A Study on Antecedents and Consequences of Empathy Ability of Service Employee (서비스 제공자 공감능력의 영향요인과 결과요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study focused on finding how to raise the positive effect of a service employee on the organization by strengthening his sympathetic feeling at the position of business, not the position of customer and how to reduce the negative effect. The specific objectives of the study are: First, the effect factors of the empathy abilities (cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee are largely classified as the social support (supervisor support, co-worker support) to the service employee and the self-soothing ability. Therefore, this study tries to verify the relationship between the self-soothing ability, and social support and empathy which are preceding factors of the empathy of a service employee. Second, it also tries to verify the relationship between job stress and empathy ability(cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee. As a result of the verification of the study hypothesis, first, the social support was distinguished as supervisor support and co-worker support, and the empathy ability was distinguished as cognitive empathy and emotional empathy. As a result of verifying the relationship between social support and empathy ability, the supervisor support did not have a positive effect on cognitive empathy while the co-worker support did have a positive effect of cognitive empathy. The supervisor support had a positive effect on emotional empathy and the co-worker support had a positive effect on emotional empathy. Second, the self-soothing ability of a service employee had a positive effect on empathy ability and a positive effect on both cognitive empathy and emotional empathy. Finally, the empathy ability(cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee was shown to have a negative effect on the job stress of a service employee.

Empowerment Program Development and Effects for Internationally Married Women in Social Enterprises (사회적 기업에서 활동하는 결혼이주여성의 역량강화 프로그램 개발 및 효과)

  • This study is aimed to develop and apply the empowerment program for Internationally married women working in social enterprises. Empowerment program consisted of six main construct factors such as job or child, being acknowledged as a family member, enduring for economic work, developing myself, getting to know company culture, living a meaningful life for a korean. According to research analysis, self-identity, self-efficacy, coping ability and social problem solving has significant effects on the program. Based on the results of this study, some discussion and suggestions were proposed for the empowerment program for internationally married women in social enterprises.

  • 4차 산업혁명 대비 방송미디어 교육학습 역량을 강화하기 위해서는 현장중심의 교육 모델을 개발하여 활성화 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 특성화 대학의 방송미디어 교육 품질을 향상시키는데 기여하기 위해 방송채널을 운영하며 이를 활용하여 방송미디어 교육과 접목시킨 연구 결과에 대해 기술하였다. 이론교육과 단순한 실습으로 종합예술분야인 방송제작 역량을 키우는 데는 한계가 있다. 따라서 실제 현장직무를 수행하는 전국방송채널을 개국하여 축적된 방송미디어 인프라를 활용하고 방송국을 중심으로 한 현장중심의 교육체계를 구축, 운영함으로써 교육의 질을 향상시켰다. 그 결과, 서로 다른 전공의 학생들이 콘텐츠 제작 교육에 함께 참여함으로써 직무능력 향상 및 취업의 확대는 물론이고 대학의 비즈니스모델 창출로 산학협력도 강화되는 계기를 마련하였다.

자격검정제도의 제안

  • 한국주거학회 자격관리위원회는 자격검증을 위한 과목 선정을 위해 다수의 검정과목안의 장단점을 비교 분석하고, 국내 12개 주거학과의 의견조회 결과를 참고로 하여, 현행 주거학과의 교과과정을 잘 포괄하고 있고 직무영역의 능력을 균형적으로 평가할 수 있는 (가칭)2급 주택사 검정과목(안)과 직무영역의 평가가 강화된 (가칭)1급 주택사 검정과목을 제안하였다. (가칭)주택사는 설정된 검정과목에 따라 2급 주택사의 검정방법은 1차, 2차로 구분하여 실시하고 1차는 기본 지식 및 이론을 평가하는 객관식 시험형태를, 2차는 실무능력을 평가하는객/주관식 혼용의 시험형태를 제안하였다. 1급 주택사는 1차에 한하며 실무의 전문성을 평가하기 위한 논술형을 시험형태로 하였다. 또한 응시자격은 국가기술자격법 시행령 제 21조 제1항과 관련하여 2급의 경우 "기사"등급에, 1급의 경우 "기술사" 등급에 해당하는 자격을 기준으로 제안하였다.

Study on Redesign of Landscape Architect Certification Requirements by Utilizing NCS (국가직무능력표준을 활용한 조경분야 자격종목 재설계 방안 연구)

  • Recent changes in landscape architectural field, such as keen attention on central and local government, checks of other related fields, circumstances both inside and outside the construction industry, assume hostile attitude towards qualification system in landscape architecture. By securing the original function of qualification meets the environmental changes and accords to the technical development, practicality and serviceability of qualification as well as credit rating and professional status can be enforced. Framework redesign on landscape architecture National Technical Qualifications(NTQ) is required in order to meet the demand in the industrial fields and to reflect the technical changes. National Competency Standards(NCS) was selected as a precedent study to enhance the practicality and serviceability of NTQ as well as to avoid duplication on qualified requirements. It would provide a model to redesign the framework of landscape architecture NTQ. In this study, questions in NCS and in landscape architecture certification are compared and analyzed to review the suitability of the present landscape architecture certification items. In conclusion, the creation of master landscape architect under the present system, and the subdivision of the technician's license level to planting technician and the facility are recommended. The ability units to be qualified for each level, which would be used for future NTQ standards and university curriculums in relevant fields, are also suggested in this study.

  • When library performance is regarded as service quality, competency in human resources should be considered as an influential factor. This study aims to identify relationships between job satisfaction of librarians and the service quality that users recognize in public libraries. Librarians and users in 10 public libraries in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi province were sampled to measure job satisfaction and service quality with $LibQUAL+^{TM}$ model. As a result, the higher the satisfaction of the duty itself and organizational factor show a high service quality. Consequently, to improve library customer satisfaction, the librarian's job satisfaction should be considered. Additionally, some practical implications are discussed.

  • Domestic casino companies strongly demand their employees to provide high quality customer services for improving customer's satisfaction and to minimize customer's complain to achieve organizational objective. This seriously influences the job stress, job satisfaction and turnover of employees. However, ongoing management is necessary for job satisfaction and turnover intention of employees because which are related to organizational effectiveness and factors able to maximize the profit. In this study, we examined the influence and causal relationship of job stress from emotional labor of employees on job satisfaction and turnover intention of employees. As a result, job stress had a full mediating effect in the relationship between emotional labor, job satisfaction and turnover intention. It was confirmed that emotional labor of casino employees could cause job stress and further influence job satisfaction and turnover intention. In order to reduce job stress and improve job satisfaction, we propose the improvement of overall human management structure and company environment of casino companies. Emotional education such as emotional regulation ability, empathy, and interpersonal skills should be strengthened to reduce job stress from emotional labor, and the self-esteem program will be helpful to casino employees to maintain the emotional positiveness and maximize their working abilities.

Strengthening Teacher Competencies in Response to the Expanding Role of AI (AI의 역할 확대에 따른 교사 역량 강화 방안)

  • This study investigates the changes in teachers' roles as the impact of AI on school education expands. Traditionally, teachers have been responsible for core aspects of classroom instruction, curriculum development, assessment, and feedback. AI can automate these processes, particularly enhancing efficiency through personalized learning. AI also supports complex classroom management tasks such as student tracking, behavior detection, and group activity analysis using integrated camera and microphone systems. However, AI struggles to automate aspects of counseling and interpersonal communication, which are crucial in student life guidance. While direct conversational replacement by AI is challenging, AI can assist teachers by providing data-driven insights and pre-conversation resources. Key competencies required for teachers in the AI era include expertise in advanced instructional methods, dataset analysis, personalized learning facilitation, student and parent counseling, and AI digital literacy. Teachers should collaborate with AI to emphasize creativity, adjust personalized learning paths based on AI-generated datasets, and focus on areas less amenable to AI automation, such as individualized learning and counseling. Essential skills include AI digital literacy and proficiency in understanding and managing student data.

An Educational Needs Analysis for Job Applicants Relating to the Core Competency Used in National Competency Standards(NCS-Based) Recruitment (국가직무능력표준(NCS) 기반 채용에서 직업기초능력에 대한 취업준비생의 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in perceptions of job applicants on core competency in the recruitment environment based on National Competence Standards(NCS), and also to obtain information relating to the seeking of employment and employment education plans. A survey and paired t-test were conducted on 355 job applicants of vocational colleges and four-year universities. Through these applicants, the difference between the current level and level of importance dependent on areas of core competency was analyzed. In addition, IPA analysis was conducted in order to confirm the educational necessity in this area. As a result, there were significant differences between the current level and level of importance in all 10 areas. IPA analysis confirmed that educational needs are prioritized. As a result, it was found that the areas which should be strengthened in both groups were interpersonal ability, communication ability, numerical ability, problem solving ability, and self-development ability. The area recognized as being in 'a state of excess' was resource management ability. As a result of checking the necessity levels of the two groups, it was found that job applicants of vocational colleges had to strengthen their problem solving ability, and the applicants of four-year universities had to intensify their communication ability, interpersonal ability, and information ability.

  • Recently, colleges and universities provide programs of field experience for students to improve career development skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of participating field experience on communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. Data were collected from 1,887 college students, and were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. As a result, students who participated field experience program improved their communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. This study is expected to be utilized as basic references to promote field experience program in colleges and universities.
