Effects of Training on Workers' Job Satisfaction: A Case of Chinese State-Owned Companies (조직구성원의 교육훈련이 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 중국 국유기업을 대상으로)

  • Chinese state-owned companies play an important role in national economy. Since training ensure gaining capabilities of human resources, the companies emphasize the importance of training human resources, also invest a lot of resources on training. The aim of this study is to find out the effect of training on job satisfaction and the mediating effect of self-efficacy. A total of 299 questionnaires is collected from Chinese state-owned companies to collect data and for hypothesis testing. The results show that training has a positive influence on internal and external job satisfaction. It is also found that a mediating effect of self-efficacy between training and job satisfaction.

A study on the formation of worker's job-satisfaction: The influence of emotional support, resiliency of self-efficacy, stress and job-performance (직장인의 직무만족도 형성에 대한 연구: 정서적 지원, 어려움극복효능감, 스트레스 및 직무성취도의 영향)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the factors influencing on worker's job-satisfaction analyzing the influence of emotional support from fellow workers, resiliency of self-efficacy, stress and job-performance. A total of 456 completed questionnaire, consisted of small business workers 253 (male 89, female 164) and middle school teachers 203 (male 44, female 159). The questionnaire showed relatively high reliability, with Cronbach α ranging from .83 to .91. The results of the path analysis and effect analysis showed very similar pattern in the group of small business workers and middle school teachers. Based on the path analysis, emotional support from fellow workers had a positive influence on the workers resiliency of self-efficacy. Consequently, the enhanced resiliency of self-efficacy increased the job-performance, however decreased the stress, which in turn contributed to increase the job-satisfaction significantly. Based on the effect analysis, resiliency of self-efficacy showed the most big size of positive total effect to worker's job-satisfaction, followed by job-performance and emotional support. On the other hand, stress showed negative effect on job-satisfaction.

Research on Estheticians' Coaching Leadership for Life Care (라이프케어를 위한 피부관리사의 코칭 리더십에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated the effects of coaching leadership for life care of estheticians on self-efficacy and job satisfaction and the results are presented as follows: First, as a result of analysing the effects of coaching leadership of the subjects on self-efficacy, it was discovered that all the factors of relations (β=.261, p<.001), presentation of direction(β=.238, p<.01), assessment(β=.175, p<.01) and development(β=.170, p<.01) had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on it. Second, as a result of analysing the effects of coaching leadership of the subjects on job satisfaction, it was discovered that relations(β=.403, p<.001), presentation of direction(β=.384, p<.001) and assessment (β=.170, p<.01) had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on it. Third, as a results of analysing the effects of self-efficacy of the subjects on job satisfaction, it was discovered that self-efficacy (β =.707, p<.001) has a statistically significant positive(+) effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, as for the relations between coaching leadership and job satisfaction, it was discovered that self-efficacy as a mediator of self-efficacy satisfied a partial mediation condition between presentation of direction, development, assessment, relations and job satisfaction.

Influence of Shared Leadership Perceived by Cooks on Self-efficacy, Collective Efficacy, and Job Performance: Focusing on Hotel Culinary Department (공유 리더십에 대한 조리사 인식이 자기효능감, 집단효능감과 직무성과에 미치는 영향 : 호텔조리부서 대상)

  • This study assumed that chef's shared leadership perceived by chefs in hotel culinary department affects self-efficacy, group efficacy, and job performance. Based on this, the causal relationship between each variable was analyzed through leadership sharing. And based on the results, we tried to suggest a manpower management plan suitable for the hotel culinary department and provide basic data. The subjects of this study were chefs working in 8 luxury hotels in Seoul and Busan. A total of 302 questionnaires were analyzed. For analysis, SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical packages were used. As a result of empirical analysis, it was found that it had a positive effect on self-efficacy and job performance improvement of hotel cooks. On the other hand, it was found that the chef's shared leadership did not affect job performance through collective efficacy and collective efficacy. In conclusion, it was suggested that a differentiated and efficient manpower management plan is needed to enhance job performance by enhancing shared leadership and self-efficacy for cooks, where collaboration and division of labor are important, and individual ability is important due to the nature of their work.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of beauty workers' fun factors on job enthusiasm and self-efficacy. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 324 beauty workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi region were selected as the study subjects. The data processing to identify the purpose of the study was to analyze the frequency of the demographic variables of the study subject, verify the reliability of each factor, and analyze the factors, and the correlation analysis between the fun factor, job enthusiasm and self-efficacy was used. Multi-regression was conducted to find out the effect of the variables, and the following research results were derived through such a research procedure. First, the fun factor of beauty workers was crazy about job enthusiasm. Second, the fun factor of beauty workers influenced self-efficacy, and third, job enthusiasm had an effect on self-efficacy.

A Structural Relationship among Informational Leadership, Self-efficacy, Communication Ability, and Job Satisfaction of Secondary School Teachers

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationship between the informational leadership, self-efficacy, communication ability, and job satisfaction of secondary school teachers. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the following research questions were set up. First, what is the structural relationship between teachers' information leadership, self-efficacy, communication ability, and job satisfaction? Second, what is the mediating effect of self-efficacy and communication ability in the influence of teachers' informational leadership on job satisfaction? J-Do's secondary school was sampled through random sampling from the population. A total of 600 subjects were sampled. The results of this study show that for secondary school teachers, self-efficacy and communication skills play an important role as a motivating factor for job satisfaction. To have teachers' self-efficacy and communication skills, teachers' respect for opinions and participation in decision-making on school management It should be developed in the direction of expanding and creating a cooperative organizational climate. In addition, it was found that it was necessary to change individual teachers' efforts or perceptions in consideration of individual characteristics and environmental characteristics.

The effects of self-efficacy and job stress coping on the resilience in clinical nurses (임상간호사의 자기 효능감 및 직무스트레스 대처가 극복력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to verify the effects of self-efficacy and job stress coping on the resilience. The subjects were 240 hospital nurses in Jeonbuk and 231 questionnaires were used in the analysis after exclusion of nine due to insufficient data. Data were collected from May to June, 2017 and analyzed with the SPSS 23.0 program. Specifically, differences in resilience based on the characteristics of the participants were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA with Duncan's post hoc test, while correlations between variables were analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. Additionally, the effects of self-efficacy and job stress coping were evaluated by multiple regression. Self-efficacy and job stress coping were found to be positively correlated with resilience. In addition, self-efficacy and job stress coping were identified as factors influencing the resilience of clinical nurses, and self-efficacy had a greater effect on resilience. To improve the resilience of clinical nurses, it is necessary to develop resilience improvement programs.

The Effect of Job Stress and Self-Efficacy on the Turnover Intention of Disability Assistance Workers:Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Engagement (장애인활동지원사의 직무스트레스와 자기효능감이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 연구: 직무몰입 매개효과)

  • This study aims to contribute to overcoming difficulties that disability assistance workers experience by verifying the effect of job stress and self-efficacy on their turnover intentions, and whether job engagement has a mediating effect in the process. For this purpose, a survey was performed on 290 disability assistance workers associated with disability support organizations in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area during the period of 2019.5.1.-2019.6.30. The collected survey data was analyzed with the SPSS 24.0 statistical software, the results of which are as follows. First, job stress and self-efficacy appears to affect job engagement. High levels of conflict and maladjustment in the workplace had adverse effects on job engagement, while high levels of emotional, evaluative, and informational support had positive effects. Second, job stress and self-efficacy also had an effect on turnover intentions. High levels of conflict, instability, and maladjustment in the workplace led to a higher level of turnover intentions. Third, job engagement had a mediating effect between job stress and turnover intentions. Fourth, job engagement had no mediating effect between self-efficacy and turnover intentions. These results serve to propose practical measures to reduce the job stress and improve the job engagement of disability assistance workers.

A Study on Infant Class Childcare Teachers' Self-Efficacy and Job Stress (영아반 보육교사의 교사효능감과 직무스트레스에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between an infant teachers' efficacy and job stress by demographic variables to provide the data for improving job conditions and teacher education. For this study, teachers who work in the childcare center located in Gyeongsangbukdo participated in a survey. The questionnaire was distributed from March 11. 2013 to March 29. 2013. The results were as follows; first, an infant class childcare teachers' efficacy was above average and general efficacy was higher than personal efficacy. There were significant differences in personal variable(age, marital status) and working condition(the type of facility, average working hours, average wage, the number of children). Second, an infant class childcare teachers' job stress was above average and that depended on the economy, the infant's parents, work, infant, individual, administration, and co-workers in decreasing order of influence. The job stress was significant differences in personal variable(age, martial status, experience, number of completed training) and working variable(the type of facility, average working hours, the number of children, average wage). These results indicate that improvement in the infant class childcare teachers' efficacy is more important than anything else in promoting their job conditions.

중소기업 조직구성원의 조직문화와 자기효능감이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 잡 크래프팅의 매개효과를 중심으로

  • 최근 4차산업혁명으로 산업계에 전반적으로 확산하고 있는 디지털트랜스포메이션과 코로나19로 인한 장기적인 경기 불황의 여파로 대응 역량이 제한적일 수밖에 없는 중소기업의 어려움이 갈수록 심화하고 있다. 중소기업은 기업의 성과를 높이기 위해 경영혁신과 함께 조직구성원들의 역량을 강화하기 위한 다양한 노력을 지속하고 있다. 이러한 중소기업의 성장과 조직구성원의 역량 향상은 국가 경제에 매우 중요한 의미를 가지고 있다. 이에 조직구성원의 자발적인 참여와 동기부여를 통해 직무만족도를 높이고 조직성과를 창출하려는 관심이 날로 높아지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적 역시 중소기업의 조직문화와 조직구성원의 자기효능감이 직무만족도와 어떠한 상관관계를 가지고 있는가를 조사하고 잡 크래프팅의 매개 역할 여부를 분석하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 조직문화와 자기효능감이 중소기업의 잡 크래프팅을 활성화하고, 활성화된 잡 크래프팅이 직무만족도에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 인과적 관계를 검증하고자 한다. 불확실한 경영환경 아래서 중소기업의 지속적인 생존과 성장을 위해 자기주도적으로 새로운 변화에 빠르게 대응할 수 있는 잡 크래프팅을 매개변수로, 그리고 조직구성원의 핵심 역량으로 요구되고 있는 직무만족도를 종속변수로 설정하여 본 연구를 진행하였다.
