The purpose of this study is to suggest that dwelling site planning of residential improvement district is to make in the point of sustainable improvement. The methods of this study are as follow, first, introduce the concept of sustainable improvement and research possibility of adaption of the concept. second, make a survey of the Nanminchon II District in Jeonju as a sample of residential improvement district and make a comparative study of the before and after the development. third, research adaptable elements of sustainable residence concept to Nanminchon II District to dwelling site planning. Progress and result of residential improvement district affects dweller to character of place and habitation and will gain summits of architecture.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about the study of model development of sustainable housing area. So, this study identified the concept of sustainable development and condition after investigation Habitat Agenda II, and the 10 items of agenda were used to constitute the case study framework. This study found the development characteristics through the case study of 6 sustainable housing areas in the world(US, UK and Australia), and searched the missing point in the sustainable development concept. The major findings are summarized as follows: First, the attempt of environmental sustainability was restrictive such as minimal environment pollution and waste, water resource protection and conservation of nature ecosystem. Second, in social-culture sustainability, the effort of right to housing, solution of urban squatter and housing welfare eliminated. Third, in economic sustainability, the attempt of prevent natural disaster, technological and industrial disaster excluded.

1980년대 우리나라의 가장 대표적인 가구의 형태는 핵가족의 형태였으나 2010년을 기점으로 1,2인 가구가 핵가족의 비중을 넘어서 우리나라는 소형가구(Small-Households) 시대를 맞이하였다. 현재까지 확장적 개발 중심의 도시 개발로 인해 계속적으로 증가한 주거비용은 소형가구들의 주거생활에 어려움을 겪게 하는 요소로 작용 하고 있다. 따라서 앞으로 도시에서의 소형가구들을 위한 주거 공간이 나아가야 할 방향성을 제안한다. 본 연구는 국내, 외 선행 연구 사례와 지속 가능한 도시에 대한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 지속 가능성의 3요소를 소형가구의 라이프 스타일 그리고 주거 공간과 연관 지어 공간 디자인 방안을 모색한다.

현재 주택 분야에서 이산화탄소 배출 저감이나 지속 가능 주거의 개발은 어느 나라를 막론하고 큰 관심을 끌고 있다. 아직까지 친환경 주택이나 지속 가능 건축물과 관련한 시범 사업이 이루어지지 않고, 기업의 참여도나 인식도가 낮은 국내 실정에 비해 영국의 지속 가능 주택 시범 단지는 어떠한지 살펴보자.

이 연구에서는 2007년 개정 교육과정 기술 가정과 주생활 단원에 적용할 수 있는 '이웃과 더불어 만드는 지속가능한 주거생활'이라는 주제로 실천적 문제 해결 교수 학습 방법을 적용하여 교수 학습 과정안을 개발하였다. 연구 절치는 ADDIE 교수설계모형에 따라 분석, 설계, 개발, 적용, 평가단계로 연구를 진행하였다. 교육과정과 관련문헌을 분석하여 '지속가능한 주거생활을 위해 나는 이웃과 더불어 무엇을 할 수 있는가?'라는 실천적 문제를 설정하였다. 교수 학습 과정은 총 6차시로 실천적 문제 해결 과정에 따라 문제정의(1~2차시), 실천적 추론(3~4차시), 행동(5차시), 행동에 대한 평가 단계(6차시)로 구성하였다. 1~2차시에는 지속가능한 주거에 대한 개념과 이웃공동체의 역활을 학습하면서 현대 주거의 요구를 확인하도록 하였다. 3~4차시에는 공동생활공간과 공동활동 프로그램으로 현대의 주거생활로 인해 발생하였거나 앞으로 발생가능한 자원고갈, 환경오염, 인간소외, 가족부양 등의 문제를 해결하는데 필요한 정보를 획득하고 분석하도록 하였다. 5차시는 문제해결을 위한 구체적인 행동계획을 수립하고 4~6일간 수행하도록 하였다. 6차시는 수행 결과를 발표하고 검토, 반성하도록 하였다. 교수 학습 자료는 학습 활동지(17개), 텍스트 자료(6개), 동영상 자료(6개), 인터넷 자료(2개), 이미지 자료(1개)를 개발하여 영상으로 제시하거나 인쇄물로 배부하였다. 수업적용은 2009년 9월 1일부터 14일까지 경북 상주시 소재 H중학교 2, 3학년과 병설 H고등학교 1학년의 각 1학급을 대상으로 적용하였다. 교수 학습 과정에서 연구자 관찰 내용과 학생의 수행 결과물을 분석한 결과, 학생들은 자신의 마을이나 자신의 경험과 관련이 높은 교수 학습 자료가 제시된 경우 더욱 적극적으로 학습에 참여하였다. 우리 마을의 공동생활공간과 공동활동 프로그램을 제안할 때는 또래 청소년을 대상으로 하는 제안이 대부분이었으며 저학년은 주로 개인의 흥미와 개인적인 요구 충족을 위한 활동을 많이 제안하였고 고학년은 수혜의 범위가 타인을 위한 활동을 많이 제안하였다. 그리고 행동을 수행하는 과정에서 교사의 지원에 대한 요구가 높았다. 설문지 분석 결과, 실험수업은 공동체 의식올 높이는데 효과가 있었으며 특히 마을에 대한 소속감 및 만족감, 자발적 참여의식을 높이는데 긍정적으로 작용하였다. 학습자의 실천적 문제 해결 교수 학습 과정 참여도를 단계별로 학습자가 주관적으로 평가하는 수행수준으로 알아 본 결과 4단계 모두 보통이상 이었으며 문제정의, 실천적 추론 단계가 행동과 행동반성 단계보다 높게 나타났다. 그리고 생활 속에서 문재를 발견하고 인식하는 교수 학습 내용과 다양한 학습 자료를 사용한 교수 학습 과정에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해, 실천적 문제 해결 과정을 적용한 '이웃과 더불어 만드는 지속가능한 주거생활' 교수 학습 과정안은 학습자의 공동체 의식 함양과 주거에 관련된 실천적 문제 해결 능력을 함양하는데 긍정적으로 작용하며 실천적 문제 해결 행동을 실제적으로 수행하는 것에 대해 학생들이 긍정적으로 평가하고 있다고 결론 내릴 수 있다.

This study is lately stand on the basis of the importance for global warming and environment and accept changes of the paradigm of the 21st century. also it is to start architecturial access that suggest to solutions about environment, energy and health problems in high-rise residential architecture that lately the importance for global warming and environment. Spacially since 1990, high-rise residential architecture has developed into increase rapidly, and nowdays, this has become one of the new residence type. but this have diverse problems. For this reason, this building faced neccessary to improve living space and obtain to eco-friendiness and sustainability. Therefore, this study is focused to environment-friendly architectural certification in Korea and other countries, aims to suggest planning and technical elements from this system. Through 11 cases of high-rise residential architecture certified sustainable certification system, this study drew out tendency and charateristics of main strategy elements. These analysis will express informations of current level and also suggest to direction for improvement in quality of high-rise residence.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about the study of model development of sustainable housing area. This study identified the concept of sustainable development and the principles of the Habitat AgendaII. In the context, the 10 items of it were used to constitute the case study framework. This study found the planning characteristics through the case study of sustainable housing areas m Korea. The case for the study were 91 cases of Livable City Making of government and 43 cases of Urban Village Making of citizen group. And this study searched the missing point in the sustainable development concept of the practice cases. The research findings are as follows. First, the most practice cases had the aim of rehabilitation of the village functions. Second, in the cases of Livable City Making, residents practiced the rule as a participant for changing of their village. Third, in the cases of Urban Village Making, the scale were smaller than government's cases, but they tried the residents' health and welfare. Fourth, many cases applied the concept of sustainable development; environmental, social-cultural and economic sustainability, but some cases missed several principles of the Habitat Agenda.
