The current status of information management and information strategy of an enterprise may determine the future capability of the firm, thus the competitiveness in the market. Especially, in case of SME(small and medium enterprise), the level of information management and strategy gives the company readiness in the ever changing business environment. In this study, we investigate the information infrastructure of SMEs operating in Incheon Metropolitan areas whether they can meet the challenge in terms of network, software, IT education, IT finance, etc. We came up some suggestions which might be good alternatives and choices for IT decision makers in local and central government.

글로벌 경쟁 환경 하에서 신발산업이 지속적으로 성장, 발전하기 위해서는 정보기술의 활용도 증진과 e-비즈니스의 활성화를 위한 정보화 교육이 필수적이다. 정보화 교육의 실행을 위해서는 먼저 체계적인 교육 과정이 개발되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 부산지역의 신발업체를 대상으로 실시한 교육수요조사를 토대로 교수체제설계(ISD: Instructional System Design)기법을 적용하여 신발업체를 위한 정보화 교육 과정을 개발하고 이의 효율적 실행을 위한 각종 지원 방안을 제시한다. 교육과정 개발을 통해 낙후되어 있는 신발산업의 정보화 교육을 지원하고, 업종별, 직능별, 수준별 맞춤식 교육의 기틀이 마련될 수 있을 것이다.

중소기업청이 주최하고 인천지방 중소기업청, 중소기업 정보화 경영원에서 주관한 '정보화를 통한 중소기업 경영혁신 우수사례 발표회'가 지난달 13일 인천지방중소기업청 대강당에서 개최됐다. 이번 행사는 정보화 추진에 대해 막연한 거리감을 갖고있는 중소기업들을 대상으로 정보화를 통해 경영혁신의 성과를 거둔 기업들의 사례를 실무진들로부터 직접 들어 볼 수 있도록 마련된 행사로 지역 중소기업 관계자 120여명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 개최됐다. 이날 발표된 주요 내용을 지상 중계한다.
