대전은 전국에서 R&D투자가 많은 지역으로 이는 출연연 및 출연연 출신 연구원의 기술창업의 증가로 나타나는 현상으로 볼 수 있다. R&D가 많이 투자됨에 따라 이에 따른 효율성에 대한 분석들이 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 주로 R&D 투자가 대한 지역내총생산, 기업의 생산성 등에 미치는 영향 즉 R&D투자의 효율성 분석을 많이 하고 있다. 본고에서는 지역 R&D투자가 기업의 생산성에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하였다. 특히 지역특화(전략)산업 분야별로 분석하여 지역 R&D 투자의 효율적 배분을 위한 전략방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 분석을 위해서 생산성에 대한 대리변수로 종업원 1인당 매출액 종업원 1인당 부가가치를 종속변수로 설정하였고, 독립변수로 연구개발비, 종업원 1인당 영업이익, 종업원 1인당 자본집약도 등의 변수를 다중회귀모형으로 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과 R&D투자가 매출액과 부가가치에 유의한 영향을 미치지만, 연구개발비가 매출액이나 부가가치 등 생산성 증가에 결정적인 요인으로 나타나지 않았다. 산업별 분석결과 정보통신, 바이오산업보다 부품소재 산업에서 결정계수가 높게 나왔다. 또한 조절회귀모형을 설정하여 조절효과를 분석한 결과 R&D투자는 매출액에 영향을 미치지만, 부가가치는 조절효과가 발생하지 않았다. 이는 지역 R&D투자의 효율적 배분 측면에서 투자의 활성화를 이루고 연구개발 투자가 실질적으로 기업의 생산성 증가에 기여할 수 있도록 견인해야 할 것이다.

This study examines the extent to which community cohesion moderates the effects of neighborhood disorder on community integration among persons with mental illnesses(MI) who are living in the community. Stress process model, social disorganization theory, and neighborhood disorder model were considered with regard to the moderating effect of community cohesion. 692 persons with MI who utilized Community Mental Health Enhancement Centers were surveyed and analyzed, employing moderated regression model. Major findings showed that neighborhood disorder increased social integration. Community cohesion moderated the relationships of neighborhood disorder to three dimensions of community integration: physical, social and psychological integration. Implications for community intervention beyond the individual and service-level interventions were addressed in order to accomplish community integration for persons with MI.

This study was to analyze dynamics of host regional effect in accordance with Mega-events. Yeosu Expo, 2012 was the Mega-event, and dynamic changes in economic indicators such as number of tourists, GRDP, employment rate, and real estate price were analyzed before and after the event. The Mega-event affected positively and increased on the number of tourists. While GRDP affected positively only right before the event, and the employment rate was not significantly affected by the event. The real estate price was increased from the announced time of hosting to the event held, but later decreased. This study suggested the comprehensive method for analyzing the effect of Mega-event and there was a cyclical causality among the result variables.

This study attempts to present investment priorities and select industry for regional economic reinvigorating by analysing regional inter-industry of Chungchong area(including Chungnam and Chungbuk region) After the regional inter-industry table of Chungchong area has been made using a location quotient(LQ) method based on national inter-industry table of 2006 derived from national inter-industry table of 2003 using RAS method, various kind of impacts to Chungchong area are analysed. Manufacturing has the highest result in the result of production-inducing effect and value-added-inducing effect and hotels and restaurants has the highest result in employ-inducing effect. Sensitivity coefficient is highly analysed in mining and quarrying and influential coefficient is highly analysed in manufacturing.

본 연구의 목적은 자연재해나 인위재해로 인한 시설물 피해가 초래하는 경제적 영향을 분석할 수 있는 재해영향평가모형을 개발하고, 2002년도에 발생한 태풍 루사를 연구사례로 하여 본 연구에서 개발한 평가모형의 적용가능성을 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 태풍 루사로 인한 시설물 피해가 초래하는 경제적 영향을 평가하기 위해서 경제분석모형인 다지역 투입산출모형(MRIO model)을 적용하여 서울시, 인천시, 경기도와 수도원외지역의 수해피해 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구방법을 적용하여 지역별 산업별 경제피해영향을 분석한 결과 직간접 수해피해는 총 15조 4천 5백 2십 4억원이고, 고용손실영향은 총 265,476인으로 나타났으며 수도권외지역의 비중이 각각 88,8%와 88.1%를 차지하여 지방경제의 피해가 상당한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 복구비를 투자하였을 경우 총 21조 5천 9백 5십 7억원의 경제파급효과와 412,110인의 고용창출효과가 발생하고, 특히 수도권외지역에서 투자파급효과의 89.3%와 고용창출효과의 89.5%를 차지하여 지방경제 활성화에 크게 기여하는 것으로 분석되었다.

계속되는 조명의 발달에 의하여 과거의 난방, 취사, 보호, 빛 등의 원시적인 기능을 수행하던 빛은 오늘날 다양한 기능과 사회적 역할을 담당하게 되었으며, 도시의 축제적 요소로서 사람들에게 유희적 기능을 제공하게 되었다. 이러한 축제요소로서의 빛은 종교적 행사로서 의미를 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 지역의 이미지 향상 및 홍보효과, 지역주민에게 주는 지역에 대한 자긍심효과, 관광사업 활성화에 따른 경제적 파급효과 둥의 다양한 효과를 가져오고 있다. 유럽의 경우 모닥불이 18세기에 이르러 일루미네이션과 불꽃놀이 등으로 계승되었으며, 우리나라의 경우 신라시대부터 시작된 종교적 행사인 연등제와 정원대보름을 기원으로 한 들불축제가 과거부터 오늘날까지 이어져 내려오고 있다. 유럽에서 시작된 폭죽, 조명을 이용한 빛축제 또한 우리나라의 각 지자체를 중심으로 불꽃놀이와 루미나리에라는 이름으로 개최되고 있다. 또한, 사천시의 창선삼천포대교는 다리의 경관조명을 설치함으로써 지역을 홍보하기 위한 조명축제로 자리매김하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라의 다양한 빛축제의 사례를 분석하여 앞으로 빛축제를 활성화하기 위한 기초 자료로 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구는 무주군 적상산 부근에 위치하는 소유역에서 지표수와 인접한 천층 지하수의 안정동위원소 조성의 시공간적 변화를 규명하기 위해서 시행되었다. 조사는 2001년 8월과 10월, 2002년 4월 세 차례에 걸쳐 수행되었다. 각 계절에 따라 지표수와 지하수의 안정동위원소 조성이 비슷하게 나타나는 것은 이 지역 지표수와 지하수사이에는 배수와 충진이 지속적으로 생기고 있음을 암시한다. 조사지역의 안정동위원소 조성은 북쪽에 위치하는 한강의 안정동위원소 조성보다는 무거우며, 남쪽에 위치하는 섬진강의 안정동위원소 조성보다는 가벼운 위도효과를 잘 나타내고 있다. 또한 시료를 채취한 가장 높은 지점과 가장 낮은 지점의 고도차가 400m인 작은 소유 역에서도 계절의 변화와 관계없이 안정동위원소의 고도효과는 잘 나타나고 있다. 선행된 연구에서 우리나라 강우가 우량효과를 반영하는 결과를 나타내는 것과 같이 강우의 영향을 직접 받는 8월 지표수의 안정동위원소 조성은 10월과 4월보다 더 가벼운 조성을 나타내고 있다.

This paper attempts to examine the effect of EXPO 2012 Yeosu on the economy of Gwangyang bay area. Based on previous successful EXPOs, We identified four major positive effects (direct economic impact, regional infrastructure developments, redevelopment of slum areas and industrial complex, and internationalization of Gwangyang bay area). Especially, EXPO 2012 Yeosu will contribute to make the job creation of 97,842 employees and promote tourism industry. To maximize the above positive effects of EXPO 2012 Yeosu, we suggest several strategic alternatives in this paper. First of all, we need to make several plans for realizing the specialized theme of EXPO 2012 Yeosu. Second, local governments should create a more favorable business environment for foreign investors. Third, we have to make the strategic tourism programs to attract foreign tourists. Finally, local governments need to make the several communication strategies of utilizing mass media and non-mass media.

This research examines the effect of area level characteristics on individual health, particularly focusing on the vulnerable populations in Seoul. We consider adult individuals whose family income is under 1.5 million won, who are aged 65 and over, or who have neither spouse nor job but aged 40 and over as vulnerable populations. Using the 2005 Seoul Citizens' Health Interview Survey, we conducted multilevel analyses to simultaneously investigate the effect of area and individual level characteristics on health. Between-area variance of self-rated health status was greater for the elderly population than for all populations. Area material deprivation index and happiness index were associated with the self-rated health of economically disadvantaged populations. Vulnerable populations showed greater between-area variances in emotional health than the same for all populations. Area happiness index, material deprivation index, the proportion of households below poverty line and street safety showed statistically significant association with emotional health. The effect of area characteristics were particularly salient for the emotional health of elderly population and its between area variance was also notable.

The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of volunteering on the sense of community and the community capacity, and the mediating effect of the sense of community on the relationship between volunteering variables(the period and satisfaction of volunteering) and the community capacity as well. Study population is 1,416 elderly volunteers who participated in the government-sponsored elderly volunteer program for prevention of depression and suicide in 2016. The results show that the experience of volunteering plays an important role in improving the sense of community and the community capacity among the older participants. As for the analysis of the mediating effect, the sense of community has a perfect mediating effect between the period of volunteering and the community capacity, and a partial mediating effect between volunteering satisfaction and the community capacity. Based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
