This research had selected current rural village development projects with the representative meaning of rural regional development projects in order to analyze results of projects and various policies of the government to enhance the quality of resident life and to develop rural regions. For the analysis, this research had selected 2 districts of the case study in Gyeongnam-province and Jeonnam-province, respectively. In the result of the satisfaction analysis on the projects, it was considerably difficult to analyze satisfaction degree by using a clear distinction of each region type when promoting overall project. However, this research confirmed that there were some differences about residents' understanding of the project and satisfaction degree in the process of projects according to the regional characteristics (rural and mountain areas). In general, two districts' residents of rural areas expressed relatively more negative feedbacks in process of the project compared to two district residents of mountain areas. This research suggested that it is needed to have residents' understanding of the project, a restoration of village community spirit to help each other and to cooperate, fostering a desirable leader, establishing effective village regulations, transition into an open and inclusive attitude, promoting rural village development project, and realization of the operating method in order to have an amicable project process in the future.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the program according to the local characteristics of the elderly welfare center and to present the development direction of the elderly welfare center in the future. The questionnaire was administered to 344 elderly welfare centers nationwide and 304 questionnaires were used for analysis. Based on the regional characteristics of the elderly welfare center, three types were derived and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: First, the projects which showed difference according to the regional characteristics of the elderly welfare center were the functional recovery program, counseling, emotional support, and community welfare program. Second, it was found that the elderly welfare centers had different programs according to their areas. The results showed that the elderly welfare centers had different programs, group programs, self-help groups, beauty services, employment support education, economic education, retirement preparation education, home helper service, generation integration program, mobile welfare business and regional cooperation project. Based on these results, it is suggested that the development direction of the elderly welfare center is necessary to develop the program of the elderly welfare center according to the characteristics of the region and it is necessary to guarantee autonomy so that the elderly welfare center can operate the program.

Inter-Korean cooperative tourism business has turned mutual confrontation and tension between two Koreas for the past 50 years to a peace, stability, mutual understanding and co-prosperity. Currently, with a million tourists visiting Mt. Kumgang, a new chapter for reconciliation and peace opened in inter-Korean cooperation. This study was initiated as an attempt to discern how inter-korean cooperative tourism business can effectively promote local tourism and economy. The purposes of this study are (1) to explore the present tourism situation of Goseong in Gangwon province such as tourism policy, tourism ressources and infrastructure, tourism products and tourist arrivals; (2) to examine the effect of Mt. Kumgang Tourism Business on the tourism development of Goseong; and (3) to investigate any significant relationship among its factors. This study examines the experiences of 189 Goseong resident groups. The findings of this study will provide future policy makers with useful implications in tourism planning and management.

전국적으로 도시재생에 대한 연구와 사업이 진행되고 있는 시점에서 창원시의 마을흔적보전사업은 지역 맞춤형 도시재생의 한 가지 사례가 될 수 있다. 마을흔적보전사업은 재개발, 재건축으로 사라지는 옛 마을의 흔적을 보전하여 주민들의 추억과 마을역사, 공동체 문화를 이어주는 도시재생사업의 일환이다. 마을흔적보전사업은 현대산업발전의 시대적 산물이며 주민들의 공통된 추억과 기억이 담긴 공간과 환경이 도시개발과정에서 멸실되는 것을 방지한다. 또 지역의 문화적 가치를 창출함으로서 '지역맞춤형 도시재생'을 실현하는 한 가지 실천적 방법이 될 수 있다.

본 연구는 우리나라의 낙후지역개발사업들에 있어 개발계획지역에 대한 공간단위 설정의 적합성과 계획공간단위와 실제 공간간의 불일치에 대한 연구이다. 지역개발에 있어 그 대상이 되는 지역은 개발의 목표 달성을 위해 그에 상응하는 적합한 공간단위로 설정될 필요가 있다. 현행의 여러 낙후지역개발사업들은 개발계획지역 공간단위 설정이 법률, 정책, 제도, 주체별로 다양한 범위와 편차를 보이고 있고, 그 적합성과 효율성에 대한 논의들이 부족한 것이 현실이다. (중략)

국내 상수도가 보급되지 않은 지역 내 취약 계층은 약 214만 명으로 대부분은 노후관정 및 미신고 관정에서 지하수를 먹는물로 이용하고 있다. 이들은 대부분 미신고 관정이기 때문에 실태파악이 어렵고 정기적인 수질 검사를 실시하지 않아 수질상태에 대한 안전 대책이 미흡한 실정이다. 우리나라의 경우 농촌지역의 관정은 천부지하수의 의존도가 크고 강우에 의한 지표오염물질(축산분뇨, 비료 등)이 관정 내부로 유입 가능성이 매우 높다. 기존 연구에서도 천부지하수 관정의 조사 결과, 질산성질소 및 총대장균군에 의한 수질 오염이 심각하다고 보고된다(Chae et al., 2004; Min et al., 2003). 따라서 상수도 미보급지역 지하수 관정의 지하수 수질 현황을 파악하고, 고농도 오염 관정 및 지역의 경우 정밀조사를 통해 오염 원인을 규명해야 한다. 또한 오염 원인에 대한 향후 개선방안 및 대책안을 마련하여 지하수 수질 안정성 확보를 도모할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 환경부 산하 국립환경과학원에서는 안심지하수 지원 사업을 2012년 "지하수 안심이용 무료 수질검사 시범사업"부터 시작하여 2016년 "상수도 미보급지역 2016년 안심지하수 지원사업 연구"로 이어지며 수행하였다. 이 사업은 수질분석, 관정내부 탐사, 마을 공용 음용관정 설치지원, 고농도 오염지역 중 시범사업 지역 선정, 고농도 오염지역 수질개선 시범사업으로 구성된다. 수질 분석은 2012년 TA군 내 8개 읍 면의 1,200개 관정, 2013년 경기 북동부권 8개 시 군 11,861개 관정, 2014년 전국 14,494개 관정, 2015년 전국 25,900 관정, 2016년 전국 25,914 관정에 대해 수질 분석을 실시하였다. 수질분석 결과를 바탕으로 고농도 오염지역의 지하수 관정 내부 탐사를 실시하여 소유주에게 주변 환경 개선 조치 및 대민 지원(마을 공용 음용관정 설치)을 수행하고, 시범조사 대상지역을 선정하여 오염지역의 오염원 현황, 수질조사, 지하수 유동 모델링을 실시하여 오염 원인을 파악하였다. 추가로 2014년에는 안심지하수 수질보전 연구로드맵을 작성하여 환경부에 제시하였고, 2015년은 수질개선 사업에 대한 경제성 분석, 수질자료 DB 구축이 완료되었다.
