The purpose of this study is to examine the status of FTA origin verification for exported goods in Korea and analyze the cases of major origin verification to seek origin management strategies that enables exporters to actively satisfy origin verification requirements. The case analysis demonstrates that it is important to meet not only the substantive, but also formal and procedural requirements of origin verification. We identified origin management strategies including: develop internal origin management experts and origin management system, utilize external expertise and related support institutions, strengthen networking with supplier companies, consider origin management at the contract stage and continue origin management after export.

The development of advanced technology gives us many problems. In mentally view point, the major one is depression. Depression appears in various forms. In worst case, it leads into suicide. This study designs and develops a new type of healing content which the convergence in the virtual space, Movement of Thought, Head Mounted Display, Leap Motion, Color Therapy, Music Therapy methods in order to improve the symptoms of depression. The developed convergence content will be effective in healing methods instead of the existing medication relieve depression and improve self-esteem of patients with depression. Future research will try to apply the clinical development of a prototype content.

A case of Marfan’s syndrome with atresia of right coronary artery is reported. A 45-year-old woman, who was diagnosed as Marfan’s syndrome 1 year ago, came to the hospital complaining of acute chest pain. The patient showed arachynodactyly, pectus carinatum, and long and slender extremities. In echocardiography there were severe aortic regurgitation measured grade IV and aortic dilatation of ascending aorta maximally 5.9 cm in diameter. Mitral regurgitation was mild, but there were also moderate left ventricular dilation and moderately decreased ejection fraction of left ventricle. At operation, atresia of right coronary artery was found. We performed Bentall type operation with SJM 27mm valved conduit for left coronary artery, and Piehler’s modification for right coronary artery bypass using 6mm PTFE graft. The atretic portion of right coronary artery from the suspected right coronary ostium to distal coronary flow was about 4 cm in length. The combination of right coronary artery atresia and Marfan’s syndrome is very rare. The author describes the rare case, which is treated with combined technique of Bentall and Piehler modification for reconstruction of coronary circulation.

Extracapsular cataract extraction with posterior chamber intraocular lens in 24 eyes of 24 diabetics, with and without diabetic retinopathy, were followed up postoperatively for an average of 14 months to determine the incidence of progression of diabetic retinopathy, the final visual acuity and factors predictive of progression of retinopathy and final visual acuity. Overall, retinopathy progressed in 52% of operated-on eyes. Cataract extraction was highly associated with progression of diabetic retinopathy. Women had a significantly increased risk of progression of retinopathy in the operated-on eye compared to men. Visual acuity improved in 22 of 24 orerated-on eyes : however, only 11 eyes achieved a visual acuity of 0.5 or better and only 7 eyes achieved a visual acuity of 0.7 or better. Patients treated with oral hypoglycemic agents had a worse visual prognosis than those treated with insulin. The prognosis of patients with diabetic retinopathy about to undergo cataract surgery, even extracapsular cataract extraction with placement of a posterior chamber lens, is guarded.

On the contrary to the steady rise of social problems about depression, only a few take care of mental health themselves due to their negative perception of psychotherapy. In this study, we propose service design and user interface design of mobile applications that introduce an automatic emotional recognition system to prevent leaving depression unattended. First, we have come up with improvements in the usability of existing apps through literature research and case analysis, and draw out Personas from surveys and in-depth interviews of young people. As an essential element of the design of the Depression Improvement Service, we recommend having three components: writing a diary to manage schedule, recognize users' emotional state through avatar management, and tracking down emotional points to improve the cognitive system. Through this proposal, we want to prevent the development of depression and help to resolve the changes in perception of depression and longitude depression on our own. Ultimately, we publicize the necessity of mental health care application design and expect to lower the personal and social costs for psychiatric care.

Childhood depression was not officially accepted as a separate diagnosis until 20-25years ago. Although DSM-III R criteria gave us a starting point and are gaining acceptances as a useful tool for diagnosing childhood depression recently, many professionals feel that additional modifications are needed to better reflect the developmental aspects of children. And because children are relatively poor in expressing their moods or feelings due to weak reality sence and/or cognitive and linguistic limitations, the author too carefully suggest that developmental perspectives of children should be considered in diagnosing childhood depression. Little is known about the extent to which childhood depression precedes adult depression and persists into adult life and about the impact of it on the personality formation. Some evidences that childhood depressive symtoms can be quite enduring make it important to make an early diagnosis and treatment.

Alexithymia is characterized by difficulties identifying and describing feelings, impoverished fantasy life, and concrete and poorly introspective thinking. Alexithymic patients have been reported to show a stable deficit with regard to processing and regulating emotions. Eating disorders are characterized by a persistent disturbance of eating or eating-related behavior that significantly impairs physical health or psychosocial functioning. Like alexithymic patients, patients with eating disorders show the impaired capacity to process and regulate emotions. There is a robust body of literature showing patients with eating disorders are more alexithymic than healthy controls. Specifically, patients with eating disorders experience difficulties identifying and describing emotions. Childhood maltreatment can increase the risk for depression and alexithymia, which can in turn lead to disordered eating symptoms. Also, higher levels of alexithymia are correlated with a less favorable clinical outcome in patients with eating disorder. Therefore, treatments to help processing and regulating emotions of eating disorder patients with pronounced alexithymic traits may seem to lead to a higher possibility of recovery.

Diabetic nephropathy is a major and representative complication of type 2 diabetes. Hyperglycemia increases the incidence of diabetic nephropathy, and induces kidney inflammation, thereby causing renal fibrosis, which is an important factor in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy. This study investigated the effects of blackcurrant extract (BLC), which has been implicated in diabetic nephropathy in db/db mice, on glomerular fibrosis and renal dysfunction. The results showed that BLC consumption in type 2 diabetic db/db mice ameliorated diabetes-related metabolic disorders, such as insulin resistance and renal dysfunction, and significantly attenuated renal inflammation and renal fibrosis in diabetic nephropathy. In conclusion, these findings suggest that BLC consumption may help prevent renal fibrosis, inflammation, and consequent diabetic nephropathy.

This study analyzed the moderating effect of mindfulness on the relationship between college students' mental health and college life adjustment. The study subjects were 246 college students. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the group with high satisfaction regarding their major showed significantly higher mindfulness and college life adjustment than the group with low satisfaction. Second, ta negative correlation was found between mental health(hypochondriasis, depression, psychopathic deviate, paranoia, schizophrenia, introversion) and mindfulness. Third, a significant negative correlation was found between mental health (depression, psychopathic deviate, paranoia, psychasthenia, schizophrenia, introversion) and college life adjustment. Fourth, mindfulness positively impacted college life adaptation. Fifth, mindfulness also had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between mental health (depression, psychopathic deviate, psychasthenia, schizophrenia, introversion) and college life adjustment. Thus, this study focused on the role and importance of mindfulness as a way to improve mental health and adjustment among college students.
