Ecosystem Service Assessment of Urban Forest for Water Supply and Climate Mitigation of Seoul Metropolitan Area (환경공간정보를 이용한 수도권의 수자원 공급과 기후완화 기능을 위한 도시림의 생태계서비스 평가)

  • This study assessed the water provisioning and climate mitigation ecosystem services of the urban forest in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The ecosystem service assessment is conducted based on natural function, natural function and population, and natural function and the beneficiary of the ecosystem service. Then, the impact of climate change on ecosystem services is analyzed to figure out the sensitivity of the impact on the beneficiary when the natural function of forest destroys under climate change. Gyeonggi-do has higher function-based water provisioning ecosystem service than Seoul. And population-based water provisioning ecosystem service appears to be higher in the densely populated area. On the other hand, beneficiary-based water provisioning ecosystem service by applying both natural water supply function and beneficiary distribution appears different with the result of population-based water provisioning service assessment. In other words, regions with high beneficiary population show higher ecosystem service than those with a low beneficiary population even though they have the same water storage function. In addition, climate change has a negative impact on the water provisioning ecosystem service. Under climate change, water provisioning service is expected to decrease by 26%. For climate mitigation service, regions close to the forest seem to have a low temperature, which indicates their high climate mitigation service. The center of the city with high beneficiary population shows high beneficiary-based ecosystem service. The climate change impacts the forest growth to decrease which affect the beneficiary-based climate mitigation ecosystem service to decrease by 33%. From this study, we conclude that beneficiary-based function and ecosystem service assessment is needed as well as the supply-based classification of forest function suggested by Korea Forest Service. In addition, we suggest that not only supply-based function classification and ecosystem service assessment but also beneficiary-based function classification and ecosystem service assessment is needed for managing the urban forest, which has been destroyed by climate change. This will contribute to revaluing cases where a forest with low natural function but high beneficiary-based ecosystem service, which is not considered under the current forest function-based assessment system. Moreover, this could assist in developing a suitable management plan for the urban forest.

SmartRetweet : A Study on Method of the Efficient Propagation of Location-Based News Feed (스마트 리트윗 : 위치기반 관심정보의 효율적인 전파방법에 대한 연구)

  • It is prevalent to gather the location information from GPS, WiFi and etc, and therefore LBSNS (Location-Based SNS) has increased rapidly (such as location-augmented Twitter services). The message created from LBSNS include the specific area of interests which the message is created in or mentions. It is easy to propagate the location-based information of LBSNS by adapting the retweet function which is efficient way to propagate the message in tweeter. In this paper, we have defined the smart retweet as a automatic retweet function for efficient propagating the messages which is geo-tagging the location of interests. We have designed the smart retweet system based on the tweeter system. The user could specify the area of interests and build the social networking among the users which have interested in common area. The smart retweet system have been implemented by mesh-up services based on Open-API of trweeter and google map. It is expected that the smart retweet service proposed in this paper makes easy sharing of the location-based interesting information.

  • In this study, as the role and function of university libraries have been expanded to become a base for local information services and local information service centers along with the demands of the times, this study seeks to find ways to revitalize university library services using local cultural contents. I did. As a result, first, university libraries select core cultural contents representing the region or contents related to people from the region as regional cultural contents, receive information from relevant institutions in the region, or directly It must perform social, cultural and educational functions based on culture and art. Second, when planning programs related to local cultural contents, university libraries should proceed in the form of combining local visits, learning, reading, and experiences. Third, university libraries should play a role as a repository of cultural resources and a hub of cultural resources through systematic and stable preservation of cultural resources and widespread service expansion through the establishment of a local cultural resource management system.

  • This study analyzed the case of elderly care cluster in Gwangjin-gu to explore the possibilities of social economy as a provider of community-based social services. Community-based means the approach by which community organizations build a voluntary and collaborative network to enhance collective problem-solving abilities. Therefore, it is very likely that the social economy that emphasizes people, labor, community, and democratic principles can contribute to community-based social services. This study analyzed social economic network by using four characteristics of social economy suggested by OECD community economy and employment program as an analysis framework. The results of this study are as follows: First, it is found that social economy would hardly supply community-based social services through network cooperation because of a large variation in community identity, investment to new product, and labor protection. Second, community users are not the consumers of the social economy and the products of the social economy stay in market products only for the organizations in social economy. In order to create good services that meet the needs of residents, community development approaches are required at the same time. The importance of community space where local residents and social economy meet is derived. Third, public support such as purchasing support has weakened the ecosystem of social economy by making the distinction between public economy and social economy more obscure. On the other hand, public investment in community infrastructure is an indirect aid to social economy to communicate with residents and to promote good supply and consumption. In the end, community-based social services need a platform where the social economy and the people meet. This type of public investment can create the ecosystem of the social economy.

  • 최근 통신사업자들이 초고속 무선 인터넷 서비스를 위하여 와이브로 네트워크를 설치하고 있으나, 산간 지역이나 네트워크 인프라를 구축하기 어려운 지역에서는 와이브로 서비스를 제공받지 못하는 경우가 생긴다. 현재 와이브로 네트워크에서는 서비스를 제공받지 못하는 음영지역을 중계기를 이용하여 해소하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 음영지역에 고정 중계기를 설치하는 대신 고정 중계기 비용 절감 및 능동적인 네트워크 확장이 가능하도록 WLAN 네트워크에서 연구되고 있는 ad-hoc 기반의 멀티홉 릴레이 방식을 사용하여 음영지역 문제를 해결하고자 한다

  • 최근 무선 인터넷의 발전으로 이동환경에서 위치정보를 활용한 사용자 선호 기반의 정보 및 부가서비스가 많은 호응을 얻고 있다. 사용자의 위치에 따른 지도나 PDi(PDint of Interest) 정보의 제공은 이러한 서비스의 기본이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 모바일 환경에서는 특정지역 나 시스템에서 한정적인 서비스만을 제공하고 있으며 일부 CNS(Car Navigation System)에서는 이러한 정보가 메모리형태의 저장소에 포함되어 서비스되고 있지만 단말기 독립형 서비스이므로 정보의 동적 업데이트나 실시간 정보를 적용하기 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 XML 웹서비스를 이용하여 이동클라이언트인 PDA에서 실시간 위치정보를 적용한 벡터기반의 SVG지도 및 PDi 서비스가 가능한 클라이언트/서버 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

Development of ATSC2.0 8-VSB/MH Hybrid 3DTV Service Coverage Measuring and Analyzing Equipment (ATSC2.0 8-VSB/MH 융합형 3DTV 서비스 커버리지 측정 및 분석기 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 ATSC2.0 기반 8-VSB/MH 융합형 3DTV (A/104 Part 5 Service Compatible 3DTV using Main and Mobile Hybrid Delivery, A/104 part 5) 방식의 서비스 커버리지 및 음영지역을 예측할 수 있는 측정 및 분석시스템 개발에 대하여 기술 한다. ATSC2.0 기반 고정/이동 방송시스템은 8-VSB 로 전송되는 고정 TV 방송서비스(좌영상 전송)와 ATSC-MH 로 전송되는 in-band 모바일 방송서비스(우영상 전송)를 모두 수신하여 좌/우영상의 재생 및 동기화를 통해 융합형 3D 영상을 복원하게 된다. 따라서 융합형 3DTV 수신기는 고정 및 모바일 방송신호를 모두 수신하여야 융합형 3D 영상복원을 할 수 있으며, 방송사 입장에서 서비스 커버리지 측정을 하기위해서는 8-VSB 및 ATSC-MH 신호의 수신여부를 모두 측정하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 RF 수신전계강도 파라미터 및 GPS 정보등을 실시간으로 모니터링하여, 시스템 사용자에가 융합형 3DTV 서비스 커버리지 측정 및 분석을 통해 서비스를 위한 RF 방송망 셀 구성 및 음영지역을 예측할 수 있는 ATSC2.0 융합형 3DTV 서비스 커버리지 분석기 구현에 대한 내용을 기술한다.

  • 이동 통신 기술의 발달과 휴대 단말기 등의 진화에 따라 위치기반 서비스(LBS)가 인터넷을 통해 가장 성장성이 높은 새로운 서비스 분야로 자리 잡고 있다. 하지만 LBS 핵심 기반 기술의 성장에 비해 그와 관련된 응용 서비스 및 콘텐츠의 개발 사례는 미비한 상태여서 LBS 산업의 활성화와 균형 있는 발전이 이뤄지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 특화된 무선 설문을 제공하는 새로운 LBS 기반 응용 서비스를 제시하고, 응용 서비스의 이동통신사 간 다양한 휴대 단말기의 지원과 호환을 위하여 무선 인터넷 표준 플랫폼 WIPI를 활용한 시스템을 제안하다. 제안된 시스템은 설문양식과 사용자를 관리하는 서버와 사용자 단말 클라이언트 어플리케이션으로 구성되며 LBS와 연동하여 특정 지역에 맞는 특화된 설문을 제공한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 음성인식을 이용한 일기예보 서비스 시스템을 소개한다. 이 서비스는 사용자가 지역명을 말하면 음성인식을 통해 그 지역명을 인식하여 일기예보를 들려주며, 차세대 지능망(AIN: Advanced Intelligent Network)에 구현되었다. 음성인식은 IP(Intelligent Peripheral)에서 이루어지며. 음성인식 실험 결과, 실험실과 시스템 상에서 각각 95.04%와 93.81%의 인식율을 보여 주었다.

  • Broadcasting services using Internet and Internet protocol have been developed actively. In this paper, push service technologies based on tunneling protocol and for the case of base stations using private IP addresses are proposed. This could be very proper to the broadcasting services for location & traffic information and disaster relief.
