Analysis of Inundation Pattern of Excavation Site Using Hydrodynamic Model (동수역학 모델을 이용한 굴착공사 현장 침수 양상 해석)

  • 최근 전체 산업재해율은 계속적으로 감소 추세를 보이는 반면, 건설업의 재해율은 증가하는 추세를 내타내고 있다. 이러한 건설업 공종별 재해유형은 임시구조물과 관련된 가설공, 굴착공, 철근콘크리트공의 재해율이 타 공종에 비해 높게 나타난다. 이는 공종 진행에 따라 변화되는 건설현장의 위험요소를 사전에 인지하여 제어·관리할 수 있는 사고예측 기술 및 대응 기술의 부재로 안전사고가 높게 발생한 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 상황 속에서 건설현장에서 빈번하게 발생하는 다양한 재해 상황에 대하여 공사별, 규모별, 공정별 대응 체계를 마련하고, 굴착공사 중 침수 발생 시 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 실용적인 긴급대응 방안을 확보함으로써 경제적인 손실뿐만 아니라 인명피해를 최소화하는 방안 마련이 필요하다. 공사 현장 재해 상황 중 침수는 태풍 또는 집중호우 시 공사구간이 침수되어 근로자 수몰 등의 피해가 발생하고, 절토면이 붕괴되는 등 2차적인 피해로 이어진다. 이러한 침수의 원인은 공사 현장의 저지대 위치, 집중호우 시 최대 강우량에 대한 대비 소홀, 양수기 부족 및 고장, 인접 배수로 배수기능 불량 등의 복합적인 원인들로 인하여 발생한다. 또한 굴착공사 현장의 침수는 공사기간 동안 개별 공종에 따라 침수발생 양상이 달라질 수 있다. 따라서 각 공종별 발생 가능한 침수 양상에 대한 예방/대응 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 사용되는 HDM-2D 수리 동역학 모델은 2차원 흐름해석 프로그램으로 복잡한 하천지형이나 공사현장과 같은 불연속면에서 유속 및 수심 등을 계산한다. 또한 마름/젖음 현상 등 복잡한 수리현상에 대한 정교한 모의 기능 및 침수해석 등 어떠한 계산영역이나 흐름조건에서도 정확하고 안정적인 모의를 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 공사현장과 같은 불연속면에서 각 공종에 따라 발생할 수 있는 침수양상에 대한 모의를 진행하고 각 공종별 침수양상을 비교분석 하였다. 이를 통해서 굴착공사 현장 침수피해 예측 모델을 개발하여 개발된 기술을 사용하여 기후변화에 따른 강우량 증가와 이에 따른 수재해로 인한 건설현장 침수 발생 및 인명, 재산피해를 최소화하고자 한다.

The Influence Analysis of GIS-based Soil Erosion in Water-pollutant Buffering Zone (GIS기반 수변구역의 토사유실 영향 분석)

  • Geology and terrain of Imha basin has a very weak characteristics to soil erosion, so much soil particles flow into Imha reservoir and bring about high density turbid water when it rains a lot. Especially, since the agricultural area of Imha basin is mainly located in river boundary, Imha reservoir has suffered from turbid water by soil erosion. Therefore, it is important to estimate the influence of soil erosion to establish efficient management of water-pollutant buffering zone for the reduction of turbid water. By applying GIS-based RUSLE model, this study can acquire 12.23% that is the ratio of soil erosion in water-pollutant buffering zone and is higher than area-ratio (9.95%) of water-pollutant buffering zone. This is why the area-ratio of agricultural district (27.24%) in water-pollutant buffering zone is higher than the area-ratio of agricultural district (14.96%) in Imha basin. Also as the result of soil erosion in sub-basin, Daegok basin shows highest soil erosion in water-pollutant buffering zone, second is Banbyeon_10 basin and last is Seosi basin.

  • 2020년 역대 최장의 기간을 기록한 장마는 8월초 기록적인 폭우와 홍수로 이어지면서 전국 곳곳에 많은 인명과 재산피해 등 커다란 상처를 남겼다. 최근의 재해 발생 및 특성을 살펴보면 수자원 시설물의 운영·관리 기준의 한계를 벗어난 극단적 기후 현상의 규모와 발생빈도가 급격하게 증가하는 추세가 나타나고 있다. 이처럼 기후위기의 영향으로 집중호우, 극한가뭄 등의 발생빈도와 그 강도가 급증하는 상황에서 실제상황을 보다 신속, 정확하게 모니터링하고 예측하여 물관련 재해를 예방하고 대처하는 것은 무엇보다 시급한 과제라 할 수 있다. 또한 세계 각국은 코로나19로 인한 패러다임의 변화에 대응하고 경제위기 극복을 위해 산업 전반에 걸쳐 디지털 전환을 가속화 하고 있다. 정부도 코로나19로 촉발된 위기 극복을 위해 한국판 뉴딜의 대표과제로 디지털 트윈 사업을 추진하고 있다. K-water는 정부의 디지털 전환 정책에 발맞추어 기후위기에 따른 물관리의 복잡성, 불확실성에 대응하고 효율성과 신뢰도를 제고하기 위해 섬진강유역을 대상으로 디지털 트윈 물관리 플랫폼 구축을 추진하였다. 본 플랫폼은 유역내 기상·수문 관측자료를 실시간으로 모니터링하고 홍수, 가뭄, 수질, 댐안전 등 다양한 이슈를 사전에 시뮬레이션하여 결과를 3차원 지형에 표출하고 이에 대한 피드백을 통해 최적의 의사결정을 지원하는 체계로 구성되어 있다. K-water는 물관리 디지털 전환을 위하여 섬진강유역 구축을 기반으로 5대강 유역을 대상으로 플랫폼 구축을 확대할 예정이며, 댐하류·지류 합류부 등 재해 취약지역까지 아우르는 종합적인 물관리 의사결정의 One-System 플랫폼 구축을 확대할 예정이다. 이를 통해 유역 전체의 수문상황을 실시간으로 파악 및 신속하게 대응하고, 정확성이 향상된 의사결정으로 보다 효율적이고 안전한 물관리 기반을 마련하고자 한다. 또한 본 플랫폼에 기반한 디지털 물관리 기술 선도로 새로운 물산업 생태계를 조성하고, 민간기업과의 핵심기술 공동개발 등 기술협력을 통해 디지털 물산업 기술 경쟁력 확보에도 기여하고자 한다.

  • 최근 우리나라는 지속적으로 국지성 집중호우 발생빈도와 총강우량이 증가하고 있다. 서울시와 같이 대부분의 지역이 도심지로 구성되어 있는 경우, 하천범람으로 인한 홍수피해 뿐만 아니라 하수관로의 성능부족으로 인해 침수가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 이에 서울시에서는 피해를 최소화하고 대응수준 향상을 위해 침수지역 및 통수능 부족 관로 예측이 가능한 서울시 하수관로 성능관리 시스템을 개발하여 활용하고 있다. 서울시 하수관로 성능관리시스템에서는 유역특성과 방류구를 기준으로 결정한 603개 소유역 단위로 하수관로에 관한 다양한 정보를 제공한다. 시스템은 소유역, 하수관로, 수방시설물, 방재성능 메뉴로 구성되어 있다. 소유역 메뉴에서는 603개 소유역별 제원정보, 하수관로 및 수방시설물 개수, 관측소 개수 등의 정보를 제공하며, 하수관로 메뉴에서는 소유역 내 600mm 이상의 관로 및 맨홀에 대한 제원정보를 제공하고, 수방시설물 메뉴에서는 소유역 내 빗물펌프장, 빗물저류조, 관측소에 대한 제원정보를 제공한다. 또한, 방재성능 메뉴에서는 총강우량, 기점수위, 빗물받이효율을 반영한 40개 시나리오 기반의 관로 단위 통수능 정보와 소유역 단위 침수 정보를 제공한다. 방재성능 및 침수정보 제공을 위해 분석모델은 1차원 관망해석에 SWMM(Storm Water Management Model)과 2차원 침수해석에 2DIS(2Dimension Inundation Solution)를 활용하였다. 적용자료는 서울시 내 600mm 이상의 우수관로체계, 빗물펌프장, 빗물저류조 등 수방시설물고, 5m 단위 고해상도 지형자료를 적용하였다. 서울시 하수관로 성능관리시스템은 현재 서울시 현업에서 활용 중에 있으며, 지속적인 운영과 개선을 통해 추후에는 하수관로 운영 및 관리의 효율성 증대와 데이터에 근거한 하수관로 정책입안과 하수관로 관련사업 추진이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Development of Expansive Contents for Jeju-do Geopark - Focus on Sanbangsan and Yongmuri Beach- (제주도 지오파크의 발전적 콘텐츠 개발 - 산방산·용머리 해안을 중심으로 -)

  • Sanbangsan and Yongmuri Beach as geosites are very wide areas, and tourists have accessed them via various courses; hence the need to double the number of geosite signs and disperse them at each point. The signs should read "Sanbangsan lava dome," "Yongmuri tuff ring," and "Relationship between the Sanbangsan lava dome and Yongmuri tuff ring." The contents of the sign should be systemic, simple, and clear because tourists have to read it in a short time. The viewpoint of the research area can be largely divided into Sanbangsan View, Yongmuri Beach View, Sanbangsan, and Yongmuri Beach View. Three of each viewpoint (total of 9 viewpoints) can be placed. In the geosite of Sanbangsan and Yongmuri Beach are 5 sub-theme views including the boundary sheet of Sanbangsan and Yongmuri tuff ring, xenolith basalt, marine pothole, tafoni, and crossed sedimentary layer. These sub-theme views are important in understating not only the geosite but the overall geopark as well, so they should be developed and utilized aggressively.

Formation and Evolution of the Paleo-Seomjin River Incised-Valley System, Southern Coast of Korea: 1. Sequence Stratigraphy of Late Quaternary Sediments in Yosu Strait (한반도 남해안 고섬진강 절개곡 시스템의 형성과 진화: 1. 여수해협의 후기 제 4기층에 대한 순차층서)

  • Detailed interpretation of some high-resolution seismic profiles in Yosu Strait reveals that Late Quaternary deposits consist of three allostratigraphic units (UH, LH, PL) formed by fluvial and tidal controls. The top mud unit, UH, thins onshore, and overlies the backstepping modem Seomjin delta deposits, which is interpreted as a transgressive systems tract (757) related to Holocene relative sea-level rise. The unit LH below the unit UH is composed of delta, valley- and basin-fill facies. The delta facies (Unit $LH_1$) occurs only in Gwangyang Bay and shows two prograding sets retrogradationaly stacked, thus it is also interpreted as a transgressive systems tract(757). On the contrary, the valley- and basin-fill facies (Unit $LH_2$), interpreted as 757, occur between the units UH and PL (Pleistocene deposits) in Yosu Strait. The bounding surface between UH and $LH_2$ can be interpreted as a tidal ravinement surface on the basis of trends thinning toward inner bay and becoming young landward. Furthermore its geomorphological pattern is similar to that of recent tidal channels. This allostratigraphy in'ffsu Strait suggests that two 757 deposits (UH and $LH_2$), divided by tidal ravinement surface, have been formed in Yosu Strait, whereas in Gwangyang Bay backstepping delta deposits ($LH_1$) without tidal ravinement surface have been formed during Holocene sea-level rise. These characteristics indicate that different stacking patterns could be formed in these two areas according to different increasing rate of accommodation space caused by different geomorphology, sediment supply and tidal-current patterns even in the same period of Holocene sea-level rise.

Aesthetic Landscape Assessment Based on Landscape Units in the Han River Riparian Area (경관단위 기반 수변환경의 심미적 평가 - 한강 수변을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose management strategies through aesthetic landscape assessments for landscape units in the Han River riparian(HRR) area. First, this research reclassified the HRR into "natural," "artificial," "agricultural," and mixed landscape types and selected 37 representative case areas(about $1km{\times}1km$). This study found 71 landscape units in consideration of topography and land surface classification. Landscape assessment consisted of landscape quality and landscape integration assessment. The criteria for assessing landscape quality were "naturalness," "interest," "uniqueness," and "landscape function." "Landscape quality" was ranked into five grades using a matrix. The landscape integration assessment consisted of an inner integration assessment in each landscape unit and outer integration assessment among landscape units. As a result of the field study, case sites were found to have 4,288 landscape units and an area of $42.8km^2$. The forest area was found to have the most space with $11,580,905m^2$(27.1%), while the wet lands had just $52,348m^2$(0.1%). In the landscape quality assessment, about 30.5% of the total area consisted of landscape units that scored highest in "naturalness". In the landscape integration assessment, about 39.3% of the total area consisted of landscape units which scored highest in "integration", denoting visual interrelation and harmony. The existence of disparities in landscape quality in accordance with the form of the landscaping was determined using a Oneway ANOVA, with "naturalistic" landscaping scoring the highest and "artificial" landscaping scoring lowest. This study may contribute to making the HRR area a more ecologically sound and visually attractive landscape space. It is recommended that the aesthetical and ecological value of the landscape unit should be assessed simultaneously in the future.

Soil Properties of Chestnut (Castanea crenata) Stands by Regions in Gyeongnam Province (경상남도 밤나무임지의 지역별 토양특성)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate soil properties by regions from chestnut (Castanea crenata Sieb. et Zucc) stands in Gyeongnam province. Soil physical and chemical properties were measured from soil samples of top 20 em collected from three hillslopes (upper, middle, lower) of the chestnut stands in six regions (Jinjusi, Sacheonsi, Sancheonggun, Hadonggun, Goseonggun, Hapcheongun) where are major chestnut cultivation areas throughout the province. Soil properties were significantly different among regions (p<0.05), while were not significantly different among hillslopes (p>0.05). Soil bulk density, soil pore space, soil pH, organic matter content, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, and CEC were significantly different among regions (p<0.05). Soil bulk density was significantly lower (p<0.05) in Hadonggun ($0.96g/cm^3$ than in other regions ($1.12{\sim}1.22g/cm^3$). Soil pH was below pH 5.03 in most regions and Sancheonggun showed the lowest soil pH value (pH 4.62), followed by Jinjusi, Hadonggun, Hapcheongtm, Goseonggun, and Sacheonsi. Organic matter content was highest in Hadonggun (6.46%), while other regions ranged between 2.93% and 3.47%. Total nitrogen content showed a similar trend like the organic matter content. Available phosphorus was above 100 ppm in Jinjusi, Hadonggun and Sancheonggun, but Sacheonsi showed the lowest concentration (15 ppm) among the regions. Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) was above 10 cmolc/kg in Goseonggun and Hadonggun, but below 8.6 cmolc/kg in Jinjusi and Hapcheongtm. Potassium content ranged between 0.07 and 0.14 cmolc/kg, and magnesium was above 0.66 cmolc/kg in all regions. The results indicate that soil property in chestnut stands was different among regions in Gyeongnam province. This suggested that the chestnut stands should be managed by the fertilization application reflected in the variability of regional soil property in chestnut stands.

Regional Analysis of Forest Eire Occurrence Factors in Kangwon Province (강원도 지역 산불발생인자의 지역별 유형화)

  • This study attempts to categorizes the factors of forest fire occurrences based on regional meteorologic data and general forest no characteristics of 18 cities and guns in Kangwon province. lo accomplish this goal, some statistical analyses such as analysis of variance, correspondence analysis and multidimensional scaling were adopted. To reveal the forest fires pattern of study region, a categorization process was conducted by employing the quantification approach which modified and quantified the metric-data of fire occurrence dates. Also, The fire occurrence similarity was compared by using multidimensional scaling for each study region. The major results are summarized as follows: It was found that the meteorological factors emerged as different to each region are average and maximum temperature, minimum dew point temperature and average and maximum wind speed. In the result of correspondence analysis representing relationships between fire causes and study regions, Kangrung is caused by arsonist, Chulwon, Hwachen and Yanggu caused by military factor, Sokcho and Chunchen caused by the debris burning, and Samchuk caused by general man-caused fires, respectively. Finally, the forest fire occurrence pattern of this study regions were divided into five areas such as, group I including Samchuk, Kangryung, Chunchen, Wonju, Hongchen and Hhoingsung, group II including Donghae, Taebaek, Yangyang and Pyongchang, group III including Jungsun, Chulwon and Whachen, group Ⅵ including Gosung, Injae and Yanggu, and group V including Shokcho and Youngwol.

Evaluation of Ecological quality and establishment of ecological restoration guideline in landscape level of Mt. Moodeung National Park (무등산국립공원의 생태적 질 평가 및 복원 가이드라인 수립)

  • Ecological restoration is an eco-technology, which heals the nature damaged by human activity by imitating organization and function of the integrate nature and thereby provide an inhabitable space for diverse organisms. Such an ecological restoration has to be carried out by applying restoration plan prepared based on the results of diagnostic evaluation discussed in the diversified respects. This study aims to prepare an ecological restoration plan of the damaged forest ecosystem in Mt. Moodeung National Park. To arrive at the goal, first of all, we diagnosed quality of forest landscape established in Mt. Moodeung National Park based on natural (topography, climate, and distribution of vegetation) and artificial (land use, linear landscape element) factors. In addition, we evaluated the integrity of each zone divided by linear landscape element quantitatively based on geometric property and land use intensity. As the result of analysis, topography of Mt. Moodeung National Park tended to be depended on weathering property of parent rock and vegetation zones were divided to three vegetation zones. Based on land use pattern, deciduous broad-leaved forest, evergreen needle-leaved forest, and mixed forest occupied about 90% of Mt. Moodeung National Park. Mean score of forest landscape quality was shown in $69.86{\pm}11.41$. As a result, forest landscape elements in Mt. Moodeung National Park were influenced greatly by human activity and the degree was depended on topographic condition. This study suggested the synthetic restoration plan to improve ecological quality of Mt. Moodeung National Park based on the results of diagnostic evaluation.
