  • This study undertook an empirical analysis to examine the impact of various factors on entrepreneurial intention among young people, with a particular focus on the role of startup mentoring. Employing a survey distributed nationwide, data from 250 valid respondents were subjected to structural equation modeling to investigate these dynamics. The analysis uncovered that workplace stress, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control positively influence the entrepreneurial intentions of youth. Meanwhile, technological constraints negatively affected these intentions. The study did not explore the potential effects of future uncertainty and the burden of failure. Significantly, it was found that startup mentoring plays a crucial role in mitigating the negative impacts that may deter young individuals from pursuing entrepreneurship. Mentoring was instrumental in reducing negative influences, thereby fostering a more conducive environment for entrepreneurial ambition. By integrating the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) models, this research not only validates these frameworks within the context of youth entrepreneurship but also underscores the essential function of startup mentoring in enhancing entrepreneurial intentions. The insights from this study highlight the importance of mentoring programs in nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among the youth, suggesting that targeted mentoring support can play a pivotal role in overcoming barriers to entrepreneurship.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how a leader's organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) affects subordinates' interpersonal citizenship behavior (ICB) and job stress levels. A leader's OCB involves taking-charge behavior, loyal boosterism, and the industry. We hypothesized that leader-member exchange (LMX) would mediate the relationship between leader's OCB and subordinates' ICB and job stress level. We tested the model using a sample of 293 employees from different organizations from September 2019 until November 2019. We conducted confirmatory factor analyses of the variables and analyzed the data by using structural equation modeling. We also conducted a CFA to assess the fit of a three-factor model for the leader's OCB items. Empirical findings show that LMX fully mediated the effect of leader's OCB on employees' ICB and job stress level. Leader's OCB had a positive effect on LMX. Moreover, LMX had a positive effect on employees' ICB but had a negative effect on job stress. We found support for our hypotheses that leader's OCB is positively related to ICB but negatively related to job stress, and this relationship is mediated by LMX. We discuss limitations, implications for practice, and future research.

Results: The factors affecting nursing performance of the subjects were resilience (β=0.58, p<.001), and current position is head nurse (β=0.21, p<.01), the number of working years at current working place (β=0.18, p<.05). The F statistics for the fit of the estimated regression model was very significant as 30.901(p<.001) and the explanatory power was 42.4%. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that resilience was the most influential factor to nursing performance of general hospital nurses, and the number of working years at current working place was the most influential factor to the performance of head nurses. • The purpose of this study was to explore the causal relationships between turnover intention and its influencing factors among married female nurses. The participants included 148 married nurses at 5 general hospitals in J city. Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires and were analyzed by using SPSS and AMOS software. The overall fitness of the modified path model to the data was good ($x^2/df=0.002$, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 1.00, RMSEA = 0.00, NFI = 1.00, CFI = 1.00, TLI = 1.09). Job stress, social support, work-family conflict, and burnout explained 32.0% of the variance in turnover intention of the participants. In particular, work-family conflict had a complete mediating effect between job stress and burnout. In addition, work-family conflict had partial mediating effects between social support and burnout as well as between social support and turnover intention. Social support had direct and indirect effects on work-family conflict, burnout, and turnover intention. In conclusion, strategies for decreasing married nurses' burnout and turnover intention should focus on reducing work-family conflict and increasing social support.

  • This study sought to propose ways to improve the happiness of Chinese product designers by verifying whether grit moderates the effect of job stress on happiness through professional values. A purposively sampled participants of 335 Chinese product designers living in Guangdong Province, southern China, were selected. Data analysis was performed using SPSS PC+ Win. Ver. 26.0 and PROCESS Macro ver. 4.2. The statistical techniques applied were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The research results are as follows. First, job stress showed a negative correlation with professional value and grit, but did not show a significant correlation with happiness. Except for job stress, there was a positive significant correlation between other variables. Second, the conditional indirect effect was significant when grit was M-SD, M, or M+SD. M+SD. Therefore, the moderated mediating role of grit was verified. However, as professional value increased, grit played a role in increasing happiness. Still, in the path of job stress -> professional value -> happiness, grit did not buffer the negative effect of job stress on happiness through professional stress. Suggestions were made to improve the happiness of product designers using professional values and grit.
