  • This paper is analyzing the situation of the Internet of Things Industry and draw the policy implications to promote Internet of Things industry. Major IT companies as Apple, Google, IBM, Sony, and Samsung have developed various smart glass and smart watch as a Iot products. In order to promote Iot Industry, we should take the build up of eco system between IT makers and the various contents provider, protection of personal information and data, development of killer applications and business models, and the conversion from IPv4 to IPv6 as a next internet address infra, build up of international standard platform on IoT.

  • Research is underway on services and systems that provide real-time alerts for suffocating gases and potentially explosive materials, but currently smart bend type services are lacking. This study supports real-time identification of explosion hazards due to static electricity in the workplace and immediate elimination of accident occurrence factors, real-time monitoring of worker status and workplace hazards (oxygen, hazardous chemical concentration), and immediate warning and data in case of danger. We propose a method of establishing an accident prevention system through analysis. In this way, various accidents that may occur in industrial sites are monitored using IoT-based intelligent sensor nodes, wireless network technology, data processing middleware, and integrated control system, and real-time risk information at the industrial sites is prevented and accidents are prevented. By supporting a safe working environment, the company can significantly reduce costs compared to post-procurement costs.

  • These days, a lot of research has been in progress for a home automation system. In this study, the intelligent home automation system is developed for automatically controlling the temperature and illumination of the house. The difference with other research can be adjusted individually according to your taste and lifestyle of each individual, it is that it provides a more comfortable living environment through the accumulated lifestyle database. In addition, proposed system can use the mobile app to easily control the lighting devices, a electric fans, and heaters. Moreover the mobile app of proposed system offers function that allows you to search for residential environments statistics on their lifestyle.

  • Recently, the smart home market is growing due to the development of wireless communication technology and sensor devices, and various devices are being utilized. Such an IoT environment collects various vast amount of device information for intelligent services, receives services based on user information, controls various devices, and provides communication between different types of devices. However, with this growth, various security threats are occurring in the smart home environment. In fact, Proofpoint and HP warned about the cases of damage in a smart home environment and the severity of security vulnerabilities, and cases of infringement in various environments were announced. Therefore, in this paper, we have studied secure mutual authentication method between smart nodes used in smart home to solve security problems that may occur in smart home environment. In the case of the proposed thesis, security evaluations are performed using random numbers and frequently updated session keys and secret keys for well-known vulnerabilities that can occur in IoT environments and sensor devices such as sniffing, spoofing, device mutual authentication, And safety. In addition, it is confirmed that it is superior in security and key management through comparison with existing smart home security protocol.

  • 지능형 IoT 애플리케이션들을 효과적으로 사용하기 위해서는 추론 엔진을 Edge device로 포팅하는 것이 필수적이다. 그러나 컴퓨팅 자원이 제한적인 Edge 환경에서 computational cost가 상당히 큰 CNN 추론을 실시간으로 하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 이에, CNN 추론의 하드웨어 가속화의 필요성이 제기되어 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있으며, Xilinx, Intel 등에서도 하드웨어 가속화를 도와주는 툴을 개발하여 지속적으로 업그레이드하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 CIFAR-10 데이터베이스의 테스트 이미지 10,000개를 Xilinx 사의 CNN 추론 엔진인 DPU를 사용하여 Zynq UltraScale+ 보드에서 추론해보고, DPU 아키텍처에 따른 결과를 비교·분석했다. 병렬처리 수준을 높게 한 DPU는 그렇지 않은 DPU보다 소비전력 및 자원 사용량이 3배 이상 높았지만, 1.65배 좋은 성능을 보여 Trade-off 관계를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The connected farm that agricultural land, agricultural machinery and farmer are connected with an IoT gateway is in the commercialization stage. That has increased productivity, efficiency and profitability by intimate information exchange among those. In order to develop the educational program of intelligent agricultural machinery and the agricultural machinery safety education performance indicator, this study analyzed patent trends of agricultural machine with unmanned technology used in agriculture and efficiency technology applied advanced technologies such as ICT, robots and artificial intelligence. We investigated and analyzed patent trends in agricultural machinery of Korea, the USA and Japan as well as the countries in Europe. The United States is an advanced country in the field of unmanned technology and efficiency technology used in agriculture. Agricultural automation technology in Korea is insufficient compared to developed countries, which means rapid technological development is needed. In the sub-fields of field automation technology, path generation and following technology and working machine control technology through environmental awareness have activated.

  • 최근 IoT 기술의 발전에 따라, 사용자는 외부에서 스마트폰을 통해 가정 내 기기 및 환경을 관리할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 가정 내 다양한 상태 정보를 이용하여 최적의 환기 서비스를 제공하고, 최적의 내부 공기 환경을 지원하는 아두이노 기반 가정 내 공기 관리 및 경보 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템을 통해 사용자는 외부에서 편리하게 가정 내 공기 환경정보를 얻을 수 있고 자동 제어가 가능하며, 향후 다양한 가정 내/외부 환경정보 및 상태정보를 활용하는 고도화된 지능형 홈 서비스 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

  • Entering the 4th industrial revolution, many technologies are developing and various threats are emerging. In order to cope with such threats, research is being conducted in many fields. Even in the development of various fields, the threats caused by the development of medical technology and intelligent vehicles are the threats to life due to misinformation about medical care and the threats to life by preventing the safe operation of people through intelligent vehicles. In this paper, as the patient's information is important, the private blockchain is used to increase the safety, efficiency, and scalability of the patient's medical records. We propose an information protection technique using blockchain technology to hack the car system and threaten the driver's life, solve privacy problems by identifying personal information and differences, and prevent forgery in the Internet of Things.

  • 본 논문에서는 Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)를 이용하여 도로의 Internet of Things(IoT)를 실현하는 기술을 구상한다. RFID태그를 도로에 일정한 간격으로 설치하고, 자동차에 설치된 RFID 리더기가 태그에서 정보를 읽고 실시간으로 중앙통제센터에 보낸다. 이 정보를 분석하여 교통량, 사고유무, 사고위치 등을 파악하여 교통문제나 2차사고를 예방한다. 이 기술의 목적은 현재 상용화된 Global Positioning System(GPS)기술이 감지하기 힘든 환경이나 Vehicle to Vehicle(V2V)가 가지는 해킹의 문제점을 보안하여 안전한 운전환경을 제공하는데 있다.

  • Domestic water supply and sewage facilities are rapidly aging and maintenance difficulties such as aging of operation and management personnel are overlapping, so Digital Twin technology is attracting attention as an intelligent means of process management. Digital twin projects for domestic water treatment processes include the smart sewage treatment project promoted by the Ministry of Environment, projects independently promoted by some local governments, and digital twin purification plant projects promoted by K-water. However, the content of digital twin promotion is different for each institution. Therefore, in the water treatment process, technological standardization and step-by-step implementation methods for digital twins must be preceded to reduce trial and error in future business promotion. This study aims to provide an efficient promotion plan by prescribing the digital twin element technology and composition method in the water treatment process and reviewing the contents currently being promoted by the Ministry of Environment, local governments, and K-Water individually.
