The Effect of Social Worker's Person-Social Welfare Value Fit on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment: Mediating Role of Emotional Labor (사회복지사의 사회복지 가치적합성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 감성노동의 매개역할을 중심으로)

  • This study introduces the mediating role of social worker's emotional labor in the relationship between person-social welfare value fit and job-related psychological attitudes. This study characterizes emotional labor as surface acting and deep acting, and job-related psychological attitudes as job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study hypothesizes that the social worker's person-social welfare value fit raises job satisfaction and organizational commitment, that social worker's surface acting negatively mediates the relationship between social welfare value fit and psychological attitudes, and that deep acting positively mediates the relationship. The results from this study are as follows. Firstly, social worker's person-social welfare value fit raises job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Secondly, social worker's surface acting fully mediates the relationship between social welfare value fit and organizational commitment. Thirdly, deep acting fully mediates the relationship between social welfare value fit and job satisfaction, and social welfare value fit and organizational commitment. Based on these results, detailed practical and theoretical implications are discussed.

The Effects of Personal Job-Organizational Fit of Social Workers on Job Loss and Moderating Effect of Perceived Organizational Justice (사회복지사의 직무적합성과 조직적합성이 직무상실감에 미치는 영향 및 조직공정성의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effects of perceived organizational justice on the associations between personal job-organizational fit and job loss perceived by social workers. The survey was conducted on social workers in Gwangju. This study conducted descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 as an analysis method to verify the main assumptions of this study. The analysis showed that First, The degree of personal job-organizational fit was shown to be slightly higher than normal. perceived organizational justice was investigated as two sub-factors, and distributive justice was shown to be slightly lower than normal and procedural justice to be higher than normal. The degree of job loss was also investigated at a lower level than normal. Second, personal job-organizational fit had negative(-) effects on job loss and the effects were moderated by perceived organizational justice.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between PJF(person-job fit) and members' organizational commitment focusing on the mediating factor. Previous Studies have found that person-job fit has positive effect on organizational commitment, and self-efficacy has positive effect on the organizational commitment. On the other hand, the studies to identify whether self-efficacy has a role in mediation between PJF and the members' organizational commitment has been insufficient. To that end, we considered self-efficacy as the mediator of the relationship between PJF and organizational commitment. We used the data which to perform national policy research from 690 workers at a small or medium firm. As a result of verifying the suitability of the research model, it was suitable for the acceptance criteria. Besides the hierarchical regression analysis, bootstrapping was conducted to verify significance of mediating effect of self-efficacy. The main results are as follows. First, the variables, PJF, self-efficacy and organizational commitment showed a positive correlation. Second, PJF has a positive effect on self-efficacy and organizational commitment significantly. Also self-efficacy has a positive effect on organizational commitment significantly. Third, the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between PJF and organizational commitment is significant. In order to improve person-job fit, this study suggested that SMEs' owners should consider job rotation system and career development program for employees. Based on this study result and implications, we discussed limit of research and direction for future research.

A Study on the Job Aptitudity of Fashion Salesperson (패션 판매원의 직무적합성에 관한 연구)

  • The importance of emotional factors like as product aesthetics, branding strategies and service quality is increasing in today's marketplace. At the point of fashion product purchases, emotional factor is mainly related to personal selling. Rasearches related to job aptitudity of fashion salesperson are necessary as their role becoming more serious. This study was designed (1) to determine factors of job aptitudity of fashion salesperson; and (2) to examine relations between job aptitudity of fashion salesperson and other variables: demographics, job statistics, fashion involvement fashion innovativeness, ongoing information searching and job satisfaction. As a result, job aptitudty of fashion salesperson was determined into six dimensions by factor analysis: product knowledge, professionalism, involvement to the present profession, marketing cooperator, customer orientation and self management. Marketing cooperator and product knowledge was relatively !ow compared to other aptitudity factors. This finding suggests that the special education programs including textile/fashion product knowledge and value of field information for fashion salesperson is needed to enhance the integrated fashion marketing. The job aptitudity of salesperson was correlated with fashion involvement, fashion innovativeness, ongoing information searching, and job satisfaction. The job aptitudity-related scales which showed significant relation to job aptitudity in this study could be used as the index to examine the job aptitudity of potential employees of fashion retail company.

The Person-organization Fit and the Person-job Fit of Public Officials in Charge of Social Welfare Impact on Job Enthusiasm: Focused on the Mediation Effect of Organizational Committment (사회복지전담공무원의 개인-조직적합성과 개인-직무적합성이 직무열의에 미치는 영향: 조직몰입의 매개효과)

  • In this paper, we wanted to look at the effects of person-organization fit and person-job fit of social welfare officials on the job enthusiasm, but also examine the mediated effect of organizational committment. The study found that person-job fit has a positive effect on the job enthusiasm of public officials in charge of social welfare, and that the mediating effect of organizational committment is also partially covered. However, person-organization fit does not have a direct impact on job enthusiasm, but has been shown to have a full mediated effect through organizational committment. As a result of these studies, social welfare officials are judged to lack consistency and affinity within the organization, while their individual abilities, purposes, and demands are in line with their duties and job enthusiasm for their duties. Therefore, it is necessary to provide support at the organizational level and to create a sense of unity in order to enhance the job enthusiasm of public officials in charge of social welfare.

Effects of Person-environment Fit on the Job Performance of Public Officials (공무원의 환경 적합성이 직무수행에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the effects of person-environment fit on the job performance in the National Assembly legislative support organization. Job performance was classified into task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. Impacts of each factors on the job performance were identified through structural equation model. From the results of analysis, it was confirmed that supplementary fit of officials of legislative support organization of the National Assembly had a positive effect on task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. However, complementary-fit does not directly affect task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. Rather complementary-fit affects job performance by the mediating role of variable self-efficacy. The implications of this study confirm that it is important to match between organization members and jobs in order to improve the job performance of civil servants in the legislative support organization. The necessity of introducing self-efficacy enhancement program into the education and training process of the legislative support organization was proposed.

  • A purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job embeddedness on job satisfaction and turnover intention of construction IT worker and to verify the effects of job satisfaction as intervening variable on turnover intention. To achieve the purpose of this study, field survey was performed. To summarize the results of this study is as follows. First, if job embeddedness of construction IT worker (fit, links, sacrifice) in a workplace is high, turnover intention will be low; the result shows that there is a relation in relation level 0.00. Second, if job embeddedness of construction IT worker (fit, links, sacrifice) in a workplace is high, job satisfaction will be high it was excluded in working period links as there was no relation, but there was a statistical relation in service links, fit, and sacrifice for an organization. Third, if job satisfaction of construction IT worker in a workplace is high, turnover intention will be low this hypothesis can be adopted as there was a statistical relation. Fourth, job satisfaction works on the effect of job embeddedness (fit, links, sacrifice) on turnover intention as intervening variable.

The Impacts of ERG Factors on Organizational Attachment: Focused on the Mediating Effects Job Fit (ERG요인이 조직애착에 미치는 영향: 직무적합성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This research emphasized that the importance of ERG elements such as existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs. Moreover, it focused on verifying the effects of these three elements on organizational attachment through person job fit. In addition, the mediating role of person job fit was clearly identified as a key variable that can lead to organizational attachment. To verify this, an empirical analysis was conducted on workers engaged in state-owned company, service, manufacturing, and distribution industries in Korea. Through empirical analysis, it was found that all three elements of ERG improve person job fit. Furthermore, person job fit was found to increase the level of organizational attachment. Thus, it was found that person job fit played a partial mediating role in the relationship between the three elements of ERG and organizational attachment. This research also identified which element has the strongest influence on person job fit. Through these results, practical implications were presented and future research directions were discussed.

  • This study aimed at adult learners attended in a Junior college's Bachelor's degree course who experience job-related, relationship-related dimensions in the work life which affect the intention to skill development identified a mechanism that affects an person-job fit, person-supervisor fit relationship between conformity and intention to skill-development in the job satisfaction of the effects of the parameters was assessed. Results of this study validate the hypothesis First, person-job fit, person-supervisor fit job satisfaction the suitability appeared to affect significantly Second, job satisfaction continues to assist in the intention to skill development also appeared to influence. Third, job satisfaction fully mediated the suitability of the intention to skill development even appeared to affect the person-supervisor fit also fully mediated by job satisfaction continues to assist in the skill development affect showed that effect. This study of adult learners in skill-development activities, ranging from environmental factors, identify the cause of that new attempts in terms of theoretical implications with and the company's human resource management perspective and practical implications in terms of adult education and discuss the limitations of the study was.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 항공사 객실승무원의 직무착근도의 세부구성요인인 적합성(fit), 희생성(sacrifice)및 연계성(links)요인이 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 실증분석 한 결과, 직무착근도의 세부구성요인인 적합성, 희생성 및 연계성요인 모두가 직무만족과 조직몰입에 강한 긍정적인 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 이직의도에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다.
