In addition, the standards of achievement of the curriculum were analyzed into the areas of forest education curriculum to determine the similarities between the curriculum and the achievement of forest education. This study shows that, first, the field of knowledge in forest education was included in all subjects and grades except mathematics. It noted that the curriculum includes areas of knowledge that directly convey knowledge related to forest education. This showed that the forest education knowledge area is linked to various courses. Second, the types of forest education included in the curriculum appeared differently depending on age. In the lower grades, there was the most information on the tools and sensibilities of forest education, and in the higher grades, the more knowledge and value-related areas were addressed. As the school year increases, so do forest education levels. Third, when analyzing the achievement criteria in the curriculum, the curriculum achievement criteria included key points in forest education. Thus, this study confirmed the link between the curriculum and forest education.

  • Recently, interests in the notion of PKMS(Process based on Knowledge Management System) utilizing BPMS(Business Process Management System) and KMS(Knowledge Management System) have been significantly increased. Specially, most public organizations require their own effective knowledge management strategies since public business service needs various knowledge types. Based on a comprehensive framework that reflects lifecycle requirements of KMS and BPMS, we propose an PKMS system architecture, which performs step-by-step knowledge-providing strategy in public organization. To propose a PKMS architecture, this paper first investigates inter-relationships between public business and various knowledge types, and classifies knowledge types into three groups and then we suggest knowledge management strategies considering priority order among knowledge groups. Based on the proposed knowledge management, a PKMS system architecture can combine the advantages of the KM and BPM paradigms. This paper presents the PKMS system applied to employment insurance business part in real environment and demonstrated the advantages via inter-relationships between KM and BPM requirements.

  • To improve research productivity, it is important to acquire up-to-date information quickly. To this end, researchers seek information resources through various channels and methods and utilize them in their research and development processes. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has developed a platform for integrated scientific and scientific information service called ScienceOn to provide specialized information, infrastructure resources, industry and technology analysis resources in one place to support the research and information ecosystem. Through this process, accessibility and usability are enhanced through the connection and convergence of various information and services. In this study, we look at recent R&D trends in scientific technology academic information integration services and recommended packaging services that can be utilized in batches according to the purpose of use. We look forward to improving national R&D productivity by strengthening the linkage and convergence of scientific and technological information.

  • Since 1990s, major corporations and public organizations have actively implemented their own knowledge management, by which they develop new businesses and enhance organizational efficiencies. However, their knowledge management processes are sometimes isolated or mismatched with their record management systems and reveal many problems to operate and maintain them effectively. This paper analyzes the current status and problems of corporate knowledge management. Next, it proposes the necessity and the methods to integrate knowledge management and records management in order to transform corporate records as useful knowledge resources. Aligning corporate record management strategies with knowledge management policies enables to improve the management of corporate electronic records. Especially, the implementation of record retention schedule based on the life cycle management of records is emphasized as a KM governance strategy and method to manage corporate records effectively.
