근접셀렌화법을 의해 제조된 $Cu(In,Ga)Se_2$ 흡수층의 물성

  • Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) 화합물 반도체를 기반으로 한 태양전지는 박막태양전지 기술 중 세계최고효율을 기록하고 있다. CIGS를 합성하는 방법은 동시증발법, 스퍼터링/셀렌화 등의 진공방식과 나노분말법, 전착법, 용액법 등의 비진공방식이 있으나, 현재까지 진공방식이 양산기술로서 완성도가 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히 스퍼터링에 의한 전구체 박막 증착과 셀렌 분위기에서의 열처리 공정을 결합시킨 2단계 공정은 동시증발법에 비해 대면적 모듈 제조에 유리한 것으로 알려져 있다. 셀렌화 공정은 통상 반응성이 매우 높은 H2Se 기체를 이용하고 있으나, 부식성 및 안전성 문제를 해결하기 위해 추가적인 설비가 요구되므로 제조비용을 높이는 단점을 갖는다. 한편, Se 증기를 이용하면 안전성은 담보되나 낮은 반응성으로 인해 고온에서 장시간 열처리를 해야하는 문제를 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 Se 증기를 사용하되 반응효율을 높일 수 있는 새로운 셀렌화 열처리방법을 제시하고자 한다. 기존의 Se 증기가 별도의 증발원을 이용하여 공급된 것과는 달리, 금속전구체 직상부에 Se이 코팅된 별도의 커버글라스를 위치시켜 Se의 손실을 최대한 억제하였다. Se 커버글라스가 밀착된 금속프리커서를 $200{\sim}600^{\circ}C$ 온도범위에서 열저항가열로 내부에서 열처리하였으며, 추가로 Se을 공급하지는 않았다. 이와 같은 방법 제조된 CIGS 박막의 물성을 X선회절법, 주사전자현미경 등으로 관찰하였으며, 예비실험결과 비교적 낮은 온도에서 chalcopyrite 상이 형성됨을 확인하였다. 근접셀렌화에 의해 제조된 CIGS 박막이 적용된 태양전지를 제조하여 셀렌화 공정변수에 따른 소자특성변화를 제시하고자 한다.

Effects of Various Pretreatment Methods on Physicochemical and Nutritional Properties of Carrot (다양한 전처리 방법에 따른 당근의 이화학 및 영양학적 특성 분석)

  • Pre-thermal treatment is important to minimize quality changes during main cooking or storage. In this study, to optimize pre-thermal treatment of carrots, three types of pre-thermal treatments were applied to carrots and quality changes such as physicochemical, nutritional, or sensory properties were observed. Washed and sliced carrots were thermally treated by hot-water immersion ($100^{\circ}C$, 1~10 min), steaming ($100^{\circ}C$, 1~10 min), and stir-frying with oil (10~80 sec). Carrot tissue was maintained until 2 min hot-water immersion or steaming, and they were damaged by just 30 sec of stir-frying. Color and hardness were significantly affected by treatment time and temperature. Color was completely changed after 5 min and 7 min by hot-water and steam treatments, respectively. Hardness decreased to 44% compared with fresh carrot (4,500 g) after 1 min, 3 min, and 20 sec of hot-water, steam, and stir-frying, respectively. For nutritional changes, ascorbic acid, organic acid, and peroxide activity were reduced by all treatments compared with fresh carrot. Especially, succinic acid was dramatically reduced by hot-water treatment. Otherwise, free sugar contents were increased with greater treatment time in all samples. In this study, pre-thermal treatment of carrot was optimal at 2 min steaming treatment.

Desorption of organic Compounds from the Simulated Soils by Soil Vapor Extraction (인공토양으로부터 토양증기추출법에 의한 유기화합물의 탈착 현상에 관한 실험 연구)

  • Soil vapor extraction (SVE) is known to be an effective process to remove the contaminants from the soils by enhancing the vaporization of organic compounds using forced vapor flows or applying vacuum through soils. Experiments are carried out to investigate the effects of the organic contaminants, types of soils, and water contents on the removal efficiency with operating time. In the study, simulated soils include the glass bead which has no micropore, sand and molecular sieve which has a large volume of micropores. As model organic pollutants, toluene, methyl ethyl ketone, and trichloroethylene are selected. Desorption experiments are conducted by flowing nitrogen gas. Under the experimental conditions, it is found that there are linear relationships between logarithm of removal efficiency and logarithm of number of pore volumes. The number of pore volumes are defined as the total amount of air flow through the soil column divided by the pore volume of soil column. For three organic compounds studied, the removal rate is slow for no water content, while the number of pore volumes for removal of organic compounds are notably reduced for water contents up to 37%. For the removal of dense organic compound, such as trichloroethylene, a large number of pore volumes are needed. Also, the effects of the characteristics of simulated soils on the removal efficiency of organic compounds are studied. After the characterization of soil surface, porosity of soil columns and types of contaminants, the results could provide a basis for the design of SVE process.

Effects of Thermal Treatment and Freezing Storage Period on Physicochemical and Nutritional Characteristics of Shiitake Mushrooms (열처리 방법과 냉동 저장 기간에 따른 표고의 이화학적 및 영양학적 특성 변화)

  • Freezing is one of the main processes to extend the shelf life of foods. Before freezing, a thermal treatment is normally required to control the food quality. In this study, shiitake mushrooms were heated with boiling water and with superheated steam. After the thermal treatments, the samples were continuously frozen by an individual quick freezing (IQF) process, and put them into air-containing or vacuum packaging. Samples were stored at -12, -18 and $-24^{\circ}C$ for 24 weeks, and their physicochemical properties were determined. The lightness of the samples treated with boiling water and superheated steam was decreased by 12 and 15%, respectively, than that of the control. The hardness of all the samples rapidly increased after heat treatment. The contents of organic acids in the superheated steam treated samples were higher than those in the boiling water treated samples. Therefore, superheated steam treatment of samples may be a candidate thermal treatment to preserve frozen shiitake mushrooms.

화학증기수송법을 이용한 금속 몰리브덴 박막 증착

  • 몰리브덴(Mo)은 우수한 전기전도도와 고온 안정성으로 인해 전자부품의 전극으로 널리 사용되고, 미래 에너지인 태양전지 분야에서 CIS계 화합물박막태양전지의 후면전극으로 이용되고 있는 재료로서 현재 증착 방법으로는 D.C. sputtering이 가장 널리 이용되고 있다. 또한 $MoO_3$ 분말이 Mo 분말로 수소 환원되는 과정은 $MoO_3+H_2{\rightarrow}MoO_2+H_2O$$MoO_2+2H_2{\rightarrow}Mo+2H_2O$의 2단계를 통해서 수행되며 이중 첫 번째 단계에서 $MoO_3(OH)_2$라는 기상을 통해 지배적으로 일어난다고 알려져 있고 이를 화학증기수송(Chemical vapor transport : CVT)이라고 한다. 본 연구에서는 $MoO_3$분말의 수소 환원 과정 중에 발생하는 기상인 $MoO_3(OH)_2$을 이용하여 몰리브덴 옥사이드 박막을 증착하고 이를 다시 수소분위기에서 수소 환원하는 증착 방법을 통해 균일하고 부착성이 우수한 Mo 박막을 제조하고자 하였다. 기판으로 사용된 Glass를 $MoO_3$ 분말 위에 홀더를 이용하여 $MoO_2$ 박막을 증착하고 이를 다시 수소분위기에서의 수소 환원을 통해 Mo 박막을 성공적으로 제조하였다. 제조된 Mo박막의 결정구조 및 미세조직을 XRD 와 SEM을 통해 분석하였다.

A Study on the Removal Efficiency of the Soil Vapor Extraction by Numerical Simulation (수치모형에 의한 토양증기추출법의 제거효율에 관한 연구 - 차단벽, 추출유량, 펌프가동방법의 영향 -)

  • When the soil vapor extraction as a remediation method of contaminated soil and groundwater has been used, the effects of curtain wall, mode of pump operation and magnitude of extraction flowrate were examined by numerical simulation. Consequently, it was found that the removal rate was enhanced in case that the curtain wall was established around the extraction well with the extraction pumps operated alternatively. It was because that the removal of high density gas around the extraction well was possible. It was found that the removal efficiency of TCE gas did not depend on the extraction flowrate. However, the removal rate of TCE gas at varying extraction flowrate was not enhanced flowrate increase.
