Comparison of climate extremes under different RCP-SSP scenarios (RCP 및 SSP 기후변화 시나리오 기반 극한기후사상 전망 비교)

  • 기후변화로 인한 변동성의 증가는 돌발 홍수, 홍수량 증가로 이외에도 강우 사상의 변화, 가뭄의 빈도 및 강도의 증대 등의 문제를 이어질 수 있다. 이러한 기후변화에 대응하기 위하여 기후변화 시나리오를 제시하고 이를 정책적으로 반영할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 기존 IPCC 5차 보고서에 활용한 RCP(Representative Concentration Pathway) 시나리오에서는 온실가스 농도변화만을 반영하고 있으나, 최근 IPCC 6차 보고서에서는 사회적인 노력과 경제적 구조 등 전반적인 기후정책, 사회 불균형 등을 고려한 SSP(Shared Socio-economic Pathways) 시나리오를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 2가지 기후변화 시나리오의 차이점과 유사점을 강수 중심으로 평가하였다. 기존의 RCP 시나리오에 비하여 극한 강우 사상의 변화를 비교 및 평가하기 위하여 CORDEX-EA에서 제공하는 지역기후모델(Regional Climate Model; RCM) 기반에 시나리오를 수집하여 극한기후지수를 산정하였다. 극한기후사상을 비교하기 위하여 WMO에서 활용하는 ETCCDI(Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and Indices) 지수 중 강우 관련 지수인 R10mm, RX1day, RX5day, RD95P, RD99P, SDII를 선정하여 시나리오 별로 결과를 비교하여 제시하였다. 또한, 기존의 연대기 기준의 평가방식에서 탈피하여 동일한 기온 상승 시점에 따라 변화를 확인하기 위한 분석절차를 수립하였다. 즉, 1.5℃, 2℃, 3℃ 및 4℃ 상승한 시점의 ETCCDI 지수를 산정하여 극한기후사상을 비교 및 평가하였다.

  • The DTM(Digital Terrain Model) in GIS(Geographical Information System) shows the elevation from interpolation using data points surveyed. In panoramic flat landform, pixel size, resolution of source data may not be the problem in using DTM However, in mountainous landform like Korea, appropriate resolution accuracy of source data are important factors to represent the topography concerned. In this study, the difference in contour interval of source data, the resolution after interpolation, and different data structures were compared to figure out the accuracy of slope calculation using DTM from the topographic maps of Togyusan National Park Two types of GIS softwares, Idrisi(grid) ver. 2.0 using the altitude matrices and ArcView(TIN) ver. 3.0a using TIN were used for this purpose. After the analysis the conclusions are as follows: 1) The coarser resolution, the more smoothing effect inrepresenting the topography. 2) The coarser resolution the more difference between the grid-based Idrisi and the TIN-based ArcView. 3) Based on the comparison analysis of error for 30 points from clustering, there is not much difference among 10, 20, 30 m resolution in TIM-based Airview ranging from 4.9 to 6.2n However, the coarser resolution the more error for elevation and slope in the grid-based Idrisi. ranging from 6.3 to 10.9m. 4) Both Idrisi and ArcView could net consider breaklines of lanform like hilltops, valley bottoms.

The Context and Pattern of Turnover Social Workers Have Experienced (사회복지사들이 경험한 이직의 맥락과 패턴)

  • The purpose of this study is to discover the context and pattern of turnover social workers have experienced. To achieve this purpose, researchers collected data from in-depth interviews with seven social workers who have experiences of turnover and analysed the data using context-pattern analysis method. Research findings are composed of individual context-pattern analysis and integrated context-pattern analysis. In individual context-pattern analysis, researchers mixed time-dimension(before turnover/on the process/after turnover) and level-dimension(experienced phenomenon/meaning of experiences/context connected with phenomenon and meaning) and analysed the context of every stages and serial pattern. Also, we connected with each contexts and patterns and integrated the context-pattern of turnover. Integrated context-pattern structure is divided for four areas; organization before turnover, organization after turnover, social worker as a stakeholder of turnover, and network of social worker. Based on the results of the study, administrative recommendations were suggested in order to manage the turnover of social workers in social work fields.

  • In this paper, a flight techniques many quadcopters which can be configured flexibly squadron according to the situation in wireless sensor networks is suggested. In previous studies, aircrafts fly only as part of a prescribed form and know the distance between the aircraft by sensor was able to maintain the fleet. Also, the problem occurs that between the aircraft distance is not constant. In this paper, proposes an algorithm that the context of the formation fly using the current position of the quadcopter through a virtual map is based on the relative coordinates without being affected by Indoor, outdoor and obstacles. Proposed algorithm is Leader-Follower Technique that the method of determinin the shape of the squadron to the down command to the sub-quadcopter using the wireless network by the main quadcopter to determine a given situation. As simulation result, the proposed algorithm was confirmed that formation flight efficient in sensing the all conditions as compared to the conventional method.

  • In planning phase of Public Multi-Housing Projects, it is required to develop the methodology and criteria for fair cost prediction with influencing power from planning phase to occupancy phase. Many studies still have focused on the prediction of cost by multiple regression. However, there is no logical explanation about the influence of nonmetric variables for the prediction of cost in planning phase. Accordingly, this research pursues a cost prediction model including nonmetric variables for use in planning phase. There are 3 steps of this research : 1) Finding the factors influencing construction cost and assigning variables for a multiple regression. 2) Conducting a dummy regression analysis with nonmetric variables and model validation by comparing actual cost data. 3) Developing the ratio of RC structure cost to wall structure cost by using cost predection model. The results could establish cost prediction process including the influence of nonmetric variables and the ratio of RC structure cost to wall structure cost.

The Context of Happiness Low-Income Households Have Experienced (저소득층이 경험하는 행복의 맥락)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the context of happiness that low-income households have experienced. To achieve this purpose, this study used qualitative panel data collected from in-depth interviews and analysed the data through an inductive approach. Specifically, a researcher analysed the context of individual cases, and visualized the contexts comprised of phenomenon and participants' experiences. The researcher, also, comprised the integrated context by continuous individual and complicated analysis. As results, the researcher found that the level of happiness that low-income households have experienced was more directly related with subjective experiences than objective status. In addition, the participants' subjective experiences were comprised of very complicated components of experience, and the level of happiness could differ depending on how individuals perceived positive experiences and negative ones. Based on these findings, researcher proposed the guidelines for social welfare policy and practice to improve the level of low-income households' happiness.

Study on Correlation between Large Earthquake-Induced Underground Structure Uplift and Geological Settings (대지진에 의한 지하구조물 부상과 지질학적 특성의 상관성 연구)

  • During the 2004 Niigata-ken Chuetsu, Japan, earthquake, more than 1,450 underground structures, known as sewer manhole, were uplifted up to 1.5m in Nagaoka and Ojiya city. The uplift damage can be a serious matter because they not only hinder the flow of wastewater systems, as a part of lifeline systems, but also disturb traffic flows. For restoration works, an open-cut investigation of damaged wastewater system was conducted by the Nagaoka city government. The results from the investigation compiled valuable data sets for buried pipeline damage due to earthquakes. In the present study, the factors affecting the uplift amount of the underground structure is investigated by using the data sets which include locations of damaged sections and inclination of pipeline before and after the earthquake and the SPT borehole logs in the affected area. Correlation analysis between the underground structure uplift and the geological settings in the affected area revealed that ground water depth and original subsoil, including thickness of clay layer, SPT N-value and fill thickness are the key parameters for the uplift phenomenon.

  • 최근 하천에서 홍수방지를 위한 제방과 댐 같은 구조물이 지속적으로 건설되고 있으며 이러한 구조물의 설치는 자연적인 하천의 발달과정을 느리게 하고 어류의 서식처를 감소시킨다. 특히 주기적인 홍수 및 홍수터를 필요로 하는 어류는 유량의 규제 및 홍수터의 감소로 심각한 영향을 받게 되었고, 많은 종류의 어류가 환경 및 생태계의 변화로 멸종했다. 따라서 수중생태계에서 어류의 서식환경을 보호하고 유지하기 위해서는 공간확대를 통한 적절한 서식처가 보장되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 공간복원 시나리오에 따른 수환경 변화가 어류 물리서식처에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 2차원 물리서식처 모형인 River2D를 적용하였다. 만경강 유역의 봉동, 소양, 하리 3개의 지점을 경계지점으로 하여 대상영역 내 저지대 상습 침수구역인 만경강 본류와 소양천 합류지점을 복원대상지로 선정 후, 현재하도와 세가지 복원 시나리오(제방 셋백, 구하도, 배후습지)를 적용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 이 분석에서 모니터링 된 과거 흐름과 세가지 물리적 복원 시나리오 뿐만 아니라 필요한 유량조건의 범위에 있는 목표종 성장단계는 홍수터 서식지 이점에 영향을 미친다. 분석결과 홍수터 지역의 물리적 복원을 통해 대상어종의 생태계 복원 전의 부정적인 영향을 줄일 수 있었고 특히 WUA 분석에 따르면 세가지 복원 시나리오 적용시 복원전보다 서식처 개선효과가 크게 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 구하도 복원의 경우 WUA 값은 산란기에 20.0%, 성장기에 39.5%로 가장 큰 효과를 나타냈고, 그 결과와는 다르게 배후습지 복원의 경우 성어기에 85.3%로 가장 크게 나타났다. 또한 동일한 흐름에서 홍수터의 확보 및 복원을 통해 최소유량에서 최대서식처 개선효과를 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 복원이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 복원계획에서 대상어종의 성장단계와 복원 시나리오를 고려해야 하고 정확하게 검토해야 하며, 생태학적 특성도 면밀히 조사되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 앞서 분석된 데이터는 최적의 하천 복원 유형을 판단하기 위한 기초자료 및 판단근거로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Evaluation of Lateral Resistance for Tie-cell Wave-dissipating Block by Model Experiments (모형실험을 통한 타이셀소파블록 구조체의 수평저항력 평가)

  • Recently, interest in Tie-cell wave-dissipating blocks that can compensate for the disadvantages of block-type breakwaters and provide economically effective design is increasing. Tie-cell wave-dissipating block has high activity resistance due to its structure in which each block is held together by a pile. In this study, through the laboratory model experiments, it was possible to confirm the increase in lateral resistance of the Tie-cell wave-dissipating blocks due to the penetration of the piles. The lateral resistance of the piles appeared almost constant regardless of the overburden load of the blocks. The lateral resistance shared by the piles changed depending on the increase or decrease in the lateral resistance of the friction between blocks. In the experiment in which two piles were penetrated, the overall lateral resistance was larger than the case a single pile was used, but the resistance behavior of the piles was different.
