As we know, broadcasting implies a unilateral transmission by one sender to several recipients of information generally produced by third parties. Contrary to that, telecommunications implies an exchange between participants. Participants exchange information they produce during an interaction. However, in the age of convergence between telecommunication and broadcasting, it becomes difficult to determine exactly the boundary between services classified under telecommunications and those classified under broadcasting services. This means that new regulatory regime should be introduced to meet the convergence between telecommunication and broadcasting. In this article, we try to overcome the existing framework for understanding and regulating convergent services. In order to develop more powerful and useful framework for dealing with new convergent services, we focus on the original characteristic of "cast services," which could give us very significant basis for further discussion. "Cast services," such as traditional broadcasting services, have the characteristics of both public goods (non-exclusivity and non-rivalry in consumption) and non-interactivity. Depending on the existence of these three characteristics, we are able to apply different regulatory regime to those convergent services.

The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution calls for creativity - convergence talent. In addition to having mathematical knowledge, they can create new technologies by linking them to other fields. This social trend is also reflected in the 2015 revised curriculum, and plans to further expand the STEAM education emphasized since 2011. Many teachers who had previous experience with STEAM training were satisfied with the STEAM teaching effectiveness. However, the reality is that the lack of expertise in other subjects is causing a burden on the ongoing implementation of convergence education. One way to alleviate these teachers' burden is to find the STEAM elements and then apply. Since the convergence education is required continuously, it is necessary to analyze the textbook according to the 2015 curriculum. In this study, we examined how the elements of the STEAM were apply in 7th grade textbooks. Based on the classification framework proposed by Yakman (2008), a new classification framework was devised and applied to the analysis.

The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of mortality, appropriateness and continuance willingness of voluntary activities in nursing students and to investigate the effects of their continuance willingness of voluntary activities. This study was carried out from November to Decemer 2018 as a descriptive research study. Data collection was conducted among 174 university nursing students who agreed to the research and completed the questionnaire. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe post-test, Pearson correlation coefficient calculation and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0. The results of the study showed that morality, service appropriateness, service period, and aggressiveness had a significant effect on the continuance willingness. It proposes that a volunteer program that can engage with the majors and participate voluntarily and positively for the continuous service of nursing students.

This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting the satisfaction of patients undergoing dental implant surgery and to improve the satisfaction after the procedure. According to the study results of 178 dental implants patients who visited the dental hospital, regarding changes made before and after the implant procedure, 1.07 in terms of the masticatory function, while the social function evolved 0.7 points. In addition, the psychological function showed transformation 0.97 points. Furthermore, it will be necessary to make constant management through education and counseling regarding effective oral health management methods posterior to the implant procedure.

In this study, I investigated cases of operating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sustainable design courses based on interdisciplinary education for diverse design major students in the fashion design department. Through literature review, we examined the necessity of this course operation and analyzed the course through class design, execution, and operational results. Sustainable design courses were organized for 2nd to 4th-year students, promoting integrated learning for fashion design and various design majors to enhance interdisciplinary skills based on the in-depth study of SDGs issues. The educational content in the classes focused on the sustainable development goals achieved through upcycling design of waste PET bottle fibers developed by local industries, aiming to pursue sustainable values of designers through problem discovery and resolution. Students developed various upcycled products, evaluated metrics, and assessed satisfaction levels. Through this process, students gained an understanding of the practical value of SDGs, recognized the importance of sustainable development through design approaches for solving local issues, and acknowledged the significance of interdisciplinary education with various design majors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of functional electrical stimulation (FES) with mirror therapy on balance and gait ability in chronic stroke patients. Thirty-five subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomly allocated into three groups: the functional electrical stimulation with mirror therapy group(FMT group, n=11), mirror therapy group(MT group, n=12), and control group (n=12). The exercises were conducted for 30 min per day, five, per week for four weeks. Balance and gait ability were examined at baseline and after 4 weeks of intervention. After training, the FMT group showed significant improvement in berg balance scale (BBS), center of pressure (COP) length, affected step length (ASL), Cadence and average gait speed (AGS) compared MT group and control group(p<0.05). This findings show that FES and MT convergence can be an effective intervention for stroke patients balance and gait ability. Continued development of convergence interventions for stroke patients with balance and gait ability in practice, are suggested.

전 세계 모바일 데이터 트래픽은 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며 이 중 상당 부분을 모바일 비디오 서비스가 차지할 것으로 전망되고 있다. 최근 방송 및 통신 전송 기술에서 전송용량 및 대역폭의 증대와 스펙트럼 이용의 유연성 및 효율성이 크게 개선됨에 따라 다양한 모바일 방송 서비스에 대한 기대가 고조되고 있다. 증가하는 모바일 방송 수요와 더불어 미래에는 이동통신 및 차세대 방송 기술의 융합을 통하여 초고화질 콘텐츠, VR/AR 등 다양한 미디어 서비스가 가능할 것으로 전망된다. 본 고에서는 새로운 미디어 서비스를 위하여 이동통신과 지상파 방송에서 전송 기술들을 살펴보고, 이들 기술이 새로운 미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위한 발전 및 융합 방향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

교통안전에 대한 지속적인 강화정책에도 불구하고 국내 교통안전수준이 뚜렷한 개선효과를 보이지 못하고 있는 현 시점에서 차량, 도로, 이용자(운전자, 보행자) 간 끊김 없는 정보제공을 가능케 하는 새로운 ITS 융합기술(C-ITS)의 필요성이 어느 때 보다 크다. 본 지에서는 국내 교통사고자료를 바탕으로 국내외에서 검토되고 있는 C-ITS 서비스의 교통안전 기대효과를 살펴보고, 향후 교통안전 혁신을 위한 추가 안전서비스(안)를 제시하고 있다.

장소와 시간에 무관하게 누구와도 하나의 단말기로 멀티미디어 통신을 할 수 있게 하기 위한 이동통신 시스템이 단일표준으로 되지 못하고 복수표준으로 진행됨에 따라 이종의 접속망들로 구성되는 융합망이 불가피하게 되었다. 이러한 융합망 환경에서는 멀티미디어 서비스의 지속성을 유지하기 위한 QoS 보장 방안이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 세션의 지연이나 손실 등을 지속적으로 관찰하고 계약된 SLA 의 QoS 기준 만족 여부를 평가하고 이를 바탕으로 이종 망 내에서의 QoS 적응 및 조정을 수행함으써 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS 를 유지하는 방안을 제안한다.

현재 대부분의 패션 추천시스템은 프로필 또는 설문조사를 통해 수집 된 사용자의 정적 정보를 활용하고 있다. 사용자의 정적 정보는 매우 한정적이며 이를 활용하여 다양한 환경에 적합한 패션 코디셋을 추천하기란 매우 어렵다. AI코디네이터와 사용자간의 지속적인 대화가 담긴 대화질의 데이터셋을 사용하면 사용자의 상황과 환경을 고려하여 개인에게 최적화 된 패션 코디셋을 추천할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)에서 제공하는 AI 패션 코디네이터와 사용자의 대화 정보가 담긴 FASCODE 데이터셋을 사용하여 사용자의 발화에 따라 의상을 추천하는 인공지능 모델을 위한 대화질의 데이터 전처리 방법을 제안한다.
