하여 유량계수를 산정하고 직선 수로와 비교하여 유량계수의 특성을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 난류모형은 RNG-$\in$ 모형을 사용하였으며, 수치기법으로는 유한체적법을 사용하였다. 모형의 적용성 검정을 위해 기존에 연구되었던 수리실험과 동일한 조건의 수치모의를 수행하여 모형의 적용성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 하폭를 고정시키고 곡률반경를 변화시킴으로써 $R_c/b$의 변화에 따른 유량계수(C)의 변화를 분석하고, 만곡수로의 월류량($Q_{wc}$)에 대한 직선수로의 월류량($Q_{ws}$)의 비, 만곡수로의 평균 월류 수심에 대한 직선수로의 평균 월류 수심($y_{cave}/y_{save}$)과 $R_c/b$의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 유량계수는 상류수심, 월류량, 만곡수로의 곡률반경 등의 변화에 따라 유량계수는 변화하였으며, 직선과 만곡수로에 대해 분석을 수행하였기 때문에 직선수로의 영향인자를 이용하여 만곡수로에 설치된 횡월류 위어의 월류량과 유량계수를 추정 가능할 것이라 판단된다.

Partial AUC using the sensitivity and specificity lines (민감도와 특이도 직선을 이용한 부분 AUC)

  • The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is expressed as both sensitivity and specificity; in addition, some optimal thresholds using the ROC curve are also represented with both sensitivity and specificity. In addition to the sensitivity and specificity, the expected usefulness function is considered as disease prevalence and usefulness. In particular, partial the area under the ROC curve (AUC) on a certain range should be compared when the AUCs of the crossing ROC curves have similar values. In this study, partial AUCs representing high sensitivity and specificity are proposed by using sensitivity and specificity lines, respectively. Assume various distribution functions with ROC curves that are crossing and AUCs that have the same value. We propose a method to improve the discriminant power of the classification models while comparing the partial AUCs obtained using sensitivity and specificity lines.

An Improved Hough Transform Using Valid Features (유효 특징점을 이용한 개선된 허프변환)

  • The Hough transform (HT), that is a typical algorithm for detecting lines in images, needs considerable computational costs and easily detects pseudo-lines on the real world images, because of the large amount of features generated by their complex background or noise. This paper proposes an improved HT that add a preprocessing to estimate the validity of features to the conventional HT. The feature estimation can remove a lot of inessential features for the line detection using a pattern of $3{\times}3$ block features. Experiments using various images show that the proposed algorithm saves computational costs by removing 14%~58% of features depending on images and besides it is superior to the conventional HT in valid line detection.

  • 이 본문은 자선의 경계가 있는 도로에서 촬영된 흑백영상에서 차선에 관한 정보를 찾아 검출하는 알고리즘을 계안한다. 영상을 블록 단위로 나누고 직선회귀모형(Linear Regression Analysis)을 사용하여 블록내의 기울기와 y절편(y-intercept)을 구한다. 블록의 회귀직선의 기울기에 따라 다음 검출위치를 결정하는 방법을 사용하여 시간석인 부분과 검출의 정확도를 높이고자 하였다.

  • 현재 우리나라의 유방촬영장치의 정도관리 항목에는 국제규격에서 원하는 직선성이 빠져있다. 직선성은 방사선량 및 방사선질의 조정을 위한 요구사항이므로 반드시 측정이 되어야한다. 본 연구에서는 유방촬영장비 5대를 대상으로 IEC 60601-2-45 규격에 맞는 직선성을 시험하고 평가함으로써 좀 더 발전된 정도관리방향을 제시하고자 한다.
