1. Objects of Research This research is purposed to find Dong-mu's thought on 'Knowing-Airing(知行), through summarizing sentences related to 'Knowing-Acting(知行)'proposed in his writings. 2. Methods of Research It was researched bibliologically with Dong-mu's chief medical writings such as ${\ulcorner}$Gyukchigo(格致業)${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon(東醫壽世保元)${\lrcorner}$ , ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon Sasang Chobongyun(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$Dong-mu's posthumos work(東武遺葉)${\lrcorner}$. 3. Results and Conclusions 1.'Knowing(知)'is related to recognition of 'Mind(心)' and 'Acting(行)' is related to practice of 'Body(身)' in ${\ulcorner}$Gyukchigo(格致藁)${\lrcorner}$ . 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Gyukchigo(格致藁)${\lrcorner}$ is regard as a important factor to reach the state of 'Golden mean(中庸)' by 'Perception of Man(知人)' 2. 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)${\lrcorner}$ is difffrent from 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon Sasang Chobongyun(束醫壽世保元圖象草本卷${\lrcorner}$ 'Knowing(知)'is conception of marals such as 'Humanity Jusrire propriety Wisdom(仁義禮智)' and Loyality Filialpiety Friendship Fraternity(忠孝友悌)'. 'Acting(行)' is conception of productivity such as 'Scholar Farm Engineer Merchannt(士農工商)' and 'Field Residence District Nation (田業邦國). 4. 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dong-mu's posthumos work(東武遺葉)${\ulcorner}$ was c1assified into large and small one. The large one is private and the small one is public. It is imponant to become sincere and respectful for achieve 'Ideal medium of Knowing-Acting.'.

The incidence of syphilitic aortic aneurysm was decreased now a day. We experienced a case of huge syphilitic ascending aortic aneurysm from just above portion of aortic annulus to about 1 cm below innominate artery without aortic insufficiency. Surgical correction was done by replacement of ascending aorta with woven Dacron graft under cardiopulmonary bypass. Postoperative course was uneventful and discharged 15 days after surgery with good condition.

1,597 cases of operation on the cardiovascular disease were performed at the Hanyang University Hospital from 1972 to 1987. Of these, 1,005 cases were open heart surgery. It was started from July 1975. Among the open heart cases, 725 were congenital heart diseases and 280 were acquired heart diseases. In congenital heart cases, 554 were acyanotic and 171 were cyanotic. The operative results were as follows; the overall mortality of cardiovascular surgery was 7.1%, the open heart mortality was 9.5%. This analyses were reported in memory of the achievement of 1,000 cases of open heart surgery.

The performance of a 1-bit DAC depends on that of the analog circuits. The mixed SC-CT (switched capacitor-continuous time) architecture is an effective design methodology for the analog circuits. This paper Proposes a new buffer scheme for the 1-bit digital-to-analog subconverter and a new SF-DSC(smoothing filter and differential-to-sig le converter) which performs both the smoothing filter and the differential-to-single convertor simultaneously.

This paper proposes a new locking algorithm of the delay locked loop (DLL) which reduces the lock-acquisition time and eliminates false locking problem to enlarge the operating frequency range. The proposed DLL uses the modified phase frequency detector (MPFD) and the modified charge pump (MCP) to avoid the false locking problem. Adopting a new lock detector that measures delay between elects helps the fast lock-acquisition time greatly. The idea has been confirmed by HSPICE simulations in a 0.35-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS process.

This paper described a replica-delay adaptive lock-acquisition scheme for high-speed DLLs. The proposed scheme provides the fast and correct locking cycle that is variable according to the magnitude of the arbitrary replica delay (fixed delay). The scheme guarantees the wide operation range and the fast lock-aquisition time. It has been confirmed by HSPICE simulations in a 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS process.
