Super-distribution is essential for revitalization of digital contents industry in DRM system. Since existing DRM systems emphasize on security for intellectual property rights, it became restrictions to content distribution and the consumer rights. This paper suggests license management mechanism which strengthen super-distribution between consumers. It is to manage distribution history for each content by inserting consumer's identification information in content head. Client can verify security by comparing header and license after issuing license. It classifies the type of distribution and license, and then applies adaptive distribution methods. It can revitalize contents distribution by releasing proper license for super-distribution.

The watermarking method was suggested to protect the right of the copyright and the right of property, data loss is yes or not, copy prevention and pursuit about the brainchild(music, image, video and so on) in the early 1990. In this paper, we suggest the watermarking algorithm against the geometrical transformation of the medical images applied the Watershed algorithm. The robust watermarking methodology is being suggested using the several algorithm against the attacks such as compression, filtering, noise and geometrical transformation of the medical image.

Geographical data sets are expensive to create and are very easy to copy because the intellectual property rights for the distribution should be protected. The main object of copyright law is to encourage expression of ideas in tangible form and it extend only to original works, it is limited to control the balance of interests between data producers and user. Because the development of a useful legal framework for both private and public activity in this field is an important issue. This paper presents an intial attempt at such a the effective management strategy intended to support continuing research into the legal protection of geographical information.

In multimedia service of Ubiquitous Home Environment(UHE), the requirements such as intelligent service that is executed automatically without direct order of user and fitted service compatible for each user and comfortable of user, interoperability of multimedia contents between incompatible devices will increase. Multimedia protection and management, authentication and authority administration methods that are suitable for above demands are also required. In this paper, we suggest authentication method suited for UHE and propose user oriented multimedia service(UHMS: Ubiquitous Home Multimedia Service) that provides the interoperability of multimedia between incompatible devices, conducts intelligently the context information (preference information, device information etc.) using sensor module and home server, provides and secure services.

As market becomes global, international standardization is more critical for the success of businesses and countries. Especially in the field of ICT(Information and Communication Technology), standardization is more important. Businesses not only try to expand the standard favoring them, but also they try to include their IPR(Intellectual Property Rights) such as patents into the standard. By doing these, businesses can increase their share in the market. In this paper we consider the patents included into the standards of ITU-T and IEEE which are major international standards development organizations(SDO) in the field of ICT. The patent analysis is a meaningful research topic because it helps us to understand the current status and future directions of patent activities. We investigate the patent database with respect to the nationality and institution of patent owners. The results of patent database analysis are included and some comments are presented.

디지털 사회에서는 정보 기술의 발전에 따른 다양한 디지털 컨텐츠들이 필요하고 수많은 디지털 컨텐츠들이 다양한 용도로 사용되고 있다. 그러나 불법복제로 인해 저작권자의 지적재산권을 침해받는 문제가 부각되면서 디지털 컨텐츠의 저작권을 보호하기 위한 많은 기술들이 개발되고 있다. 그 중 DRM은 가장 최적의 기술로 평가되고 있으며 이미 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. DRM을 구성하는 기술 중에 인증기술은 불법복제를 방지하고 저작권을 보호하기 위한 핵심기술이다. 본 논문에서는 DRM의 기존 인증기술들이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 RFID기술을 이용하였다. 제안한 인증 기법은 RFID 태그에 저장된 디지털 컨텐츠의 인증 정보와 디지털 컨텐츠에 저장되어진 인증 정보를 주기적으로 비교하여 인증 여부를 결정한다. RFID 태그는 쉽게 복제될 수 없기 때문에 디지털 컨텐츠의 저작권을 효과적으로 보호할 수 있다.

본 연구는 기업의 기술 유출 및 특허 침해라는 정보 보안 문제 발생 시, 브랜드 기업의 시장 지위에 따라 가해 및 피해 기업에 대한 소비자 반응이 달라질 수 있다는 점에서 착안하였다. 같은 예로 대한민국 국가대표 축구팀이 약팀과의 경기에서 졌을 때, 일부는 경기력을 비난하지만, 일부는 선수 부상, 날씨, 시차 적응 등 상황이 불리했음에도 잘 싸웠다고 평가하는 경우가 있다. 이처럼 어떤 부정적 결과 대해 사람들은 각자 다른 평가를 한다는 맥락에서 기술 유출과 특허 침해와 같은 정보 보안 문제가 발생한 기업에 대해 소비자 인식과 태도는 다르게 나타날 수 있다. 이와 같이 소비자 관점에서 기대와 실제가 불일치한 지각과정을 설명하는 심리적 메카니즘에는 동화-대조 효과가 있다. 본 연구는 기술 유출 및 특허 침해에서 일어나는 소비자 동화-대조 효과를 심리학의 귀인 이론을 통해 설명하고, 이 때 사람들의 귀인 방향이 브랜드 명성이 높을 때와 낮을 때, 기술 유출 경로가 내부자일 때와 내부자가 아닐 때에 나타나는 소비자 반응을 확인하고자 한다. 또한, 이로써 나타나는 소비자 반응을 귀인 이론의 방향성과 메커니즘을 통해 설명하려 한다. 동화-대조 효과에서 나타나는 귀인의 방향성과 소비자 반응 관계를 분석한다면, 추후 기업의 R&D와 기술 개발 전략, 지적 재산권 침해 이후 사태에 대한 대응과 수습에 가이드를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

지적 재산권 보호 중에서 디지털 저작물 보호는 근래에 활발히 연구되고 있으며 법 과학 분야는 지문감식, 치아감정, DNA 등 많은 분야가 있다. 법과학 분야 중 법적용 컴퓨팅(Forensic Computing)에 관한 응용은 새로운 연구 과제이다. 그 중에서도 디지털 저작물에 대하여 증거를 보전 하고자 많은 연구가 진행되고 있지만 디지털 저작물에 관하여 네트워크를 통한 능동적 저작물 보호는 미약하다. 현재의 데이터 추출(Extraction), 발굴(Exploitation), 복구, 암호 해독, 패스워스 풀기(Defeat), 미러 이미징 등의 방법 가지고 해결 못하는 경우와 인터넷 상에서 온라인으로 이루어지는 불법 복제에서 결정적 기여(smoking gun)를 찾아내려고 하는 것이 본 논문에서 해결 하고자 하는 부분이다. 오프라인일 경우도 가능하며 분석된 결과는 변호사/대리인, 법인, 보험회사, 법집행관 등에게 온라인으로 제공한다. 진행 과정은 서버에서 파견시킨, 미션을 부여받은 에이전트가 저작물 불법 복제 상황을 트래킹 한 후, 네트워크를 통하여 정해진 시간별로 서버에 전달하면, 법 조항과 매핑시켜서 분석한 다음 서버의 지식베이스에 저장되어 사용자의 요구에 응하는 능동형 디지털 저작물 보호 관리 시스템이다.

Japan's customs ensure the safety of international trade and trade facilitation has been pursuing. To do this, AEO was introduced to this system and expanding the supply chain currently maintain security and improve customer convenience is necessary to continue to be pursued. In addition, the imposition of customs duties in accordance with changes in the environment to Tariff offenders and increased the amount of tax evasion, smuggling of narcotics, including amphetamines and response, the increase in access is required. In this paper, Japan's tariff and customs administration for the change in the future for Japan-related materials around the Treasury Department's analysis will attempt to draw implications for this.

This paper is to analyzes the recent discussions in the WTO and to draw some basic policy implications for Korea concerning electronic commerce. To foster electronic transactions. the WTO agreement should establish a basic legal framework for international transactions to guarantee a stable and predictable environment. The member countries in the WTO, however, have not formed a consensus on the definition, classification, technological neutrality, and domestic regulations dealing with electronic commerce. Digital transfer and classifications of electronic transfer are the most difficult problems to be solved. The discussions on electronic commerce which had been on hold after the Seattle Ministerial is due to begin in a special working group of specialists. Electronic transactions in Korea have been increased rapidly and the implementation of concrete forms and rules of electronic commerce in the WTO will be influential to international trade as we to adopt them in the transactions. Therefore, we have to open our eyes to the trends of international discussions on this matter and to make our rules and laws of electronic commerce to the international levels.
