In spite of the perceived importance of sustainable development in society, we still fails to reflect consistently our best understandings about the sustainable development and education for sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to inquire into the orientation of education for sustainable development in the 21st Century knowledge-based society. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, it is necessary to provide newly defined sustainable development which enables us to transform unsustainable way of life into environmentally sound and sustainable development. Education for sustainable development is defined as a basic education that have a mature understanding among the human, nature and wisdom of life. Second, we should emphasis on a system thinking, basic communication in order to encourage education for sustainable development as a learning strategy. Third, we should suggest both individual and community learning education for sustainable development. Finally, we develope knowledge system of sustainable development in accordance with the theories of knowledge management. In conclusion, it is necessary to approach education for sustainable development in the context of the knowledge-based society and the information age. It enables us enhance a new awareness and attitudes towards sustainable development. Furthermore, it is expected to develop an education program for the sustainable development of understanding.

국내의 자동차 정비 훈련 교육 현장에는 훈련교사가 빠르게 발전되고 있는 자동차 정비 기술 수준에 맞춰 교육하는데 어려움이 있다. 이 같은 어려움을 해결하기 위한 이-트레이닝(E-training) 시스템은 체험형 훈련이 가능하면서도 높은 학습 효과를 가져올 것이라 기대되고 있다. 자동차 정비 훈련을 위한 이-트레이닝 시스템은 훈련교사가 자동차 고장 항목을 설정하면, 훈련생이 고장 진단을 위한 다양한 시도를 하여 고장을 인지하고, 그에 따른 조치를 통해 주어진 문제를 해결함으로써 학습효과가 높아질 것이라 기대되는 시스템이다. 하지만 이-트레이닝 시스템은 이미 설정되어 있는 시나리오에 따른 일방적인 교육, 학습자에 대한 지속적인 관리의 어려움, 학습자의 행동을 추론하여 정확한 결과를 도출해내기가 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이-트레이닝 시스템의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 자동차 정비를 위한 자동차 몸체, 엔진, 정비 도구에 대한 온톨로지를 구축하고 추론하여 효과적인 자동차 정비 훈련 교육이 될 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop criteria that can evaluate the application and implementation process of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The subject of study is: What are the criteria to evaluate the degree of implementation of ESD in schools, and how can they be developed? In addition, the criteria questions for ESD were conducted by teachers from research and model schools in T city which applied ESD in school education. As a result, evaluation criteria questions have 3 major, 16 medium and 105 minor categories, which can evaluate ESD in school education by using a total of four kinds of analysis framework including the ESD criteria questions of ENSI (Environment and School Initiatives).

To promote environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul for a sustainable development, researchers investigated and analysed the current situation of formal and non-formal environmental education in Seoul as well as their major problems. Based on these current situation and problems, the way to improve the environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul was described. The final section deals with specific recommendations to accomplish the improvement of environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul for a sustainable development as follows: 1) Integration of formal and non-formal environmental education system, 2) Establishment and operation of a regional environmental education center for community, 3) International cooperation, and 4) To provide high quality environmental education programs.

Ecotourism, which is attracting attention as a method of sustainable tourism, is a tourism that aims to preserve the environment of the tourist area, to improve the participation and welfare of residents in the tourist area, and to improve the tourism experience and education. Ecotourism is a field that is developing at a faster rate than other areas of tourism. With the pace of growth, ecotourism faces new challenges for sustainability. This study focused on institutional sustainability in addition to economic, socio - cultural and environmental sustainability to assess the sustainability of ecotourism destinations. The results of this study confirm that institutional sustainability should be given priority for sustainability of ecotourism. Examples include the designation of protected areas, the establishment of ecotourism management entities, the regular investigation and research of academic purposes, the management of tourist visits and tourist information, the cooperation and participation of local residents, and the activities of commentators and managers. The attractiveness of ecological resources was also influenced by the access of tourists and the influence of local residents. Therefore, careful attention should be paid to the approach of tourists and the use of land by local residents in ecotourism. In the future, the operation of the visitor center, the professional education and mission of the interpreters' ecological resources, and the training and guidance of tourists by interpreters will be very helpful for the sustainability of the ecotourism destination.

This study aims to vitalize and develop community enterprises through an empirical research on what factors are required to improve the performance and to achieve the sustainable growth of community enterprises. To this end, we surveyed community enterprises located in Busan and verified the fact that social entrepreneurship, organizational justice, organization trust, psychological ownership, network activities, human resource development(education) are required to improve organizations' performance and its sustainability. We intended to find the implications of the study result and draw policy-based support programs to provide supplement points and countermeasures, to set conditions for the vitalization of Community Enterprises, and to create Community Enterprise-friendly environments.

For sustainable and responsible development of nanotechnology, the risk issues in nanomaterials must be properly addressed despite the lack of relevant knowledge and regulations. In this paper, 'Nanosmile' as an example of web-based tool for education and dialogue for the risk issues, is introduced. First developed at Atomic Energy Commissary (CEA) for in-house training, Nanosmile was integrated to European project NanoSafe2 in 2006 and evolved into an interactive website opening to the public at large. The feedback during the training process, perspectives and limitations of the website are also presented.

사회가 복잡하게 변화됨에 따라 온난화 등의 해결하기 어려운 새로운 문제들이 등장하고 있다. 이를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해서는 창의력과 절차적인 사고가 요구되며 이러한 능력을 키우기 위해 소프트웨어 교육이 필요하다. 이에 따라 2015개정 교육과정에서 정보교과의 비중이 증가하였으며, 2018학년도부터는 중학교 정보교육이 의무화되었고, 그 동안 실제 생활에 접목하여 문제 해결력 및 컴퓨팅 사고력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 피지컬 컴퓨팅이 도입되었다. 하지만 고등학생의 경우 이전 교육과정에서 새롭게 도입되었기에 피지컬 컴퓨팅 수업이 진행되기가 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 고등학생의 피지컬 컴퓨팅 구현 능력 향상과 이를 통해서 문제 해결력 향상에 어떠한 영향이 있는가를 알아보기 위해서 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육 프로그램을 위한 과정으로 오래된 운영체제에서만 사용이 가능한 구형 프린터기의 드라이버를 최신 운영체제에서도 사용이 가능하도록 프린터 드라이버를 커스터마이징하여 윈도우 10에서도 사용이 가능하도록 하는 소프트웨어 교육을 설계하였고 이를 고등학생에게 적용하기 위하여 학생들의 사전 사후 검사를 실시하고자 한다. 자원의 재활용과 환경적인 측면에서 그 동안에는 신제품 구입 후 빠른 IT환경의 발전 및 변화로 멀쩡한 하드웨어를 폐기하고, 최신 운영체제에 대응하는 하드웨어를 새롭게 구입해야 했으나, 본 교육과정을 통해 각 가정에 있는 구형 프린터의 재사용을 위한 프린터 드라이버 제작이라는 선순환적인 교육목적을 추구하며 소프트웨어 교육이라는 본질 측면에 좀 더 가까이 다가가며, 해당 하드웨어 제품에 대한 소프트웨어의 저작권 교육도 함께 진행할 수 있으며, 잘 만들어진 소프트웨어의 경우 새로운 시장을 창출할 수 있도록 하는 계기가 될 것이다. 학생들의 흥미에서는 좋은 반응을 보였으나 실제 문제 해결력을 위해서는 저변 확대가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 오래된 구형 하드웨어를 최신 운영체제에서도 사용할 수 있도록 하는 과정에서의 실생활에 적용되는 유용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 보다 효과적으로 사용하기 위해서는 프로그램의 설계에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것이다.

Recording to development of info-communication, recent educational paradigm asks not for a passive transmitter but an active constructor who can solve the various complicated problems in real situations. Such a change asks for the educational setting which includes sharing ideas and information rather than possessing them by themselves. Learning through presentation has many problems which are few chances of presentation as well as reusing of presentation data. etc. This study suggested the strategy which are promoting interactions through presentation class and using practically. For this, role of the presentation data provider and learner was suggested, also strategies to implement of the presentation learning support system step by step. Through the strategy of this paper could maintain the active communicating relationship between the learners. Without the limitation of the time and space, the real time communication is made while looking at the presentation data of the other party, the teaming effect by the presentation teaming strategy is expected to be high.
