A Study on the Torque Ripple Reduction on Brushless DC Motor (브러시리스 직류 전동기의 토크리플 저감에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a method to reduce torque ripple of brushless DC motor by compensating phase delay due to winding inductance. For considering torque ripple comes from the phase winding inductance, torque equation of one phase is derived as Fourier series that is function of the delay. From the equation, also the resultant equation that the current delay is compensated is derived. It is validated that the compensated torque has a form of Fourier series for rectangular wave that is ideal torque, and torque ripple is reduced, consequently. Experimental method for the compensation is realized by replacing switching pattern of inverter by pattern of compensated rotor position. The effectiveness of the proposed method to reduce torque ripple has been demonstrated by the simulation and experimental results using 3 phase 4 pole brushless DC moor.

  • 본 연구에서는 G.983.1 표준에 WDM (Wavelength Division Multiolexing) 기술을 이용하여 WDM-PON 구조를 제시하고, PON상에서의 주된 지연은 upstream 상에서 발생하므로 IEEE 802.Ip를 토대로 각각의 클래스별로 패킷을 분류하여 제안한 알고리즘을 통해 상향 링크상에서의 동적 채널 할당을 실험 하였다. 이를 토대로 WDM-PON에서 각 클래스별 다중 버퍼 방식의 효율성과 채널 할당 알고리즘의 타당성을 확인해 보고자 한다.

Parallelized Architecture of Serial Finite Field Multipliers for Fast Computation (유한체 상에서 고속 연산을 위한 직렬 곱셈기의 병렬화 구조)

  • Finite field multipliers are the basic building blocks in many applications such as error-control coding, cryptography and digital signal processing. Hence, the design of efficient dedicated finite field multiplier architectures can lead to dramatic improvement on the overall system performance. In this paper, a new bit serial structure for a multiplier with low latency in Galois field is presented. To speed up multiplication processing, we divide the product polynomial into several parts and then process them in parallel. The proposed multiplier operates standard basis of $GF(2^m)$ and is faster than bit serial ones but with lower area complexity than bit parallel ones. The most significant feature of the proposed architecture is that a trade-off between hardware complexity and delay time can be achieved.

  • In medical area, very high resolution images, which is loss sensitive data, are used. Therefore, the use of optical internet with high bandwidth and the transmission of high realiability is required. However, according to the nature of the Internet, various data use the same bandwidth and a new scheme is needed to differentiate effectively these data. In order to achieve the differentiation, optical delay line buffers are used. However, these buffers is constructed based on some optimal values such as the average offered load, measured data burst length, and basic delay unit. Once the buffers are installed, they are impossible to reinstall new buffers. So, the scheme changing burst length dynamically was considered. However, this method is highly unstable. Therefore, in this article, in order to guarantee the stable operation of the scheme, the analysis of operation conditions is performed. With the analysis together with the scheme, high resolution medical data with the higher class can transmit stably without loss.

  • A firm decides to go to the project based on its investment analysis. However, the cash flows generated from the real project can not be always coincident with what expected as it follows uncertain behavior and the asymmetric payoff caused by the managerial flexibilities involved in the real asset affects the project value. Amongst various managerial flexibilities entailed in most of the real assets, although investment delay has been known to enhance the project value thanks to its ability to provide new market information to management, the related research to select the time to invest have been just few. Therefore, this research aims to show the theoretical framework to decide when to invest reflecting the behaviors of increasing project value and loss recovery cost due to investment delay with option pricing, related financial economic, and variational theories.

  • 본 논문은 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템의 안정도 분석 및 제어기 설계에 대해서 논의한다. 네트워크 상에서 발생하는 뉴트럴 타입 시간 지연을 모델링하며, 전체 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템은 뉴트럴 타입 시간 지연을 가지는 비선형 시스템이 된다. 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템을 타카기-수게노 (Takagi-Sugeno) 퍼지 시스템으로 모델링한다. 제안하는 퍼지 제어기를 모델링하는 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템과 같은 멤버쉽 함수를 가지게 설계한다. 전체 폐루프 시스템의 안정도를 시간 지연 간격에 종속적이게 분석하고, 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템을 안정화 시키는 퍼지 제어기 설계를 위한 충분 조건을 유도한다. 제안된 필요 충분 조건을 선형 행렬 부등식의 형태로 나타내고, 해를 통하여 퍼지 제어기의 이득값을 설계한다. 예제를 통하여 제안된 이론의 타당성을 확인한다.
