This study suggests the dynamic value chain model, that will be able to not only show changing processes to organization's significant capital by integrating an individual, implicit, and explicit knowledge which affect organizational decision making, but also distinguish the key driver for raising organizational competitive power because it makes possible to analyze sensitivity of performance along with decision making alternatives and policy changes from dynamic view by connecting knowledge management capability, knowledge management activity, and relations with organizational performance with specific strategic map. Recently, a lot of organizations show interest in measuring and evaluating their performance synthetically. In organizations taking knowledge management, they introduce effective value chain model like a dynamic balanced scorecard (DBSC), and therefore they can reflect their knowledge management condition as well as show their changes by checking performance of established vision and strategy periodically. Furthermore, they can ask for their inner members' understanding and participation by communicating with and inspiring their members with awareness that members are one of their group, present a base of benchmarking, and offer significant information for later decision making. The BSC has been a successful framework for measuring an organization's performance in various perspectives through translating an organization's vision and strategy into an interrelated set of key performance indicators and specific actions. The BSC, while having significant strengths over traditional performance measurement methods, however, has its own limitations, due to its static nature, such as overlooking two-way causation between performance indicators and neglecting the impact of delayed feedback flowing from the adoption of new strategies or policy changes. To overcome these limitations, this study employs SD, a methodology for understanding complex systems where dynamic feedback among the interrelated system components significantly impact on the system outcomes. The SD simulation model in the form of DBSC would serve as a useful strategic teaming tool for facilitating an organization's communication process through various scenario analyses as well as predicting the dynamic behavior pattern of their key performance measures over a future time frame. For the demonstration purpose, this study applied the DBSC model to Prototype of Korea manufacturing and service firm.
This paper investigates the Moderating effect of entrepreneurship on the relationship between market orientation and international performance in Korean Ventures. Literature revealed that an appropriate alignment between firm strategic orientation and market positioning is critical because of its impact on firm performance. The alignment is especially crucial for SMEs as a result of their limited resource base. However, studies have not adequately accounted for the joint effect of entrepreneurship and market orientation on firm performance in different environments as foreign markets. Drawing upon a sample of 217 internationalized Korean Venture Business, it presents evidence related to mainly moderating effects of entrepreneurship on market orientation-international performance. The Key conclusion from the evidence is that market orientation, alone and in conjunction with certain entrepreneurship dimensions, is positively related to firm international performance. More specifically innovativeness and proactiveness have positively moderated the relationship between market orientation and international performance in Korean Ventures.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the beauty Probono activities and to find ways to revitalize the related activities. In this study, the research models and hypotheses were set up, and the results of the main analysis were obtained by conducting the questionnaire analysis of 701 beauty majors in the metropolitan area. First, it was found that the participation of Beauty Probono is to utilize beauty technology and knowledge, mainly through volunteer club activities. Second, Satisfaction with beauty Probono activities was highly correlated with recruitment of service organization. The reliability of the service organization tended to be higher as the level of institutional operation and satisfaction through participation were higher. Third, satisfaction with beauty Probono activities was high, and the more trust in organization, the higher the sustainability of activities. The beauty Probono activation plan suggested the development of various public relations channels, strengthened education for volunteers, and transparent management of the volunteer organization. However, this research has limitations in the limitation of research subject, and it is expected that the study of various aspects of beauty student major students will be continued in the future.

This study was undertaken for identifying ways to positively resolve problems associated with perceived overqualification from the perspective of job crafting, which is highlighted as a social issue in the labor market. We hypothesized the mediating role of job crafting in order to uncover the questions regarding when and how perceived overqualification associates with an employee's organizational commitment. Autoregressive cross-lagged models were applied to the longitudinal data gathered from 263 full-time employees across 3 waves over 9 months. Our results demonstrate positive and significant cross-lagged effect of perceived overqualification on job crafting and organizational commitment. However, the cross-lagged effect of job crafting on perceived overqualification was found to be insignificant, but was significant for organizational commitment. There were no other indications of reverse causation effects. Our data indicates that job crafting longitudinally mediates the relation between perceived overqualification and organizational commitment. These findings offer a meaningful implication that employees who perceive themselves to be overqualified should be given an opportunity to craft their own jobs.
The characteristics of performing arts differ from those of utilitarian goods in terms of economics. Factors other than price need to be considered to understand the demand for performing arts. Audience surveys as well as econometric demand studies have confirmed that socio-economic factors such as age, income, employment, and education are major determinants of the demand for performing arts. This study focused on the attributes of concerts rather than consumer characteristics to determine the concerts audiences select in terms of transaction cost. Genre, price, internet search trends, and the purpose of performance as well as price are tested as determinants of demand by using the data set for a major concert hall in Seoul. Genre and the specific purpose of concerts influence the demand for concerts. Internet search trends of the performer are used as indicators of popularity and information exposure, which are positively correlated with demand. This result supports the hypothesis that larger audiences would attend concerts that require lower information search costs. To note, price has a positive effect on demand in the higher price range, which means that concerts at higher prices attract larger audiences, whereas normal goods have a negative slope in the demand curve. This result can be explained by the hypothesis that consumers use price as an indicator of the quality expected of a concert. Transaction cost for selecting classical concerts thus forms an inverse-U shape curve against ticket price. These results provide some explanation of why audiences of classical music choose to attend concerts at high ticket prices while offering evidence in favor of the hypothesis that performing arts are selected in a social context.
Recently R&D projects take a collaborative works which involve industries, research institutions, and academic fields together. Collaborative R&D enjoys the economy of scales and economic efficiencies in that costs and risks share each others and compensate their competences. But there are some problems. The imbalance of power, the asymmetry of information, loss of trust, and opportunism among the co-researchers make the collaborative R&D difficult to succeed and disappointed outcomes. There are many variables on explaining the interorganizational relationships. Among them, I choose some relevant variables, construct research model and some hypotheses. Independent variables are fairness and quality, and dependent variables is loyalty. And trust are treated as the intervening variable between the independent variables and dependent variable. To test the research model and some hypothesis empirically, I collected the data using the questionnaire, The questionnaire was distributed to the persons that do collaborative R&D in Daeduck Innopolis. Sample size was 448, it was enough to analyze statistically. Data were analysed using the SPSS and AMOS. Procedural fairness and distributive fairness affect the organizational trust positively, and procedural fairness and distributive fairness affect member trust positively. Procedural quality and outcome quality affect the organizational quality positively. Procedural quality affects the member trust positively, but outcome quality does not affect member trust. Procedural fairness and distributive fairness does not affect the loyalty positively. Procedural quality does not affects loyalty, but outcome quality affects the loyalty positively. The organizational trust affects loyalty positively, and member quality affect loyalty positively.

By analyzing the successful innovation case of potato microtuber mass production technology, a representative case of technology-push type creative innovation in an imitation oriented research culture, this paper attempts to figure out conceptual model of creative innovation that is initiated by the public laboratories in catching-up country, Stages of creative innovation can be divided into the internal R&D stage and the external commercialization stage. Success of the internal R&D stage depended on autonomy to secure creative research idea and commitment of individual researchers. Psychological pressure evoked from sportlights of mass media and commitment of sponsor increased the intensity of research efforts of the researcher Recognition of research problem and its significance was intensified by site visits of agricultural fields, and the recognized higher impacts of expected research results and knowledge creation achieved were a fundamental source of self-motivation. In the stage of commercialization stage, various legal, socio-economic, and psychological barriers were confronted. In a catching-up country lacking of experiences of creative innovation, creative innovation process can be regarded as a barrier elimination and cultural revolution process. Among the barriers, psychological refusal of farmers to corn-sized potato seeds was critical, which finally enforced to further researches to enlarge the size of potato seeds. In addition, the researcher has concentrated his research efforts in one specialized research area by getting a series of similar research project funds rather than diversification. It was lucky for him to have a chance to carry out a series of similar researches in one research area during the last 10 years. In getting research funds from government and private companies continuously in one research area, both internal and external promoters played significant roles.
Multinational corporations' overseas R&D activities bring host countries positive effects such as knowledge spillover, technology transfer, job creation and etc. For this reason, many countries have made efforts to attract foreign firms' R&D investment in their national territories. Korean government have also implemented some policy measures to expedite foreign firms operating in Korea to increase R&D activities. However, the firms' R&D investment in Korea has still been unsatisfactory, and only few studies have examined this issue. Therefore, this study attempts to explain the R&D investment of foreign firms operating in Kore, from the perspective Dunning's eclectic paradigm. Utilizing linear regression and Tobit model, this study analyzes the influence of OLI advantages on R&D intensity of foreign firms in Korea. The result shows that locational advantages of Korea (such as revealed technological advantage) had positive influences on foreign firms' R&D intensity. However, the influence of other OLI advantages were different by foreign firms' nationalities. For instance, internalization advantages had influences on R&D intensity, but the directions were different between Japanese and other nationalities. Based on the results, we provided some discussion and attempted to draw implications for Korean government's FDI and R&D policy.
One of the most important decisions for managers in the online banner advertising industry, is to choose the best banner alternative for exposure to customers. Since it is difficult to know the click probability of each banner alternative in advance, managers must experiment with multiple alternatives, estimate the click probability of each alternative based on customer clicks, and find the optimal alternative. In this reinforcement learning process, the main decision problem is to find the optimal balance between the level of exploitation strategy that utilizes the accumulated estimated click probability information and exploration strategy that tries new alternatives to find potentially better options. In this study we analyze the impact of word-of-mouth effects and the number of alternatives on the optimal exploration-exploitation strategies. More specifically, we focus on the word-of-mouth effect, where the click-through rate of the banner increases as customers promote the related product to those around them after clicking the exposed banner, and add it to the overall reinforcement learning process. We analyze our problem by employing the Multi-Armed Bandit model, and the analysis results show that the larger the word-of-mouth effect and the fewer the number of banner alternatives, the higher the optimal exploration level of advertising reinforcement learning. We find that as the probability of customers clicking on the banner increases due to the word-of-mouth effect, the value of the previously accumulated estimated click-through rate knowledge decreases, and therefore the value of exploring new alternatives increases. Additionally, when the number of advertising alternatives is small, a larger increase in the optimal exploration level was observed as the magnitude of the word-of-mouth effect increased. This study provides meaningful academic and managerial implications at a time when online word-of-mouth and its impact on society and business is becoming more important.
